Quick service at a reasonable price! I had my wedding band and engagement ring cleaned and rhodium plated. The result was stunning!

DOES NOT DO WATCH REPAIRS! The old man repairs rings & necklaces, but as for watches, he just changes the batteries out. So I go in, meet the owner, and he's one of those guys that asks you alot of questions, but then interrupts you when your trying to answer them. After the 3rd interruption, I just plain asked if he could repair my watch. He said that he "Farms it out." When I asked then why does your website say you repair watches? His reply, "Oh, that's just to get the customers to come in" and laughs. This place is really small in size with jewelry that looks likes it should be sold at a swap meet. I went a few blocks up the street & got my watch repaired for HALF the price he quoted me. P.S. Replying to the Female Owners response just now. You were NOT THERE, your just doing DAMAGE CONTROL now & as for all those things your business does - LOL. The place looks like the aftermath of a fraternity party. Im sure you'll have all your friends come on Yelp & hit the 5 Star button in an effort to make up for this BAD but HONEST REVIEW. Take care. read more

The nicest jewelry repair shop. I've come here twice for the same ring, and I've been given excellent service, pricing, and advice. I decided to buy a piece as well, and I found it to be reasonably priced. Definitely my go to for all things jewelry. read more

I recently went to Jewel Gallery to replace a battery for one of my watches. Jewel Gallery is a little family owned jeweler that has been serving the Burbank community for over 30 years. My normal jeweler has been closed due to the Covid pandemic, so I've been on the hunt for a place that replaces watch batteries. I noticed the watch battery sign on their window while running errands and decided to stop in. The owners were friendly and had my watch ready to go within 10 minutes. I was happy until the next day when my watch stopped working. I just got a battery. How could this be? Anyways, I stopped back in the next day and explained the problem to the owner. The owner promptly took my watch to the repair station in the back and took a look. After fiddling with it for about five minutes he said the battery was fine and it was probably just a hiccup , which sometimes happens. The owner got my watch up and running free of charge and I was on my way. I appreciate that he remembered me from the day before and got my watch running . Thankfully, I haven't had any issues ,since. I'm not a horologists so I will never know if it was shoddy work by the owner on my first visit or truly just a harmless malfunction. It is what it is . read more

I had 2 watches and 1 small clock batteries changed here. It was 15 dollars for each one. I think it's a fair price since that's how much I used to pay at the mall pre-COVID. The owner was really nice. read more

Fantastic service! Love family businesses like this. Came in with two watches. One needed a new band and battery. And the other needed to have a few links removed to fit my wrist. They did it all in less than 15 min. Plus I scored a cute pair of 925 sterling silver hoops at 50% too! I will definitely be back next time I need jewelry repairs. read more

They repaired my watches with ease! I had 2 watches I had brought to other repair shops and they told me, "These watches are weird, we can't do it. Send it to the manufacturer." I had left the watches for years without repairing and decided to bring them to Jewel Gallery. They repaired them no problem on the spot! Apparently the watches weren't weird at all. I highly recommend anyone bringing their timepieces here. read more

I have used a different jewelry store on Glenoaks (near Buena Vista) for a few years. They are only open here and there and if you don't have an appointment, they actually scold you! Don't TOUCH the glass case and If, God Forbid, you lose your claim ticket...well, just don't go there! Go to Jewel Gallery. Fast, friendly, efficient and no attitude!! The rings my daughter and I had resized were done in record time as well and with very reasonable prices. They care about their customers and give excellent service. This is my new jewelry store for any of my needs in the future! Thanks to whomever recommended them on NextDoor. read more

We were overwhelmed by the downtown La jewelry district and decided to get our wedding rings sized and altered here. They are antique rings which needed a lot of work. One ring had a very high set diamond that needed to have its basket lowered as well as sized and cleaned up. The other ring was dull and very used and needed to be sized and cleaned. Both rings came out AMAZING and look brand new. The owners are a pleasure to work with and are outstanding in their craft. Prices are fantastic as well. I'm definitely recommending this business to friends! read more

I walked into Jewel Gallery because I wanted to give one of my gold chains as a gift to my doctor, and all I wanted to know is whether it was 18 carats gold or not. After they had let me in, I greeted both the lady and gentleman there, took out my gold chain, and asked politely if they could let me know whether it was 18 carats gold or not. The lady immediately replied, "you must only pay for that in cash; no credit card, no debit card, or check." I just replied, "okay; that's no problem". I was on my way to my doctor's clinic and wanted to give her the gift right away, so I did not walk out of Jewel Gallery to find a more cooperative jeweler. After one minute of examining my chain, the man there said: It is 18 carats gold. I took out the payment they had requested, IN CASH, then I said: "thank you", and left. One week later, I needed another jewelry evaluation, and chose Altobelli Jewelry and Appraisal Services on Riverside Drive, also in Burbank, because all their ratings were exclusively five stars. After Mr. Altobelli had carefully taken the time to provide the evaluation I had requested, and handed me back my item of jewelry, I asked him: "how do you prefer to be paid for that, by credit card, debit card, check, or cash?" Mr. Altobelli very kindly and courteously replied: "you may pay for that in any way which is the most comfortable for you." As you are reading this, and searching for the best possible jeweler for your jewelry needs, as well as for the highest quality of service, which of these two jewelry locations would you choose? Reply to Nancy: Thank you, Nancy, for taking the time to clarify your position. I appreciate that. But for the sake of keeping all records up-to-date, I would like to note that for an informal appraisal as detailed as the appraisal of a diamond ring, Mr. Altobelli charges absolutely nothing. read more

I'd never been inside Jewel Gallery, but had driven by for many years. What a surprise when I needed my terribly entangled necklace and bracelet to be teased apart, my husband drove up to Jewel Gallery. I also didn't know he'd been a customer for many years for his jewelry items. I was worried it was a lost cause because these were both very delicate chains, and to make matters worse, the bracelet had a magnetic clasp making it a nightmare. Lo and behold, for a most reasonable fee in just a couple of days, Mr. Hammoudian performed the nearly impossible. I'll be forever grateful and of course, forever customers. Vrej is a true master of his craft. My fiancé and I brought in her engagement ring (that I bought somewhere else) for resizing and to secure the loose center stone. He accidentally chipped the stone when adjusting it (very minor chip), which was disappointing, but we're all human right? He didn't try to pass the blame, he had us leave the ring so he could either polish the stone back to perfection or replace it if necessary. We came back the next week and the ring was totally perfect. Vrej is honest, trustworthy and knows his stuff. We will be back for all of our jewelry repair needs in the future. read more
