Tenants Packages are stolen including mine we have stairway that stinks with human urine. We all know it's not inexpensive living at Tempo at RiverPark. So, as a rental property what can the owners assist with, along with tenants to improve the renting experience at Tempo at River Park? How can this be rectified to avoid unpleasant experiences as mentioned above? There are many rental property's that improved security measures to avoid such. Thank you in advance Tempo at River Park for being proactive!

Avoid Tempo Apartments - Misleading, Poorly Maintained, and Overpriced…read moreIf I could give zero stars, I would. The model unit they show you is nothing like the actual apartment you move into. Mine was beat up, poorly maintained, and full of broken appliances. The dishwasher smelled like sewage from day one -- it's been replaced twice and still doesn't work. Maintenance is lazy and dismissive; they came three times for a slow drain and just poured something down it each time without ever fixing the issue. If there's an easy way out, they take it. The jacuzzi didn't work past 9 p.m. for months until I insisted it was a timer problem (which it was). The gym and fire pits are frequently broken, and many of the "luxury" amenities are in constant disrepair. Recently the hallway reeked of sewage while another resident had their washer and dryer replaced -- clearly a larger plumbing problem. When I first moved in, I had a severe allergic reaction, most likely from dirty air ducts or vents that had never been cleaned. Despite all this, my rent jumped $200 from year one to year two. Homeless people rummage through the trash areas at all hours, and management does nothing. For what they charge, it's borderline criminal. I'm moving out next week and fully expect them to find an excuse to keep my deposit

Awesome and amazing!!!…read more You won't find a better pair of property managers out there. Rose and Michelle are great at what they do!!! My girlfriend and I applied for a 3 bedroom and have had such a stressful time until we came here. Rose gave us a great and informational walk around, leaving us with no questions! Michelle dealt with all forms in a swift timely manner and wanted to also get to know us as well, to send a great background story to the owners! They are up front and tell you all the details and ask questions about yourself to get to know you better. This made us very comfortable. The property is clean and quiet! They now have put (in charge) a fidgety old lady who knows nothing about managing anything. Her approach to Managing the Units is imperialistic. The good, the bad and the ugly. Location is great! Next to…read moreThe Collection Mall and the 101, two great pluses. Maintenance is excellent. Administration keeps the surrounding areas in tip top conditions. Pretty landscaping. Well maintained pool area, exercise room and bowling alley. When we had issues in the apartment, which weren't often, issues were taken care of promptly. Admin would submit the order and engineering would take care of the problem in a timely fashion. Our apartment was small but comfortable and well designed. Administration personnel were courteous and helpful in general but on different occasions we did have staff members that could have been better trained. Towards the beginning of signing the rental contract we had to follow up multiple times with a SM so we could get the measurements of the apartment pre move-in . That was annoying as we wanted to know which pieces of furniture we could sell in our old location if they didn't fit in our new apartment. Admin could have been more specific in other areas in relation to submitting rental documentation in regards to the address to be used where they receive such documents. I drove 8 hours with my car packed with stuff, a cat and a dog trying to make it before office close time so I could get apartment key and move in. To my unpleasant surprise, SM said they had not received the documentation which we had sent a week before. SM was not very sympathetic but she came through at the end. The ugly- administration is strict with their prompt payment policies and that's okay. However, towards the end of our contract SM made a $600 over charge for the month of May. The charge was noticed May 6th. We pointed it out to admin and they said they could not pay us back the over charge until we completed our move out process that was scheduled for the end of the month. They said they would return the money after apartment inspection with the security deposit. I found this action to be unacceptable and potentially illegal. We did not get our remaining security deposit plus the overcharge until July 10/11. That's more than a month and a half after we had left! Make sure you read the contract well! When our 1 year contract was coming to an end we renewed for 3 months. Per contract renters are supposed to give them a 60 day notification of departure. I gave my notice at 30 days. Per contract they'll push your contract forward if you don't give notification with their contract policy timeline . So basically, I was responsible for rent on an additional 30 days due to my late notification of departure. Ridiculous! Considering that we were in a 3 month renewal contract. I wanted to strangle them . That's all folks!

