I have been using this place for over 3 and a half years, and not usually under the best…read morecircumstances. One doesn't use a payday loan service if they're financially sound at the time. I have always had a positive experience more or less, and they have always been kind and considerate whenever I was in there.
What follows is my latest experience here, and most certainly my last. I arrived with 10 mins until closing, with all of the documents that they told me I needed when I spoke to them about 2 hours prior to getting there.
As soon as I walked in, I was told that i was probably gonna have to come back tomorrow, because she had to leave at 6, even though their policy has always been that as long as you were there before closing, they would help you. I was even told that earlier in the day when I called. Then she said that I needed all of my documents, because I wasn't holding any in my hands. I told her that I had them all ready to email to them, which I had always done before. She then said that the email hadn't been working, so she probably wouldn't get them anyways, and I was going to have to come back tomorrow. I emailed her everything and she acknowledged that she got them, but I still had to fill out the application again, because I hadn't been there in so long. So i filled out the application, and again, said that she had to leave. I explained that I wouldn't have driven down there, and be willing to pay the $55 fee to borrow $250 for 3 days, if I didn't really need it. So, she looked at the computer and her final denial came in the form of telling me that my account was overdrawn, and they couldnt help me, and blamed it on the "system". For one, they never denied me thier services because my account was overdrawn. 2, I had no idea that my account was overdrawn, and when I went outside to check my account balance, it WASNT overdrawn, and it dawned on me that there was no way she could have had access to my account anyways, she just said that as a last stitched effort to get me to leave. I was pretty upset and said some things that were out of character, and for that IM SORRY, but Im even more sorry that I came to this location, and will never go there again because of one lazy employee. No one likes having to humble themselves into going to these places, and to be treated like that only makes a person feel lower than they already do. There is no doubt in my mind that she would not have acted that way if her boss was there, but she'll probably have a completely different story if she's even questions about this review at all, and its doub tful that any management will even respond to myreview. But I wholeheartedly urge people to avoid place that employs people who are so rude and lazy.
