It was a while before he had room to add me but I am very pleased that I was accepted. Dr. Aung has an outstanding exam/ bedside manner. He always asks LOTS of questions and has a good sense of humor, which I feel comfortable with. My wife and I are both patients of this excellent physician and I have recommended him often, although it may be a while before you get on the list. Redding needs more like Dr Aung.

My previous doctor and I tried various treatments including exercise, meditation, melatonin, etc. only after exhausting all options did we turn to sleep meds. Ambient was a life savior. Finally after a lifetime of fighting to get a few hours of rest, I could sleep for hours. My doctor moved away and I ended up at Dr. Ng. From the first appointment she was judgmental about my medication - she knew nothing about me or my medical history, but right away told me that she didn't think I needed the meds for my fibromyalgia, back spasms, or sleep aid. I was in a motorcycle accident in my early 20s and have major back problems and knee problems. So I agree to drop some of the meds- she gave no guidance on how to wean myself off the drugs to avoid complications. I have been in so much pain, but she doesn't care. She just doesn't want to deal with the paperwork. This last visit was the final straw - she refuses to refill my sleep aid unless I gave a urine sample. The last refill I had was in April for 90 pills. I ran out in October. Six months. I'd say it's obvious I don't abuse the medicine. Like I mentioned above, she just doesn't want to deal with paperwork for controlled medication. My advice - take two aspirin and find a different doctor

Maria informs me that "the ball was dropped" regarding me due to an outstanding balance of $25 from October 2017! An outstanding balance I was completely unaware of nor informed of, that I can recently recall. Twenty-five dollars... I was also informed it was "E-mailed" to me, which happens to be the only way your office apparently contacts people, according to Maria. Well, then, it most likely ended up in the Spam folder and is no longer accessible. I do not appreciate speaking to someone who responds in a very blase' way. I am upset because I have gone two months waiting, without a clue. The meloxicam which I had been on since April, which had been helping, I can no longer take. This means my pain is back in full swing and the pain's return is what reminded me of the elusive referral I have been waiting on. We need to resolve this. I apologize for losing my temper yet if "E-mails" are the only way your office contacts people to let them know what is going on perhaps another method should also be used. Their Executive Director, Kristin Behrens, hides behind staff to avoid accountability and refused to respond to a formal complaint. Nurse Practitioner Katherine Ernest repeatedly obstructed care--refusing to provide letters for essential disability benefits, forcing unnecessary office visits just to refill long-term maintenance meds, and denying basic documentation that she KNEW I needed to survive. This clinic does not support disabled people. It exploits them. Katherine's actions weren't just lazy--they were cruel, targeted, and deeply ableist. She made it clear that my wellbeing didn't matter unless it came with a billable appointment. Her behavior was retaliatory and vindictive, and the clinic's leadership backed her at every step. And when I finally spoke up? I was told I was the problem. I was told to "reflect on my actions" after THEY cost me my only source of income, sabotaged my appeal, and treated me like a burden. I have never been treated with such disdain by people who call themselves healthcare professionals. Dignity Health calls their brand "Human Kindness." That's a lie. This place is the opposite of kindness. It is cruel, cowardly, and broken. If you are disabled, poor, mentally ill, or simply in need of compassionate care--run. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here. I had several procedures done with a referral from Sarah and not one time did she ever call and check on me to see how I was feeling . Yes the doctor who did the procedure did check up on me and I felt he really cared. With Sarah I never felt that. So I have changed doctors and hope my experience is better. I would not recommend paying the Xtra money to go to Wellcare MD.
