It's a place where you can trade in games, DVDs, mobile phones and other electronic equipment. They also sell all of these things, with some great prices. You could spend £10 and come out with a lot of things if you hunt hard enough. People will so often discredit buying pre-owned items, but for prices as low as those offered by Cex, it's difficult to say no! This time, I just popped in for a browse, though I will be visiting there next time I want a cheap film or the like. I wonder how long it will be before someone trades in an iPhone 4? I paid a visit to Samsung Support Centre Edinburgh after my 8 months old Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge…read morescreen start showing 3 horizontal grey stripes out of the blue (it was a hardware problem, not caused by water/liquid damage or by dropping the phone) I was dealing with Ismael who delivered a very professional and cool service. He patiently explained to me how they can replace the whole screen with a brand new one and re-seal it again in order to render it waterproof. He offered me a 3 hours return service but I choose to leave it for a next day pick-up. Popped there the very next day, mid-afternoon, but even though the handset was repaired they still needed to test it as they had a backlog of repaired products to test as their ISP internet (Virgin Media) had been down the whole morning. Because of that, I needed to wait an extra hour, but after that, I got my mobile back as good as new and in perfect working conditions. So, kudos to the whole Samsung Support team, a big thank you and keep up the good work.

Brief review as was served quickly…read more Any phone issues then seems like the place to come as they deal with Samsungs and Nokias. A few people were in store when I arrived but I got served quickly. I was in about a laptop charger. Staff didn't have it in stock and checked online. They advised me (after checking themselves) for me to replace from Amazon rather than ordering from Samsung as I'd save at least £20. They helpfully pointed out what product code to search for. So, good service and being helpful so I can save some cash. I'd pop in again if I thought they could help :-)

Quite small, with a great selection of phones and consistantly good offers, this is where I choose to come and buy my mobiles every time (and I go through quite a few, I am prone to phone dropping!) The staff even stand out on the streets on sunny days and try and get you to go in, like some weird Spanish restaurant owner on holiday. Quite unusual for a run of the mill phone shop, but I suppose the staff in here just love thier jobs!

Probably one of the best computer shops in the area…read more I had major, major issues with another computer repair shop in Motherwell who were seriously messing me around, so I brought my beloved laptop here, and they fixed it for me in two days (compared to the other shops 2 WEEK effort) It wasn't even that expensive, but they really did save my life, and all of my Uni coursework too. They also sell other things computery, like cables and mouse mats and more technical stuff that I couldn't really explain to you, and do mobile phone repairs. It's a bit of an all round technological repair centre really. All of the stars go to how efficient and quick the guys here were, and they never bamboozled me with any jargon either. Brilliant.
