I don't come to Casey's for gas, snacks, or coffee -- I come for the pizza. And honestly? It's better than a lot of sit-down or chain spots. This time I grabbed a pepperoni and hot sausage slice off the rack -- 2 for $6 now (used to be 2 for $5), but still a solid deal when you just want a quick bite instead of a whole pie. One slice for lunch, one for dinner, and both hit the spot. Here's the caveat: consistency. It's usually high schoolers working the oven, and while they're doing their best, the cheese/sauce balance can be hit-or-miss. On weekends when the soccer/baseball fields are packed, I've often found the pizza rack empty -- probably because of heavy to-go orders. Whole pies are the same story: my go-to "Meat Galore with extra sauce" comes out excellent about 7 out of 10 times, but the other 3 depend on who's making it. We got a pizza delivered from this Casey's and it was a thin crust three topping and it was only cut on one half and not very well and it was completely doughy and the cheese wasn't even melted so I don't know if they forgot to cook it or what happened but the edges were crisp.... I love Casey's. This is a newish store, built within the past couple of years of this writing. What stands out to me is there is both an entrance and plenty of parking in front and behind the store. This is a nice touch because with the soccer complex nearby I bet it gets busy. I love Casey's pizza and I love it even better here because this is a nice clean store with a small area where you can sit down and eat a slice or two. I've noticed some of the other reviews complain about issues with ordering through the Casey's app. I don't have the app so I've never had this issue however I will say that one time when I did stop in, I was able to grab a slice of pepperoni, but it looked like they were bit low on pizza slices. It was later in the day, almost 9pm, so I'm not sure how much they keep stocked at that time however with this store being close to the soccer fields I can see them going through some inventory. Hopefully they've fixed their app issue and they've tightened up their supply and demand. Like I said above, it wasn't bad during my visits, but I can sympathize with the other reviewers. This new location offers custom built subs, burgers, pizzas, pizza by the slice, soft-serve ice cream, and a wide variety of coffees. On my first visit, two pizza slices and a drink cost just $5.29. My pepperoni pizza slice was especially tasty, yet not too greasy. The service was friendly, and the interior was clean. This could be a great stop for a quick bite or a refuel, but on my second visit to this location to pick up some pepperoni slices, I found the pizza-by-the-slice cases (which can hold approximately twelve pizzas) empty except for three sausage slices. Casey's in Overbrook, Kansas Last year two of my grandsons (5&9) came to visit for about a week which covered the 4th of July. Casey's had a great combination of large pizza, bread sticks and hot wings for under $20. We ordered those 2-3 time and they were great! After the grandkids left I thought I would try the veggie sub. It was not a subway level but it was ok. Two weeks later I stopped to try one again. The server asked me if I wanted multi grain bread, I said yes. She pulled two slices of bread from a loaf of bread bought from a grocery store (I assume the one in Overbrook since I buy the same loaf from them). This not the subway like kind of bread I.e. a long bun, it is sliced bread. So I thought it would cost a little less. At the checkout I was not given the chance to say anything other than it was a veggie sandwich not a sub. The clerk paid no attention and rang it up I assume as a regular sub. I thought ok and it cost a dollar or more than the last sub I had two weeks before! Three weeks ago I went in to get two 22lb bags of ice. They wanted $12 and change, I left the Casey's without their ice. I went to different gas station/store along the way and bought them for $10 and change. Last week I received a Casy's Coupon for three different combinations large pizzas. I saved it knowing that one of my grandsons would be here today. Around supper time I called Casey's in Overbrook, Ks to order. I had the coupon in my hand when I ordered a large pizza with free bread sticks and provided to coupon code number (not required I was told to just show it at check out). 30 minutes later I showed up at Casey's to pick up my large pizza. A big pizza sign out front advertised a large pizza with what looked like nachos kind of chips for $13.99. I thought that my large pizza with two toppings should be a little less. I gave the pizza baker guy my name and he gave me a medium pizza, I thought. I looked at the order form and it had medium and large boxes checked on size with my name and phone number at the top. When I got to the check out, I asked the clerk how much was a large pizza with two toppings, she said $11.99. She then said I had a medium pizza, I told her I ordered a large, she looked at the order form and I handed her my coupon, thinking I would be charged at the most $11.99. After scanning the coupon she told me the price is $17 and some change. I shoved the pizza back to her and as I walked out I said "you guys are making it very hard to shop here". They screw up my order and except me to pay