The store was clean and fall festive. I came in to look at the hanging crystals, I love them. I would come in here for other collectable gifts, but not cards. Even though I like the IMPRESSION series, I have a budget on how much I will on a card. Anyway, they updated my email so I will get coupons. While pricier than the average card, they're one of a kind so you're getting something special, making it extra sentimental for that occasion. Their shop features some gift items as well like their watercolor clutches and silk scarves - both beautiful! Also mini calendars and prints. Andrea's watercolors are beyond words. I have a print that I was gifted and my boyfriend has purchased a few pieces for his house. The shop is also their workspace. They do amazing designs for baby showers, wedding invitations, and everything in between. I actually wasn't sure where to find a poster for an event…read moreand remembered this spot was on Monroe Ave. While it may be unusual for me to be on the hunt for a Ryan Gosling poster (no, I won't be hanging it in my office...), I found what I needed here without much hassle - all for $10. I'd rather buy locally than online and it was so much more convenient swinging by here on my way home. Beyond that, I've perused this shop many a time to find cool art deco prints, Rochester subway maps, and vintage magazine covers (specifically love the New Yorker ones - great gifts!). They have some stuff you might not find elsewhere and you can get it framed if your heart so desires. I usually will stop in here to check out their selection after grabbing a bite to eat at Aladdin's or elsewhere on this strip of Monroe.

I find that it's so thick in the air I can only be in there for about 10 minutes before I start to get a headache. I recently had to return a picture I bought for my wall because after 2 months, it smelled like perfume and wasn't off gassing. The employee at the register said she wished they didn't have it out either. I am worried about their health breathing that in all day! But, when it comes to looking around for home decor, this place really does seem to have it all. Love that there's both indoor and outdoor decor available. The prices aren't unreasonable, either.

One of the cool things about this store is that if you're looking for throw pillows or blanket song stuff like that, most things are organized by color. If you're looking for baskets and containers, most things are organized by size. We also have lots of kitchen ware and wall art. There's also a massive seasonal section for decorating.

We started off thinking we didn't care too much about the invitations--because we thought (incorrectly), who remembers an invitation? But once we started looking, we decided that we didn't want something out-of-the-box and boring. Amy created a gorgeous invitation suite and customized it further with a little art we requested. And she did these gorgeous letterpress invitations better price than the boring, digitally printed generic stuff we saw at invitation stores. When we received our invitations, I didn't want to take them out of the gorgeous boxes she packed them in--her packaging alone was Pinterest worthy! I would hire her just to wrap holiday gifts if I could, it was that lovely. But alas, we opened the boxes, assembled the invitation suites and mailed everything out. And the rave reviews are POURING in. I never expected it, but we are getting emails and phone calls from loads of friends and family telling us how our invitations are the best they've ever seen. Amy is a pleasure to work with. I would give her 10 stars if I could.
