Since the shop is right next to my parents Gallery my fiancé wanted to check it out. The small basement shop had a really interesting selection of model cars (made out of metal and from what I found out some of them had working functions, like a turning steering wheel, doors that opened and windows that rolled up and down). The cars were all scaled proportionally. From 1:6 size to 1:64. There were all sorts of car makers and models from the exotic to the everyday. It was truly an experience... a toy shop for big kids.

I am often stuck for birthday ideas, but this place takes the hassle out of selecting an interesting gift. I'm sure some of the things are useful - like the funny man cork stoppers or the felt snowflake cut out bench protectors or the crazy shaped lamps. Not a fan of the thin ply wood raindeer heads on the wall or the odd sized multi coloured letters. I guess it's just not my style. I would shop here for my 20 year old step brother who likes gimmicky things or if I needed a silly secret santa present. They do have a reasonable range of products on offer, however I find the shop a bit cutesy for me, it is just my opinion but all the figurines of angels and fairies does tend to suck out some of the legitimacy from the philosophies they are promoting and promote more of a fairy tale type reaction. I think Aromatherapy has its value on some levels and their wide range of oils, are priced reasonably. I am not so convinced by the powers of crystals (however I am a sceptic and no expert), but they do have some very nice crystal sets also reasonably priced which would make great gifts as you can get sets of crystal Buddhas, birds, butterflies and angels. If it's your thing, you will probably be impressed.