for their mistakes. I said to myself last year after the sub sandwich over charge, I would not buy food there again except by exception (like today) and I have not until today. Today's screw up means that I will never, never, never buy food there again and am now on the road to figure out a way to never buy diesel there again. My boys play soccer adjacent to Casey's. Despite stopping into the store for pizza over a dozen times, we have only eaten there on three occasions. Three times we stopped there was zero pizza. Tonight the cabinets were filled with sausage pizza. Last week I tried to end the dry spell by preordering a cheese pizza to be ready at 7:15pm using their app. When I showed at 7:20pm the pizza was not even in the oven. I canceled the order and deleted the app. The store on 135th St near Scheels is in dire need of improvement. The location is gold but the staff cannot properly stock the store to meet the demand of young patrons. read more

Went there for the first time I Drive to my parents about the donuts so we decided to go try we're extremely disappointed and contacted the company. They sent us a coupon for free donuts so we decided to give it another try. They advertised even on their board for the cake donut with vanilla icing and sprinkles which both times we have gone they never had. The donuts were disappointing they tasted like they were made 2 days before I will never be returning ever again. I have always had a great experience at other caseys stores but the one on 135th in Overland Park sucks. They need to make changes or the store will go out of business and I know I will not be returning as well as any of my family and friends. They have lost our business. This place is sub par in my opinion. Most of the staff are nice and friendly but the daytime manager ( tall, red curly hair) has a real attitude. My wife asked for help on purchasing some lotto tickets and the manager acted like she didn't want to be bothered with anyone. So, this new store, I gave them a month to get their act together. With 2 tiers for pizza, only one tier has pizza and normally only 4-5 slices and always hs, hamburger sausage. They fix what they like. 6 o'clock at night, people coming on their way home from work and no pizza ready and NO chicken tenders! What is with that. Oh, the response is they will only take 10 minutes! you don't get it, have some ready And as they sell get more in the oven. It was filthy, the garbage cans were overflowing, floors were filthy, there was water all over the floor by the cooler section where drinks are.....very easily could have fallen. Counters and tables were filthy. I've never seen it in this shape. Came for the pizza but then turned around and walked out and didn't buy anything. This had been in this state for a while and the people inside didn't seem like they were really in tune to what needed to be done to keep things clean and customers happy. What an absolute joke this place is. Ordered pizza at 5:45 PM on a Sunday online. Got confirmation email saying pizza will be ready at 7:10. Show up at 7:09, guy (Mohammad) ask who the order is for, I tell him, saying something slightly under his breath like it was picked up already. He goes to the back, does the pull to the side discussion with the guy making the pizza, after looking up at the board. Comes back, gives me the total, says it's about to go in, be like 10 minutes. I look at him in dismay, say, "you don't have it in yet?", he replies no it's been busy and we have one guy. I state, "you guys missed my order, tell me it's about to go in, and don't even offer to comp. my order?". Muhammad gives me a $5 discount, big whoop. If you are planning on trying to work here, I recommend you don't. I was hired for a bit and in that short time my brother went to rehab and I caught bronchitis. I was still expected to work in the freezer stocking drinks, even though I brought in a doctors note for bronchitis. The final straw was the fact that the one day I got to see my brother, I was told I had to work and so I quit right then and there. Caseys is bringing people from out of town and forcing them to stay in hotels just so shifts at the store can be filled, no matter how many people applied and got ignored. I love Casey's taco pizza more than any other, but I'm so frustrated with their service I doubt I'll be ordering it again. Ever since opening, they have had extremely slow service, but I hoped they were learning to adjust to so many orders and was patient. I even calmly returned once to exchange a "taco" pizza that was actually a sausage, pepperoni pizza with taco toppings. Service has not improved after almost 2 years. Yesterday I placed an order online which was to be ready for carry out at 6:30. I arrived at 6:42 thinking I had given them enough extra time that it would be ready or almost ready. When I arrived, they said it would be 10 more minutes. After a few minutes, I asked if the pizza was in the oven and it was not. They could not even find my order despite me receiving an online order confirmation for the correct location. There were other customers having similar, frustrating problems at the same time. I'm sad to not return to Casey's as our whole family enjoys their pizza. I hope they read their poor reviews and take steps to improve service. read more
