We're driving through and stopped for sit-down pizza lunch. The pizza is tasty, but I am perplexed by the previous reviews that say this is a pizza buffet with great atmosphere. This is definitely neither a place with atmosphere nor a buffet. This spot is a walk-up counter with an open kitchen. Seating consists of a couple of mismatched tables in an atrium outside Pizza Pub and a couple of health- and fitness-oriented businesses. Our pizza order took about 20 minutes to make. We received a box with a pizza in it. The pizza box was an ingenious style I've never seen before that matches closed and then opens out flat. It's hot and tastes good. They didn't have any napkins but gave us a couple of paper towels when asked. The restroom was clean. The canned soda tasted as expected. read more

Not your Grandma's pizza...we tried their "DaButta" (i.e. PEANUT BUTTER PIZZA!). So after a nice bike ride to Lupulin Brewery, all the bike riders suggested Pizza Pub & the PB Pizza. As I was drinking a CPB (Chocolate Peanut Butter Porter), it sounded like a good idea. It was! The peanut butter was cleverly placed in the pie, along with nice slices of pepperoni & jalapeños! Sweet & spicy! I would recommend this pizza to the adventurous out there...even better, pair it with a nice CPB from Lupulin Brewery! read more

Yesterday we had a Safety lunch for all the contractors supporting our project in Big Lake. We ordered an assortment of 30 pizza's, all were delivered on time and hot and fresh. After lunch one of the crew members made me aware that he is a vegetarian and had ask the delivery driver if any of the pizza were vegetarian style, none were ordered. The driver returned just a few minutes later with one more pizza. This was over and above!!!! Thank you!!! read more

I honestly was sooooo excited to see that they had Gwashes subs!!! I lived in Becker over 17 years ago and Gwashes was a favorite. They claim to have the same bread and " special sauce" however they don't. I arrived to the Pizza Pub to find the employees hanging out in back. One took my order. 3 large subs! It took over 20 min to make them because not only did he move slower then a turtle but he also answered the phone while the other guy did nothing. During that time I watched a guy come in for the " pizza by the slice" only to be turned away .... The " other " guy told him they got " side tracked" so no pizzas were ready! The verdict on subs..... DO NOT CLAIM TO HAVE THE ORIGINAL WHEN YOU DONT!!! Bread is horrible... It is NOT the original recipe! The special sauce is close very close but the bread ruins it!! I won't be back! I was excited but now I'm sooo disappointed! I really don't see this place in business for very long! Customer service needs improving as done quality! read more

Pizza pub always has good pizza, we get Italian sausage on thin crust. However the wings and salads not so much. I think they bake their wings and I prefer fried for a crispier taste. read more

Pizza is best in the area. Not the cheapest but very good- need to shop their specials. Staff is awesome and their delivery has always been on time for me. My friends (promise I have friends...correction friend) really like this place also. I recommend any of the specialty pizzas, they might sound odd but you only live once (I think). read more

I stopped there today for the first time. I ordered 2 large 1 topping, thin crust pizzas for $21 The pizzas were horrible! Both needed more sauce, and the crust was not what I would define "thin" to be. I complained using their face book page and was told that wasn't the place to post complaints. I was neither offered 2 new pizzas nor a refund. I was their only customer so they couldn't use the "too busy" excuse. I will not order from them again,and will give an honest review should anyone ask me why not buy from them in the future. VERY disappointed! read more

I'm sad to give this place a lower rating because based upon their pizza I would give them a 5. The food is great although a bit overpriced. There are always coupons in the mail to help with the cost. The reason I give a lower rating is due to the service I received the one and only time I ordered from there. I ordered an hour ahead of when I needed it and asked it be ready at 5. When I got there at 5 there were 3 workers standing there doing nothing and my pizza had not even gone in the oven even though they had no other orders. The young man proceeded to take my payment and tell me afterward that "someone" forgot to put it in the oven and I would have to wait about 20 minutes. None of the 3 workers offered an apology for their mistake. read more

The pizza isn't bad, but $38.00 for a pizza and cheese bread is ridiculous! We could eat at a decent restaurant for that kind of money.

Our family was having a get together over memorial weekend (this year 2015). We had ordered pizza around 4:30 understanding that the wait time for deliver was about 45 minutes (according to the person who took are order). When 5:30 rolled around there was still no delivery and we called back to ask for the status of our delivery; to receive a very defensive and rude response of, "Well its only fifteen minutes late and we told you we were busy so it would be a about 45 minutes." The delivery didn't show up until nearly 6:00 and by that time I had a house full of hungry kids. I tipped the delivery driver but refused to pay for an order that 30 minutes late and ordered over an hour and 1/2 ago. Of course I received an angry call back about not paying for the delivery but after being treated so rudely I wasn't about to pay. Businesses small or large need to realize that customer service comes first and while they (the customer) aren't always right, they do deserve to be treated with respect. After all they are the lifeline to your business. Sadly we won't be using Pizza Pub again for family events. And a bit of advice -- maybe have more staff for holiday weekends to help with delivery times and order fulfillment and train your employee and management better service and communication skills read more

My first time having Pizza Pub Pizza. YUM - loads of toppings. It's a little more expensive but I am ok with that if I get a great pizza. I thought it was pretty darn good ! I called the order in and it was ready when I arrived. I will be back ! read more

Just had the WORST customer service experience at the Big Lake Pizza Pub. Employee argued with me when I gave feedback regarding an error Pizza Pub made that impacted my credit card. He basically stated that I don't have a right to have an opinion since I don't own a business. I called to share my bad experience with the owner and he continued the argumentative attitude - apparently it runs in the family! They just lost a long-time customer. If you expect respect as a customer, you won't get it here. This restaurant gives a bad name to local Big Lake businesses and its too bad. read more

My four year old daughter and I stopped in tonight to get a carry out pizza. First time here. We ordered a special order pizza(i.e. Half this, none of that, no cheese on half).They were friendly and didn't mind our strange order. Fast too. Will definitely go back! read more
