The guys in store are always upbeat, happy guys and know gaming in and out!! But what sets this game store aside from EB or JB Hifi is that it has an blast from the past section out the back :)! Anything from the old brick gameboys to the smaller ones, to Atari or Gamecube or my first console the Nintendo 64. Heaps and heaps of games to choose from and the same with the consoles, different colours or all sorts of different year models. If you were ever into gaming in your younger days you got hit these guys up asap .. even just for a browse to reminisce :D For anything in Gaming computer or console or even child hood favourite or new favourite family board/card games this is my go to place and highly recommend it to anyone i know :)!!

This family owned and operated business has been spreading fun since 1935. It is Australia's largest privately owned hobby retailer. Definitely check out the model train set on display in the window. I placed a pre-order for 7 MTG boxes with this store in Aug 2020 (2 years ago approx)…read more They got back to me a month or two later and claimed the items were "lost" and offered a replacement of a different product. A similar box, we begrudgingly accepted this swap in items given they were trying to make it right. Then RE the new items: delivery date after delivery date was missed. Over a period of 2 YEARS, 10 dates came and went where it kept getting pushed back and pushed back on delivery. I had over 20 emails ignored in the period from Aug 2020 to January 2022. The longer the company defaulted on providing the items the more disdain they seemed to have towards us he customer in answering basic emails or caring in anyway they couldn't deliver. This was for an order of cardboard of $1260+ They never came to a fair resolution. Games Cube couldn't even be bothered to contact me RE: refunding. Money was sent to an old account I had in 2020 and I had to chase it down over 6 months with them not helping one bit. 10-15 of my own hours were wasted in phone calls/emails to fix issues with this non-order. Despite ALL this being their fault and inability to deliver. By the way all other stores had these boxes instock 15+ units etc. This was a widely available item in every other store in Aus. We were scammed, and they held out money as a free loan over 2 years then treated us like garbage and couldn't be bothered to reply. We are 99% sure due to the rising price in boxes they just cancelled most of the order. I've got over 10 years experience ordering from MTG stores for my game group of 7+ people. Never in those 10 years has a company so blatantly and so awfully treated me horrible than the Games cube. It was surprising given I had a history of some orders with them, but alas buyer beware they if something goes wrong they blame the customer and start to treat you awfully. It's bizare and they lack any care for what happened with this order. This is the only business in 10 years I have had to report to WPN (Wizards of coast) & the ACCC and Sydney Fair Trade commission. They have the full details of the scam they pulled on us. The most awful service of anywhere I've bought something from in my adult life. Very pathetic. BUYER BEWARE. They had years to reply to me. Never did they lift a finger to try and make things right for a $1000+ order.

Some nights you can't even hear what the player opposite you is saying. The staff are very rude. If you have any sort of mental illness, or disagree with them about anything, they don't care. They told me that they have banned people from going there. The shop has the bare minimum of each gaming franchise. My friend and I both wanted to buy the same Commander deck, but they only had one copy. Events usually start late, because the owner refuses to use his computer to enter players names. Everything must be written by hand on a piece of paper, and then entered into a computer. This happened at the last prerelease, making us all wait for half an hour before we could play. I tried to explain to the owner that he could just enter names straight into the computer, but he just said it was his shop and he would do what he wanted. That's the kind of service I'm talking about. If you want to eat before playing you are limited to Indian food, Pizza Hut, or a very bad charcoal chicken joint. The place is miles away from Parramatta Station, taking around 30 minutes to walk there. There are much better places in Parramatta to play cards.
