You could tell the sausage was homemade and not store bought. It had a slight char to the crust similar to brick oven pizza and the sauce had great flavor. My only complaint was that my oven at home did not properly reheat the 3 slices I took home the same way as their oven it gave it a "burnt like" taste so I had to toss it out. I reheated it at a very low temp but it just didn't taste the same as in the restaurant. I'll be back for sure, but I'll make sure to eat it all there. lol

Wow, was it worth it! The crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were generous, and the flavor was amazing. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, and you could tell they really take pride in what they do. Even though it's mostly a carryout spot, it was such a great experience to enjoy it fresh and hot. If you haven't tried Alfano's yet, definitely stop by -- it's easily one of Wentzville's best!
