Horrible customer service. I get OTC rewards to use with my insurance and every time I come in to try to use them they act like it's a huge bother. They don't know how to do it and they are not helpful at all --today I went in and I asked to speak to a manager and she said well I am a manager and she was so rude. She told me I'd have to call my insurance company. I had the app open and showed my rewards and she was not educated at all as to how it worked. Someone in the store should know how to use it as is a part of CVS. She didn't want to figure out how to apply them. I guess I'll go to another location and hopefully they'll be better. read more

Great professionalism! Went to the pharmacy to pick up an antibiotic for my daughter. Going into a holiday, might have been necessary. We received a text it was ready at 3:45. We were in line waiting (next in line) at 3:55. The lady in-charge informed us that they were closing at 4:00 and we couldn't pick up our script. We showed on our phone that is it was 3:55, and her response was a stern "We're closed! Continued crappy treatment will result in us taking our business elsewhere. Will definitely inform our medical providers that called in the script! read more

I had the worst customer service today with Rehana. Sorry to give this place 1star just because of this employee. I know this place is going to hell and they tried to get it back on track, but no with the attitude to client and talk behind me when I'm not even left the shop yet. I have been a patron of this CVS for 10 years, and it really has not changed much. They updated their pharmacy to add space and more storage, and it still looks like they need more! For all intents and purposes, this CVS is pretty much like every other free standing CVS. Folks pick a pharmacy based on convenience to their routine, and we are no different. This is the closest CVS to my house, right across from my bank and my car wash, just down the street from the trampoline park I take the grandkids to, and most importantly, In the same parking lot as my Starbucks. MY routine is so standardized that the grandkids expect Saturdays to start with going to the trampoline park, then we pick up prescriptions in the CVS drive through (someone in the family always has something to pick up), grab coffee/juice/milk and cake pops from Starbucks, and finally enjoy our snacks while driving through the car wash. If we deviate from the routine, my 3 year old granddaughter will correct me! The one thing that I think makes this CVS stand out is probably the group of folks running the pharmacy. Some of them have been their for years, and know us. They will help with pointing us to discounts and always have a smile even when you can tell they are slammed (like when they were days behind right after Xmas 2019). She said in a snarky tone we are under staffed and hiring if you need a job. She should be fired immediately if this is how she deals with customers. I had a prescription filled for Sildenafil 50 MG, 60 pills. The total amount due was $1745.71. I asked the cashier IF that was a typo. I shared my experience with others, who recommended downloading GoodRx, found the SAME prescription at Hy-Vee for less than $8. How is this even possible? So many questions, but one answer is to NEVER use CVS again. At the same time, I had 2 tubes of toothpaste to purchase up front, and after waiting 5 minutes (because I had a $6 off coupon), NO cashier came to the front. read more

I spent about 2 hours at urgent care, seeking service for my son who was then diagnosed with Influenza A. The physician sent an RX to this pharmacy and I drove right away to to get my son's medicine. I received a notification within 5 minutes that his RX was ready. As I got there, the placed looked closed. As a new resident to this area I was not aware that they were closed by 6pm. I went to the pharmacy desk and ask if they were and the pharmacist said they closed at 6pm, which is a bummer given that hours are not convenient at this location. However, the pharmacist made a consideration and was able to give me my son's medication immediately. I would recommend this place because although they were closed, the staff was considerate enough to give me my meds. As professionals in the field, I appreciated that they were considerate enough to empathize with their customers and although inconvenient, fulfilled patient needs. One of the things I would hope for is also advocating to provide clients discounts to client medications. The medication I recieved was costly and I wished I was able to have had someone in the profession tell me that their was a coupon I could use on my meds ($200). Despite the closing time to pharmacy is 6pm, I would recommend this place to clients, as from judging from my situation, they were very considerate. read more

