That's why I had to wait for today to visit your store) to your store and wanted to buy a new one.I went to level 5 customer service part and explained to your staff and explained why I am here. After 15 mins, the staff helped solved my problem and planned to authorise the refund for me. Suddenly, a lady was very rude, interrupted and jumped into the process. Her name is Srija ( she said this is her name). She asked the staff to leave and she said she will help me. I said there is no need to change someone else since it almost done. The she started ask me again I need to your receipt, why you are here, what is the kettle's problem, which part is broken, why do you think the kettle could not be used. I told her I had already said to the staff previously. She said : it doesn't matter I still need ask you again. I was very upset and angry. Why I have to explain it again since the staff helped me already. I asked her what is your name. Are you the manager here? She said : I am the team leader. I said : oh, okay. What is your name. Why you didn't wear your name badge . She replied: "it's not your business". I told her that I wanted to speak to your manager. She said the manager is not working. I told her that I will complain about your service. She said: go ahead. I was holding a new kettle and wanted to purchase it. Since she delivered the super bad service I left your store. She told me that her name is Srija. And the position is the team leader. I am very disappointed at your store. Even though I was holding the kettle wanted to buy, I had to leave it and buy one somewhere else. She doesn't even know how to serve the customer correctly. How could be a team leader and deliver professional customer service to the team? I believe you will lose more customers.

According to Time Out Sydney, Games Paradise is one of Australia's top 100 games shops, for having the best selection of board games around. I just bought a puzzle for an up and coming flight, and at just $5, the store provides both cheap and fast entertainment, as well as specific and querky high range products - even real life HP potions for mortals over 12! The best part of this shop is the middle aged woman who served us. With some kind of European accent (English, Irish, other, I couldn't be sure), she seems reminds me of the typical Irish lady who we all have living next door and wants to help everyone with everything. Games Paradise Pitt Street is the pace to go for board games, and this lady is the person to go to for advice. If you are walking past it in the street, looking for a board game, bored and looking for fun, or needing a different gift for a friend, Games Paradise is my recommendation.

I had no intended game on my mind, I simply knew that a game was what I needed. The aisles are small and the shop could best be described as cosy, if not claustrophobic. Yes, it is a small shop, but here I am hinting about just how many games there are available. Board games, card games, games I didn't know existed. Puzzle games, sex games, games for young, games for old, multiplayer games, single player games, travelling games, games with such complex set ups that you would need to take the monday off in order to complete them. (And that's if you start on a Wednesday.) There are games everywhere! Games stacked on games stacked on games stacked on shelves. If there's a game, they have it. Well, maybe not hopscotch, but they probably sell chalk. There aren't a lot of places that cater specifically for the board game and all its affiliates. Games are sold in all kinds of places, but here they've all come together in their gamey paradise and I guess they like it because they put up with the cramped conditions. The lady behind the counter was very helpful and eager to recommend to me what game, based upon my needs, I would require. The prices are a little steep, but I think that's just board games. And if you really thought about it. The amount of time you spend playing a game like Monopoly, if you pay $40 for it, more if you get the 'Star Wars - Special Edition' like I did. If you really work it out, if you do the maths, it's actually a great deal. For your enjoyment you're probably paying less than twenty cents an hour. Cha-Ching!

This fantastic toy store is super bright in colour but also has plenty of toys that double as learning tools. Though there are plenty of plastic bits in the store it didn't feel as plasticy as other toy shops. The bright red walls, high ceilings, some wooden toys and multiple levels help with this. Kidstuff is packed to the rafters with tops yet it looks very neat and organized - I was there on a weekday and there weren't any kids in there which probably helps. The staff are energetic and fun but you can still have an adult conversation with them (I've found a lot of workers in children related services and stores talk to you like you're the kid - I guess it's hard to switch over sometimes).

Downstairs are toys for crawlers and pre-schoolers lots of wooden puzzles with expensive, educational qualities. This shop really excels for school age kids though. Upstairs is a trove of board games, puzzles and activities with an emphasis on things that can be done as a family. It's nice to be reminded that the point of toys is fun, learning and play rather than selling merchandise to the latest TV show or film. They let me put a Playmobil Fire Engine on layby here a good 3 months before Christmas and even wrapped for it for me when I went to collect it. What great little helpers.

I have tried the theatre out a few times with a close friend who is deaf. I rang the theatre...but told to leave a message twice....ummm. I emailed the theatre. I have requested the "Captioned View"device and both times there has been a slight problem. They responded with an email that only left me a choice of one time to see the movie. I will persist in getting it right though. Then the staff were most helpful in replacing the machine that was faulty. However in my survey of the experience on another website I did mention that there needs to be more of these machines at any one time and all movies should have closed captions available at the theatre. We only had the choice of one movie at three different times. So I am only giving the theatre two stars as it really isn't being equitable to hearing impaired / deaf individuals. On a positive note the movie was excellent and we did have an enjoyable night.

The main ticket booths are almost always closed, and you get your tickets in the Scoop Alley counters. This sometimes makes for long queues as people getting food and tickets would all be in the same queue, and there would often only be two counters open. Most people who purchase their tickets online get confused and often queue up not knowing they can skip the line, as the sign for priority tickets is a bit out of place in the Scoop Alley counters. If you order hot food, they note down your seat number and deliver your food to you, so that's a big plus for me. The downside to that though is the hot food isn't really that tasty. You can get your parking ticket validated if you enter before 6PM, otherwise the parking is free.
