I had a wonderful experience with Burbank Jewelry Outlet! Zaven and his family have been a pleasure…read moreto work with. They completed several jewelry repairs for me, created a beautiful custom cigar band, and most recently designed a custom bracelet that turned out even better than I imagined. Their craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer service are exceptional. They were patient throughout the design process and truly cared about getting everything just right. I highly recommend Burbank Jewelry Outlet for anyone looking for a jeweler they can trust!

EDIT: as of 10/13/26. Sarah did indeed use the word "fake" because my partner was there with me and…read morewas also upset by Sarah's attitude. We were told a scratch test could be done, and when Sarah came out, she said "we only do scratch tests on items if you want to sell it." We obviously we are there to sell it, as I told the nice receptionist woman. Sarah touched it once and looked at it for two seconds, and then put it down and said, "it's fake. sorry." And walked away. No explanation or anything as to why. I get it if someone is having a bad day, but don't take it out on new customers. 10/12/26 Took in a piece if gold jewelry I found on the side of the road, and I wanted to see if it was real or not. I did some at home tests to see if the piece was real, and it was showing it was. The receptionist woman was super sweet, but the woman who took one look at the piece and said "it's fake." was so rude and condescending. Sure, the edges of the jewlery piece was oxidizing, but that doesn't mean the actual chain is fake. She was looking at me like I had no idea what I was talking about. Didn't even do any tests to double check. Rude, definitely not going back.

I ultimately decided to sell the ring at his store after visiting some others. The process was fast and easy. I'm thankful to Jack for the pleasant experience, and I highly recommend his business!

I brought in **36.8 grams of 14K gold scrap** and was paid **$2,070** total…read more After getting home and recalculating everything, I realized the payout was extremely low compared to the estimated melt value at the time, which was around **$3,264**. That means approximately **36.6%** of the value was kept. For people who may not know: * A very fair/refiner-level buyer often keeps around **10% or less** * A decent local gold buyer usually keeps around **10-20%** * Keeping over **35%** is extremely high I do want to be fair and say this was partly my mistake because I should have slowed down and double-checked everything before agreeing. I had calculated my gold beforehand, but once the pieces started getting separated, weighed individually, and moved around during testing, I got confused and didn't stop to fully redo the math in the moment. It wasn't until I got home and sat down with the numbers that I realized how far off the payout actually was. At the same time, this is also why I personally would not return. An honest buyer who is trying to build trust and long-term customers usually does not let someone walk out with this large of a gap without at least explaining the percentages more clearly or offering something closer to a fair market payout. I'm posting this mainly as a warning for others: if you're selling gold, especially larger amounts of scrap gold, know the approximate melt value beforehand, take your time, and get multiple quotes before agreeing to anything.
