I was referred to Cason's Equipment by the previous owner of my new home. The service I received right from the beginning was nothing less than stellar. I needed information regarding the service history on the standby generator at our new home, so I called Cason's Equipment and was directed to Dan. Dan was friendly, professional, informative and very attentive to my concerns. Much to my surprise, within a minute or two, Dan was able to tell me all of the service history performed on our generator including dates, parts, and even the number of hours on the generator when it was serviced. Needless to say, I was quite impressed. He informed me that our generator had been due for service in September. After realizing we were new to having a stand by generator, Dan was able to coordinate a demonstration on our generator during our first preventative maintenance at no extra charge so we could become more familiar with our equipment. He was willing to help in any way possible to get our service into the schedule as quickly as possible with us being home for a demonstration of the unit. He followed up with emails and several telephone calls to assist in getting the service done during a time that would work for us. During our telephone conversation I was placed on a brief hold and realized from the information on hold that I was dealing with much more than just a generator service company. When Dan returned to the line, I had questions regarding having my lawn mower and snow blower serviced. Once again, Dan provided me the information necessary to schedule those services and have the mower and snow blower picked up for service. The technician, Dusty, that came to our home to service our generator was very professional and went above my expectations to handle our concerns and questions. His patience, thoroughness and knowledge was exemplary. The pick up driver was Ernie, and as with everyone else I had encountered so far, he was polite, professional and pleasant. Once my snow blower and lawnmower were evaluated for service, I received a call from Eric, who was courteous and professional as he explained in detail what repairs were needed, and the approximate cost of each service. The costs were very reasonable and the time frame was as would be expected for this time of year. I requested that my snow blower be serviced before my lawnmower, and he agreed that would be prudent. Eric advised he would contact me once the repair was complete to schedule the delivery of the equipment back to our home. All in all, every person and department I dealt with was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and professional. It's nice to find a company which truly appreciates the value of customer satisfaction and goes above and beyond to achieve that goal. I cant say enough good things about Casons. My current generator company would not return my call, so i called this place. After a lengthy hold time yesterday, a nice gentleman Alex apologized for the wait and was extremely helpful. He explained that there was an extended power outage and they were having phone issues. Either way, i explained that i was having issues with my automatic generator, he spent the time with me on the phone (about 15 + minutes) and helped me reset my generator. i was surprised he was so patient and didnt seem to mind taking the time to help (this may also be one of the reasons i was on hold for a bit). He got me through the power outage and i could not be more grateful. after seeing the amount of time they had to spend with me on the phone, i can understand the wait time. i will be switching my regular maintenance with this company as i am floored at how well they took care of me this time. i look forward to another good experience! read more

I brought my 20 year old snow thrower to these guys on a Wed because there was something wrong with the auger and it would not throw snow. On Thursday, the first Nor easter of the year was predicted to hit first thing on Sat morning. I wanted to call to see if it would be ready but I knew that was unfair. On Friday, I got an email AND a phone call indicating that it was ready. I thought that the "fix" must have been something simple. Instead I learning that the auger had become separated from the crank shaft and had been wearing out the connection point. They spent 3-hours welding the pieces back together. They said that it would last until it broke again but they wanted to get something back to me before the storm. Now that's service. In addition, all the grease points were done and the thing fired off like a charm. Great job Casons. Highly recommend these guys. True professionals!!! read more

Buyer Beware! I took an almost new piece of equipment there for a warranty repair and they said the problem not covered under warranty and would cost me a couple of hundred $$$ . I declined service because the symptoms didn't support that diagnosis and I didn't believe them. After getting the unit back, I found that an 8$ part was faulty (which would have been covered under warranty) and replaced the part myself fixing the unit. I can't help but believe they knew that all along the part was faulty and would have replaced the part and then charged me for the "phantom" repair anyway. My advise to anyone considering them, is to seek a second opinion if their diagnosis leads to a repair costing much more than you expected!! I know I'll never go back to them again and won't recommend them to anyone else either! read more

I only wish there was more than 5 Stars for Cason Equipment ! My Yamaha Track Drive snow blower developed a problem with the drive mechanism during the last sizable snow storm and it being an older machine i feared the worst ! I brought it to Cason Equipment and they searched for the parts , found them and made the repair . The Quality of the work was outstanding and the final cost for parts and labor was VERY reasonable ! I would HIGHLY recommend Cason Equipment not only for their outstanding service but their staff is personable and highly trained ! The customer service of Cason Equipment is and always has ben outstanding. We purchased a backup generator several years ago and use their service plan. On Monday (January 26, 2015), we decided to do a quick test of the generator before the predicted monster storm (Juno) - and it didn't start! We called Cason, and they were at my house a couple of hours later - even though I know they were totally swamped before the storm. We are now waiting for the storm, comfortable knowing that our generator is operational should we need it. read more

I've used these guys twice, and have been very pleased with their service and professionalism. Once was when a hurricane was approaching and I couldn't get my backup generator started. They gave me same-day service, got it fixed, and didn't gouge me on the price (even though I was desperate). Recently, I had a small gas engine repaired, on a non-emergency basis. Brought my pressure washer here for repair. Ended up being that i stored it with water over the winter and pump froze and cracked. Shop manager George showed me the broken part and worked with me on getting it covered under warranty anyways. Cost of repair went completely to warranty company!!!!!!! they really went to bat for me even though it was my fault. Great service and very polite group of guys down there. Our Snow Blower died in the middle of that 36" storm earlier this week. All the big box stores were sold out of new machines. Cason had them and delivered me a new machine the next day. It was fuel prepped and ready to go. All done over the phone and the delivery driver went over the controls. I was up and running 2 minutes after the machine arrived. I've dealt with Cason's for 28 years and I have always found them to be honest, efficient, and competent. If you want your machines maintained to give you many years of service they are the best.