As Domestic Violence Awareness Month begins, I feel it's important to share my experience. Due to a…read moredocumented domestic situation, I provided the required paperwork and was released from my lease at Serenade at RiverPark. Throughout the process, I was informed that I could move out without penalty, followed all move-out instructions, returned my keys, and signed the required documents. What has been upsetting is that I was recently told for the first time that I would not be receiving my security deposit back. I was also told that management had previously informed me of this. However, after carefully reviewing my emails and records, I have not found any communication stating that my deposit would be withheld. During an already difficult and emotional time in my life, I expected clear communication, transparency, and compassion. Instead, I have been left with unanswered questions regarding a significant amount of money that means a great deal to me. My hope is that Serenade at Riverpark will take the time to review situations involving domestic violence survivors with care and empathy. Clear communication and understanding can make a meaningful difference for residents going through some of the most difficult circumstances of their lives.

Worst experience of touring apartments…read more My sister and I had a 1pm reservation to tour the apartments. We had called ahead the previous week and set it up. The day of, it poured the whole time, and we were still on time. We walked in, and a lady who never introduced herself to us came out of her office to tell us, "We aren't taking any walk-ins today". We had to tell her we had an appointment just for her to talk to us in a calmer manner. She then gave us a guest pass paper to fill out and said she would be about 10-20 minutes because she was backed up. We waited for 45 minutes with no contact from her before we had to leave to visit another location. She apologized and told us to come back on the same day or another time. We visited a few more properties and then returned at 4:30 p.m. that same day. She came out of her empty office and told us that she couldn't see us because she was still on her lunch break and had just given a tour to someone else. She ended it all by saying she was too tired to give us a tour of the property because the day had been a long day for her. Honestly, her awful attitude and her out-of-the-gate refusal attitude makes me think she profiled us as someone who wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living or something. I have no idea how she was so busy she could tour other people but not us. For all those shopping for an apartment, beware of this place. Dress nicely, or you might get ignored. God bless that we found a dream apartment somewhere else in the same price range. I would never let anyone I care about visit that place.

4 stars goes to Mandy, the apartment manager. We lived at the Junction for about a year and half…read moretill we moved for job relocation. Mandy has helped us from the very beginning to look for an apartment that fits our vision. She would go beyond to make sure that we were pleased. Throughout our stay at The Junction, Mandy has been nothing but helpful, reasonable, open, and honest. Any concern we have, she takes care of it. Of course there's only so much she can do, but she would use every measure to ensure that her tenants are happy. Mandy, thank you so much for working with us and being very accommodating. We appreciate everything. 1 star goes to the living situation. When we first moved in, there were hardly anybody, so obviously, it was quiet. Until more tenants moved in and majority of them were rowdy, rude, and dirty. No one picks up after their own dog, strange people intrude the property and create problems, and I believe there are a lot or some druggies who live there (because there was a crazy naked lady who was jumping on a car screaming bloody murder, and there's been more than 5 times that 6 police cars would come by). Not really a family friendly area. Also, the parking situation... don't get me started. If the landowner was a bit more organized and thought things through a little, the apartment would have potential. I'm just glad I don't have to hear the trains and hear crazy people argue and scream at 2 in the morning.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Zoila and our entire leasing experience. From the very…read morefirst phone call, she was beyond friendly and genuinely welcoming. What stood out the most was her empathy and kindness toward my situation and why finding a new home was so important for my family. I shared with her that I wanted my boys to have a say in choosing our new home, and she truly honored that. During our tour, she made a point to include both of them--asking their thoughts, listening to their opinions, and showing them around as if she were welcoming family into her own home. It meant more to me than I can put into words. It didn't feel transactional at all--it felt personal, warm, and sincere. The leasing process itself was incredibly smooth. I applied online and received a response within 24 hours. Everything was clear, easy to access via email, and well organized. I tend to ask a lot of questions (just to make sure I fully understand everything!), and not once did Zoila make me feel like I was asking too much. She was patient, thorough, and reassuring every step of the way. The location is amazing--so close to everything, most places within a mile or less. There's a park right across the street and my kids absolutely love it. I'm so grateful I made that call to check availability because we truly found our new home. Thank you, Zoila, for making this transition such a positive and beautiful experience for my family. We couldn't be happier.
