Excellent service, not something I find myself saying to often post pandemic. Truly appreciate how kind and even excited to have us. Get the giant meatball stuffed with cheese, it's crazy delicious. Beautifully kept space, it's an older building with renovations that kept its history. Lots of family pictures that tell the story of a wonderfully big Sicilian family. Full of wonderful character and my favorite smell...sautéed garlic! Served with warm bread and butter, don't pass on the wine and your in for a treat, Entry has small but colorful garden, (memorial day weekend), nice big parking lot. Soft jazz plays. My new favorite spaghetti and meatballs!

Went here with a small group for Restaurant Week and had a great time. The food is good here but what really sets them apart is the service and atmosphere. Not only does it feel like an old school Italian joint, but the service is incredible. Our server was very personable and felt like she was a friend, helping us out, rather than an employee of a food establishment. They were very busy this night but we never felt rushed or like an inconvenience to them. Their Italian Nachos are one of the best appetizers I've ever had. There's no reason that they should be that good, but they can make the whole night. My only knock on the cuisine was that my red sauce had a large chunk of tomato rind in there and was a little runny, but it doesn't ruin the night by any means. Their cocktails also aren't the best, so I would suggest sticking to the wine selections for a spot like this. There are tons of great food options in KC but the places that keep you coming back are the ones that help you feel at home and Cascone's knocks that aspect out of the park.

Fried chicken for me and Lasagna with a Meatball for my wife. Amazing!

Other restaurants from my youth have come and gone North of the River, but Cascone's remains. It remains for a reason, and that's because they still bring great food to the table. The lasagna is still as good as it was 40 years ago, with the delicious Sugo, the Italian bread is soft and sprinkled with sesame seeds and the Fried Chicken is maybe the best in Kansas City. Our waitress was attentive without being overbearing and made you feel like you were having a family dinner. I love the family pictures on the wall, because it tells the story of the Cascone family and how much they are a part of Kansas City.

Everything was amazing! The restaurant was decorated for Christmas and felt at home. I got the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken and it was the best I have had in a while! Also Steven was a great server!! 10/10 recommend

Spent my birthday here and it did not disappoint! The inside is very old school which I love about a lot of italian restaurants. The complimentary bread is one of the bests which is amusing because it's so simple but it hit the spot. I wanted to try a bit of everything so did the italian flag. The lasagna was my favorite but everything was incredibly good. I ended with tiramisu which was good but not the best I've had in the area. On the way out, the host recommended we try the fried chicken next time so we will be back!

Food is yummy. Service is great. I fell in love with the scenery as well. 10/10 if you're visiting Kansas City this is a must!!!

While the food was good, this will definitely be a little better ambience with a good crew, soccer game, or weekend. Food was delicious. Pork belly bites were cooked to perfection, fries perfectly crispy, the grilled cheese sandwich was still good even left over the next day!! So, so good. With that said, I took off a star because while it was empty, the bartender was not the friendliest. We were asking about the menu, deciding between choices and he was rolling his eyes and loudly sighing, like we were inconveniencing him. Meanwhile, there were zero people in the other area of the restaurant, and all of the patrons were sitting at the bar. Maybe 6-10 max? There were two of us girls. I'm not gonna say he was hired because of muscles and being good looking... But I'm going to say customer service isn't his forté, rubbed us wrong when excited to try a new place. I absolutely hate including this on reviews. But being a new restaurant on a slow night, I don't like feeling like I'm supposed to profusely apologize for sitting at the bar.

The booth behind us that showed up 20 minutes later was given the opportunity to order coffee within 5 minutes of arrival and we were passed right by. I had to stop what appears to be a manager and ask why we haven't gotten to order yet. During the 25 minute wait a waitress passed us multiple times and a manager did as well without acknowledging our table's existence. I wish I could say the food was better than the service but an hour after we were seated it still had not arrived.

I was so excited when I read on the menu that they had silk oat milk creamer but, the waitress informed us they had been out of it for months. Oh well. The coffee was hot and fresh and the pancakes were warm and fluffy. You can always count on IHOP for some sweet stuff for breakfast and it's even better when that stuff happens to be free! I foresee a re-branding in the near future. Anywho, it's not my investment money. I came with a group of co-workers on a Saturday evening last week for some socializing. This involved food for everyone but me since I arrived late and had already started my pre-party elsewhere - and why kill a good buzz!? I did arrive in time to see the food delivered and consumed and the burgers and loaded fries did look excellent. We started on the patio and moved inside for more drinking and to play pool. The place has all the standard attractions that a suburban bar & grill would have. Pool, video golf, sports on TV, a good speaker system, tons of neon bar signs and waitresses in skimpy outfits. Speaking of waitresses - ours was named Kylie and she was a hoot. A natural for the customer service industry. Funny, efficient and friendly. Would I go back? Sure, next time for food and hopefully Kylie will be our server again.

TL;DR - owner charges for drinks you didn't buy and provides very poor service…read more Owner tried to bill me for 9 drinks, which totaled nearly $100. When I asked to see the receipt, he said that several of the hash marks made were "accidental." My party had 6 drinks. Two for me and four for the person who wasn't driving. The price somehow still landed, after refunding me for the extra drinks I didn't have, at $60 without food. I drank two tank 7 pints that he told me he wasn't allowed to fill the glasses on and she had well rum. Does that sound like $60 you want to spend? The food looked good, but the owner (we were told our bartender was the owner) is clearly a scumbag. It's sad because we were excited for the new karaoke show on Saturdays and would have been regulars, but I don't patronize thieves and will never spend a dime here again. Also, regarding karaoke, there were multiple times where the bartender/owner went and fiddled with the KJ's equipment? I've never seen that at any karaoke night in the metro. There was also a loud buzz from the house speakers all night (not the KJ's equipment). I don't think the owner cares about the success of this business. I think he actually wants to run a strip club, given that he also required the KJ to stop multiple times and let some young girls dance on a table instead of the scheduled karaoke. Maybe this is a selling point for you, and if so, just keep an eye out on what drinks you're actually buying, because if they can sneak one in on ya, they will.
