The type of pizza you get has more to do with where you are geographically than anything else…read more Minnesota has its own variety of pizza which is dismissed or ignored within the gastronomic circles. The Pizza Factory stands at the pinnacle of the Minnesota variety of pizza. The crust is there for structural support which is desperately needed to prop up the sweet & spicy sauce that is then covered with cheese, toppings, and then cheese again. Compared to an NY style pizza there is 2.5-3.0 times the amount of cheese on this pizza. The cheese is the "writer, director & actor" with everything else a bit part. The weight of the cheese is so much that it gives way to the need to cut the pizza in a grid of 3x3 inch squares instead of the standard 8 triangles because it weighs so much relatively speaking. This is Minnesota style pizza at its best. If you like it you will love it.

Really disappointed! I've been ordering from this pizza place for years and have always enjoyed…read moretheir pizza, so I'm really disappointed to have to leave this review. I ordered my usual pizza..half pepperoni and half green olive...and unfortunately, this is what I received. The amount of green olives on the pizza was absolutely excessive. It wasn't just "extra olives"; the entire half was completely covered in them to the point that you could barely see the pizza underneath. The amount made that portion of the pizza essentially inedible. My family and I ended up having to pick off all of the excess olives just to be able to eat a couple of pieces. I completely understand that toppings can vary in quantity, but this was far beyond what would reasonably be considered a normal amount of olives. I've been a loyal customer for years, which is why I'm especially disappointed. I really hope this was just an isolated mistake, because I've generally had good experiences here in the past. I just wanted to share the feedback because this pizza was unfortunately not what I expected at all.

We're driving through and stopped for sit-down pizza lunch. The pizza is tasty, but I am perplexed…read moreby the previous reviews that say this is a pizza buffet with great atmosphere. This is definitely neither a place with atmosphere nor a buffet. This spot is a walk-up counter with an open kitchen. Seating consists of a couple of mismatched tables in an atrium outside Pizza Pub and a couple of health- and fitness-oriented businesses. Our pizza order took about 20 minutes to make. We received a box with a pizza in it. The pizza box was an ingenious style I've never seen before that matches closed and then opens out flat. It's hot and tastes good. They didn't have any napkins but gave us a couple of paper towels when asked. The restroom was clean. The canned soda tasted as expected.

Sweet & spicy! I would recommend this pizza to the adventurous out there...even better, pair it with a nice CPB from Lupulin Brewery!

I sat on the patio area and although the weather was decent, it would be nice if the restaurant had some mist machines or light fans or something for guests. I ordered my food and was disappointed in the quality. The steak was very hard and overcooked. When it came time for the bill, my total tab was $29.50. I gave the waitress Barbra (2) $20 bills.. so $40 total. I asked for change back to I could give an appropriate tip. Barbra brought back a $10 bill and shortened me cash... the restaurant was busy and I did wait to see if I could get her attention. I did have things to do today so I just took a loss on my change and left the tip. Just wanted to leave a review in hopes of the restaurant ensuring their wait staff gives customers their change! In this economy every penny counts. I hope they can continue to improve on the ambiance and food quality as well.

Customer service was fine overall, though there was some confusion finding our order at pickup. The food unfortunately seemed like it had been sitting awhile, as most of it was not very hot when we arrived on time.
