When I shop I do so as with other areas of my life - with passion! I fall in love with a ridiculously priced (for my budget) pair of shoes and must have it - then I may not buy more shoes for another 6 months. I was excited to be coming to outlets closet to home and hopeful that a bargain could be found or at the least a new pair of shoes!!! Did I mention shoes and bags are my thing?? I didn't fall in love with anything!!! There was plenty of outlet stores, David Lawrence, Sea Folly, Converse, Vans, Cotton on, Esprit, Portmans etc..... I normally can bag a purchase at sea folly at least - nothing!!! I was excited to browse at vans - I can spend a whole morning at a USA vans outlet and walk away wanting more - especially with teen boys at home. Nothing!!! Not even deals to get excited about. Converse is probably the shop that offered some good deals and had some not bad prices on other items. This outlet is new, I am hoping it isn't the place to send the dregs or cheap made items and hope they sell or it won't be open long. Maybe in time some good bargains will be born here - hopefully in the 4 shoe stores offered!!

This family owned and operated business has been spreading fun since 1935. It is Australia's largest privately owned hobby retailer. Definitely check out the model train set on display in the window. Tunnels. A city. An amusement park. Ferris wheel. So cute. An iconic toy store that will make you smile.

I am an ordinary but regular customer & have bought anything from model cars, to hobby rockets, to R/C nitro cars from the Rhodes store. Each time that staff have helped me to choose the best item to suit my use, or if an item wasn't in they would get it for me from another store. Prices are very competitive - there's no point checking on eBay as pricing is similar but you at least have good support from staff at HobbyCo. The least we can do is support them. I have even bought some Gundams while in Hong Kong thinking they would be cheaper. I compared the prices Gundams in HobbyCo, and HobbyCo had them for the same price or less.
