Hot food is always empty except pizza. The wraps are mostly lettuce. The BP near the highway is a better bet.

Highest gas prices around. ALWAYS. Every place else around here is cheaper. And they're not open when the early risers are going to work.

We arrived promptly at 5:50 PM and were told by the hostess that our table would be ready shortly. I will say the restaurant was packed with families enjoying dinner. We were seated at approximately 6:20 PM when multiple tables opened up. While waiting for our table I noticed the various dishes being served to the tables in my viewing area. They smelled amazing and appeared to have very generous portions (leftovers). We were seated and our waitress Dalena M, quickly came to our table for our adult beverage selection. I ordered a Cozy Sweater beer, which was too light of a beer for my liking. Our friends ordered a red glass of wine and a lemon martini. For our appetizers we ordered Grilled Octopus, which was cooked to perfection. For our main entrees, I ordered a Fields of wheat chicken & bacon Ranch pizza & my wife ordered a Margherita pizza. Again, both pizzas were cooked to perfection. I was a bit jealous as I also have a woodfired pizza oven from Italy in my backyard, but unfortunately mine dough never tastes this delicious. For dessert my wife ordered Affogato (which is he go-to dessert) which was delicious. I ordered a coffee and strawberry cheesecake. The coffee was very good, and the cheesecake was very creamy and not dry. We are planning on returning with our adult children and their spouses.

There seem to have some vintage pictures on the wall and the ceiling had a decorative art on it. Oddly enough, there was no music at the time. Sitting and waiting for the food to come out is a bit awkward unless you have some people to talk to. Our server Bebe was very kind and helpful. She kept our cups full and got us what we needed during the dinner. The food was good. I got the rigatoni Dominick which was a rigatoni in vodka sauce, sausage, peppers and onions. The portion size is pretty big compared to other places. The taste was good but I think might do well with either a spicer sausage or some red chili flakes. I did finish the plate but ended up having a massive food coma after leaving. I tried the rest of my party's dishes and had mixed reviews. I tried the chicken parm which had a sweeter sauce than I am used too. The calamari Dominick tasted very similar to their linguini Del Mar without the vegetables and some shrimp and mussels. Both sauces seem a little too watery for my taste. The bread they give you is really good though. It had a very crusty outside with a soft inside. Would I go back? I might go back but I might try the pizza next time or something else. The rigatoni was good but I started getting food fatigue after eating for a while. I really would like some music of some sort while I eat.

It has that true mom-and-pop, local favorite feel that makes you want to keep coming back. Being located right in downtown Cary gives it even more character. The deep dish pizza is fantastic, with a really interesting twist of hot honey that takes it to another level. It's different in the best way. If you're planning to dine in, make sure you give yourself plenty of time. The line for a table can get long, but the staff works incredibly hard to seat everyone as quickly as possible. If you're in more of a rush, I'd definitely recommend carryout--it's absolutely worth the wait either way. A true local gem.

I had a long commute home, so I left it uncut. It smelled so good, I wish I could have had a piece in the ride home. When we finally made it home after his long bus ride, I cut it and heated up a few slices at 250 in the oven. It was delicious....it would certainly be better fresh. Super crispy crust, sweet sauce without the typical tomato chunks like Lou's would be. Excellent cheese pulls and really flavorful when all the notes are combined. (About $23) The signage is not the best at night, so know it's attached to a meat store, deli like. Once I figure it out I went in to wait. The place was packed at 7:30 on a Wednesday. The bar is in the center left, with the to go pick up at one side. The tables flank all 180 degrees of the bar. Lots of people. Worth the hype, excited for the next 3.5 years of my son playing Cary Grove so we can try the Uncle Jerry's hot pepperoni pizza and the spinach as well. Check them out!

This place is how old school pizza places are done! RC liters waiting and ready to go, thin crispy crust, nostalgia inside and great signage and to top it all off friendly "shoot the sh*t" service that makes you feel like you're a neighbor next store. My favorite is the chicken Alfredo pizza! Tonight, I had the primo by the slice and I am not a fan of mushrooms or sausage but I decided to give it a whirl.... Wow - sausage is bussin' and the shrooms were nice and thin with no overpowering bites! This blows any of the places around, palatine, Hoffman, Inverness, out of the water! Run, do not walk.... You will not be sorry!

I ordered a large 16" cheese/sausage thin crust and a combo (no peppers). Also got an order of roasted potatoes. All of this was to-go. He asked for about 20 minutes which was no problem. I returned after 20 minutes and he was just bagging it up. My plan was to eat some of the pizza while I was driving and eat the combo later. I'm an expert at eating while driving but pizza can be a little tricky. The pieces were cut in small squares, maybe 1 1/2" around. While I don't always like them that small, I did appreciate it because I was driving. Anyway, the pizza was outstanding. Good crust, nice spices, and the sauce was really good. I ate half the pizza before I got out of Barrington. I would return just for the pizza. Now rating the combo May be a little unfair because I had it later, and I had to reheat it. It was very big, to say the least. I found the combo to be just, meh. The juice was good, but the beef was a little dry, but like I said, I didn't eat it fresh. The potatoes were a little bland. But hey, it's a pizza and pasta place, not a combo and potatoes place. So go for the pizza, you can't go wrong. And I didn't take off a star for the combo, because I did reheat it later.
