Wow... I'm still in awe of what just happened! I almost never write Yelp reviews, but I have to share how incredible my experience was with Dax and Emily! My kitty Laura had some serious mats that I couldn't get rid of for over a month. Both Laura and her brother Logan are not the easiest cats when it comes to baths or grooming, so I usually avoid it altogether. Then Dax and Emily arrived -- both wearing spotless white coats and N95 masks -- and immediately won over my two troublemakers. They somehow even got Logan (who is never a lap cat) to sit calmly on their laps! At that moment, I knew I could trust them completely, so I let them take both cats for their full spa day. And it just kept getting better! While bathing Logan, they discovered a few fleas and treated him right away. They completely resolved Laura's mats, gave both cats sanitary trims, and even noticed some inflammation in their teeth. On top of that, they packed a thoughtful "lunch box" with treats designed to help with dental health -- complete with probiotics! When they brought Logan and Laura home, both looked like fluffy clouds -- freshly groomed, wearing their flea collars, and smelling amazing. They even handed me a detailed packet: a spa-day journal, flea treatment instructions for the house, and a guide on dental care along with explanations of the treats they'd chosen. It's so clear that Dax and Emily take tremendous pride in their work. They genuinely care about the cats' well-being and treat them with so much love and patience. How often do you pay for a service - even a luxury or high price service - and get above and beyond what you were expecting? Honestly I can't remember the last time. Cashmere Cat Spa is firmly in the "worth it/above and beyond" category for us. We've never had a cat groomed before (they are all shorthairs except our newest "dollar store Maine Coon"). I noticed his coat was not always looking its best, so booked an appointment here. Everything they do, it's with the cat's comfort and safety in mind. They even pick up and drop off your kitty for a true door to door experience. We got texts and photos with progress reports during the groom. And his groomer came in our home at drop off, and reviewed the day. She gave suggestions for dental health and grooming at home. Big shout out to Emily, their head groomer! Great experience the whole way through, pick up and drop off was painless and easy! I got pictures and updates throughout the day about my cat and where they were at in the grooming process. I had some concerns about my cat as she has been dealing with a food allergy flare up, and the groomers addressed my concerns and reassured me about everything! I don't think I can say enough good things about this place!! My cat JuJu had her first grooming experience here and it was so amazing and beyond my expectations. Emily was the groomer that worked with JuJu and she was the sweetest from the moment I met her for pick-up. Juju is very shy and timid around new people, so the fact that Emily was able to hold her in her lap tells me a lot about how wonderfully she must have treated JuJu. The amount of detailed updates and pictures I received throughout her appointment was very comforting. Emily also provided a lot of information during the appointment and also after the appointment. I am soooo grateful for my cat to have this experience and have noticed such a big difference in her mood - she is so much happier today! It's hard to wrap my head around how good this grooming service is. Dax picked up our siberians and brought them to her "spa". She sprayed pheramones in her car to help relax them. ALL through the day we received texts and photos showing us the progression of their spa day...which included rests for snacks and play time in between the different aspects of their service. At one point she sent a picture of one of our cats (who does NOT like to be held) on her back on a lap, getting a nail trim. The communication and pictures helped to ease our concerns thoroughly as first time clients of this service. When Dax brought the cats back she gave us a whole education on dental care, home grooming and furniture scratching training. I would give 10 stars if it was an option. Cats, and especially older cats, often can't groom themselves much as they need, and arthritis in cats is very common. Cashmere Cat Spa offers lots of treats and uses "calming bonnets," down time in "calming cubes" between parts of the grooming, and other techniques to make the whole experience as minimally upsetting for kitties as possible. The owner is also so knowledgeable about cats! She includes a dental exam and last time noted that one kitty's anal glands were impacted, which could have led to an infection had it gone on for longer. She also has great recommendations for dietary supplements to help with teeth and coat health. She comes TO YOUR HOUSE to pick up your kitties and then texts updates throughout their time with her. And you get a full sticker-laden report at the end of it. The price is SO worth the amazing level of service! I previously had one mobile grooming service come to shave mats off of my elderly cat and they were SO ROUGH with her. :( Please use Cashmere Cat Spa instead! Freaking amazing!!! My cat HATES the groomers. We've tried to bring him to 2 groomers and both times he had to be brought home early because he was getting too upset and aggressive. I booked an appointment with Steph in hopes the cat spa concept will make him more at ease. They were so great! Steph kept me up to date with everything via text (you can opt out if you would like) and told me that my cat did so well. He even sat on their lap- something my cat never does lol. After the drop off, Steph went through the whole visit and discuss things I need to do and look out for such as my cat's weight, the way I'm grooming, and dental care. I even learned that my cat has greasy skin. My cat was so relaxed after the visit, he wasn't upset like he usually is after the groomers. I am SO SO SO happy I found Cashmere Cat Spa and Steph! Steph did a fantastic job. My cat is a sweetheart but doesn't behave super well at the vet and doesn't like to be poked and prodded so I was a bit nervous.
