There are large meeting spaces and they're known to hosts many events. The parking lot was huge and complimentary; there is one electric vehicle charging spot. The amenities include, indoor pool, fitness center, restaurant, bar, coffee shop, and shuttle service. I've been to many events over the years there, including a New Year's Eve party and a wedding. The space is clean and modern. My family and I stayed there recently. The room was nice. We had a king bed, a chair, large TV, desk, Keurig machine, and decent bathroom. The bed was comfy and the pillows were great and firm. I've been to many hotels where the pillows are just limp and flat. The room was quiet and I didn't hear my neighbors. Unfortunately, there was some sort of youth sports conference event the weekend we went and the pool was packed everyday with tweens. Needless to say, we didn't get to swim in the pool. Overall, we did have a nice stay and would definitely stay there again.

It set the tone for what ended up being a very uncomfortable meal. The organization of the brunch was extremely poor. All tables were seated and then released at the same time, which created complete chaos. There was no direction, no clear flow, and no communication. Two lines formed for the buffet, but there wasn't nearly enough space to accommodate everyone. At the carving station, both lines collided and people had to awkwardly cross over each other just to access different items. The food itself was also underwhelming. Several of the vegetables were undercooked, and overall the quality did not meet expectations for a holiday brunch. To add to the frustration, I asked for milk for my mom's coffee (she can't have cream), and after about 10 minutes, we were told there was no milk anywhere in the building. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience--especially for a special occasion like Easter. Unfortunately, we won't be returning.

From the dining area, you have great views of the water, boats, and you can also see part of the golf course. Service at Par & Tackle is always friendly and the food and drinks are very good. The interior walls of the first floor are constructed of hand-finished wood panels, the original floors are maple, and details such as beveled mirrors and an emerald green tiled fireplace lend a formal and elegant air to the surroundings. Upstairs, the Ballroom was used in the old days for special social events, especially during the '30's and '40's. That is where our event was held and it was a really roomy space. Loved the well kept hardwood floors and the plaster friezes and frescoes of cherubs and musical instruments that adorn the 20-foot ceilings. This grand room, with its birch floors, is painted in warm, rosy tones to evoke a sense of well being, a priority during the "Gay Nineties". At night, it is nicely lit up.

We fell in love with her, the house, everything including the murder-by-mail story behind the house from the 1800s. About 2 weeks before the party we called Kaitlyn and told her it was going to turn into our surprise wedding! She continued to be so helpful and excited, giving recommendations for all kinds of vendors we'd need. The day of the party she was professional and hands-on, making sure everything got done on a quick timeline. She calmed nerves and had great suggestions on where things should go to make sure everything flowed just right. Our rental price included some tables and linens she had available, and some glassware too. It was so perfect from the start and we couldn't be happier!!

Beautiful historic building who's tour guides added in a true life murder mystery of the lady of the houses death. This really added to the event as it was so my scene and absolutely fun. They also had a whiskey tasting since she was poisoned with whiskey which is ironically amazing. I would def host an event here because unlike the Newport mansions I could touch things and see things in the midst of being historically preserved since they're still restoring the house. The floors were filthy and disgusting clearly again not vacuumed. The floors were so bad. I had to wash my feet in the morning before I put my socks on. You could visibly see the dirt discolor the water in the bathtub when I did so. The surfaces had not been fully wiped. There were foot-long black hairs all over the bathroom floor clearly not mine since I have a very short haircut. I'll have to come back to finish this

I, never having had corned beef hash in my life, tasted hers and thought it was really good! All in all, I'm so glad I finally discovered this spot. I can see why it's so popular and can imagine much longer lines on the weekends. Arrive early for your best chances at parking :)