This review is for the pharmacy at 7700 W 151st St, Overland Park, KS. I wanted to be clear! What is the purpose of having one line for prescription pick up and one for drop off ONLY, unless they pay ANY attention to the people standing in line for drop off. The average wait time is 5-10 minutes for drop off and this morning I had to wait 30 minutes just to drop off a prescription in front of the sign that states 'drop off/walk-in for vaccines' just because two of the techs (I don't want to name them here, just to be courteous) willfully ignored me. Then a third one had the audacity to tell me that 'I needed to move to a third window for 'consultation' so that they can 'see' me' .Sure, I was wearing all black clothes and a black mask and I was invisible standing in front of their own window for drop off! Their drive-thru is even worse. I have been going to this location as this is the closest one. I will switch to Walmart or Walgreens and try my 'luck' with dropping off prescriptions there. 5:59 on a Saturday means the Pharmacy was closing in 1 minute. Our doctor had left a voice mail 10 minute prior for a critical prescription for my 2 day postpartum wife in need of relief. When I arrived I was told that the Pharmacy was closing now, however they had just filled my prescription the minute before. They were able to get us everything we needed right as they closed. Woman at the pharmacy wouldn't fill my prescriptions and told me "you'll have better luck at another CVS" cause they were "too busy" for me. 1 car in the drivethru and one man behind me and 10:50 on a Thursday, ok. Lady before me got a sticky note with the 2 closest CVS that had her product that you went and searched up on your computer but couldn't fill my prescriptions, ok. Given I have 8 inhaler prescriptions that she would have to manually enter in so ya it's a little bit more work and probably titus and annoying but it's YOUR JOB Need to look into your staffing. read more

I like shopping at this CVS for their beauty club. If you spend $50 on makeup,nails,hairstuff you can get $5 back--that's not too bad for stuff I'm already buying. On top of that they usually have an ad out for "extra bucks" on stuff I am buying--throw in a coupon or two and whoa boy! However, I find that their pharmacy is a little too big for me to use on a regular basis. I like my pharmacist to know me by name. I know that's cray in this day and age! We moved all of our scripts to a smaller pharmacy (but I miss the drive through). read more

This is probably not so much the CVS pharmacy at 151st as all of them. I have to monitor the status of my refills on their website constantly as randomly they'll change them to auto-fill and I'll have 4-5 prescriptions filled without my authorization. They also constantly hound me by text to fill prescriptions and change them to auto-fill. I've sometimes had 2-3 times the number of prescriptions i need sitting around due to these policies. They even call me in the evening and attempt to get me to change to auto-fill. Sometimes picking up prescriptions they'll ask me to wait because the pharmacist needs to speak with me and he begins recommending I call my doctor and prescribe to this medicine or that. This is ridiculous as he knows nothing of my medical history and is not a doctor. It's not about health with CVS, it's about selling you more and more. read more

Horrible, horrible service! Our family of five have had their prescriptions filled at this cvs location since it opened many years ago. It sits on a very busy intersection and therefore you often deal with long wait times both in dropping off and picking up prescriptions. This morning our youngest child had her wisdom teeth removed. Knowing the history of often having to wait to pick up scripts, when we checked in at our doctor's office I asked if I could have her prescriptions. (Since pain meds were involved they could not be called in; an actual written script had to be hand carried to the pharmacy). Once she was taken back for surgery I left our oral surgeon's office so I could drop the prescriptions off at cvs so we could then pick the filled prescriptions up on our way home. When we returned to the pharmacy, the drive through lane for picking up was closed due to maintenance. I was forced to park, leave my child recovering from surgery unattended in my car (the patient I'm not supposed to leave alone for the first 24 hours) and go in to the store. Of course, the scripts were not yet filled. No apology was ever issued about the drive through being closed, no, "We will have you on your way as soon as possible." Although I was the only customer there it still took over fifteen minutes! When I reached for the scripts on the counter the pharmacist (tall, skinny blonde) grabbed them, held them above her head and said, "Oh, no. You aren't done yet." Once I finished checking out she, smiled with a smirk and said, "Have a nice day." Long story short, two pharmacists and three lab techs weren't able to help one customer get quickly on her way. No reaction to the current situation, a crazy mom unable to have a visual of her daughter coming out of anesthesia-standing in the back of the store...isn't it all about caring for the individual? You would think it might mean something-my freaking out for concern for my daughter. Nope, just a painful reminder of how I was just another Rx number in a long, long line of other Rx numbers. I'm now done with our years of loyalty and dollars spent at this cvs pharmacy. Walgreen's here we come! read more
