    A Split Decision Breakfast

This I Hop is extremely clean including the restroom areas. The pancakes were soft and fluffy. The turkey sausage was juicy and amongst everything at my first time at this establishment the customer service and cheerful attitude from the staff especially my waitress Layla was extremely refreshing from someone at 1 am. Thank you for the experience.....be back soon!

Super friendly staff, fast service and always tasty food! Served hot with a smile! My favorite late night meal place!

What's a hungry man to do when he finds out that the power is out at his house? Well, when it's 9:30 pm and you don't want to eat in the dark...I headed to IHOP. It's been at least a decade since I last visited an IHOP and I walked out because they didn't have any pie for a late night dessert. Prior to that was it was young adult memories of sticky tables and wondering "what the hell is a Boysenberry" while admiring the plethora of exotic high fructose corn syrups on the tables. Last night I was the only diner in an empty restaurant save my waitress and her young boy that was spending the evening in a booth with his mama while she was overworked taking my lone order. i felt like I was intruding on their quality bonding time. I mean that's the kind of memories this kid will always remember; sitting in a private booth with coloring books, unlimited french fries and soda and listening to the greatest hits of the '80s blasting from the speakers. Ahh, the high life! My Chicken biscuit sandwich with a cup of gravy and a side of hash browns was pretty average on all fronts. A bit too pricey for the quality but it beats trying to find something in the refrigerator at home, with the light of your cell phone while stressing about holding the door open for too long and then having to throw away all the food that you bought the day before that you will never get to enjoy because of global warming, poor city planning and old growth suburban arbory. That kid don't know how good he's got it, adulting is hard! I took off the top biscuit, poured the gravy over the small chicken filet, doused it in tabasco while covering the hashbrowns with the fancy sea salt grinder that has replaced the decanter of Boysenberry syrup and then a liberal couple of squeezes from the Heinz ketchup bottle at every table and laughed at two of the saddest and smallest pickle chips I've ever seen. I ate slowly to avoid the drive home to darkness and no A/C or fan to sleep with. I would have stayed longer but they still don't have any pie. A waited a decade and they still don't have pie on a 12 page menu for a restaurant that's open 24 hours a day!... WTF! I tipped generously and hoped that mama waitress bought the kid a new toy or book for his next "shift" at IHOP, for me it will probably be another late night power outage before I have the desire to repeat the experience.

I met a group of ladies here for brunch. I got the bourbon bacon jam eggs benedict and they were very tasty. It came with hash browns and they were crispy. The waitress was nice and handled our large table efficiently. We had several requests and separate checks. Yes, I'm sure we'll be back.

The things I like most about Tay's include: the fries, sriracha ketchup, a fun car for kids meals, and of course the burger with all of the available toppings to choose from. I ordered a single with fries. My wife and I decided that we'll probably share next time. We might even get the slider with fries. My son loved the car his burger was served in. The ladies working were so friendly and worked quickly through the long line to get orders placed. We didn't have any issues finding a table to sit. They have plenty of high chairs and booster seats for kids too.

So the food... that's why we really came here. So many people hyped Tay's Burger Shack up that I think it made me set my expectations really high. I tried the Single Cheeseburger with fries, I will say that I didn't find it very special. My least favorite part was the buns, they didn't seem like they were toasted at all. Just your typical old cheeseburger. The fries were not my favorite. It does make a cute date night and maybe late night snack.

I don't typically post reviews like this, but my recent experience with Chicken N Pickle crossed a…read moreline. The service continues to be inconsistent at best--no patio service, long waits, and a general lack of attentiveness--but what's most frustrating is the latest beverage and menu decision. You can no longer order a single glass of wine. Instead, guests are now forced into purchasing a half bottle as the minimum entry point--starting around $25--for a very limited and underwhelming selection (Chardonnay or Sauvignon Blanc... and that's about it). No Pinot Grigio, no variety, no flexibility. Just a forced upsell on mediocre wine in a casual, outdoor setting. Let's be clear: You can order a single beer. You can order a single cocktail. But you cannot order a single glass of wine. In 2026, that's not just outdated--it's completely out of touch. This approach eliminates choice, discourages responsible and casual consumption, and frankly alienates a large portion of your customer base. What if someone wants just one glass? What if they want to try two different wines? That experience is gone. And the reasoning doesn't hold up. If this is about waste or throughput, there are countless modern solutions--by-the-glass preservation systems, or even high-quality boxed options like Black Box Wines that maintain freshness without forcing customers into higher spend. This feels less like a thoughtful strategy and more like a blunt, revenue-driven decision that ignores the guest experience entirely. So here's the question for leadership: Who is making these menu and beverage decisions--and how does this align with the kind of experience you claim to offer? Because from a guest perspective, this isn't hospitality. It's restriction. I'd genuinely like to hear a response from the team on this. Until then, this is a complete veto for me.

The space is bright, modern and well laid out featuring a fantastic beer garden with lots of seating from standard tables to picnic and informal/gather style seating...all with views of the water and the big screen tv they have at one end for all the games! Indoors there is a bar you can belly up to and a small dining room with a few tables as well, and lastly they have a fully covered patio if that's your vibe. We were walking along the water and decided to pop in for a drink and bite. We went canned drinks as upon ordering a beer we were told the CO2 was short, so they couldn't guarantee how things would taste. Given that, we went with canned drinks and a cocktail. With our drinks, we ordered the club sandwich with salt and vinegar chips and an order of onion rings. The food was decent. Onions rings were excellent, but the avocado dipping sauce didn't do it for me as a pairing with onion rings. The club was stacked and tasty, chips were fine, but were missing the salt and vinegar punch we were expecting. Service was friendly, but a tad chaotic. The place wasn't that busy and there were two servers manning the inside and out. We were helped by the bartender and both servers throughout our time, which is fine, but it made it a tad confusing on who we should go to. The space was clean, bright and had a good vibe. Views of the water and surrounding park were nice as well. This spot is one of the first in this area, which is clearly poised for a lot of industry, so will be exciting to see what this all looks like in a few years. Overall, solid visit to Two Birds One Stone!

Sort of an odd vibe the day I was there but could've been just that day. I was with a larger group so it was probably complicated but any time someone would order a drink a new bartender would come over looking around confused like no one could communicate to them who ordered what. They have a lot of different cocktails but no gin ones? Thought this was weird. The beer isn't listed on a menu. You have to go look at the wall behind the bar. Maybe the beers are all rotating? I wasn't sure. The food was the unfortunate downfall. I got the fish and chips. The fries were fine but the fish was a... shape. As in it was for sure frozen and flavorless. I think maybe just skip serving stuff like this and do more of a beer hall thing. I'm sure they're trying to appeal to a lot of people but because it's very much a bar vibe maybe just stick to burgers and wings? I'm also wondering if it just wasn't my vibe. So much like this already exists and there's nothing unique bringing me here.

The turkey was on the dry side, and it was sliced much thicker than I personally prefer. I tend to like a thinner deli-style sliced turkey, so it just wasn't my favorite sandwich. My mom ordered one of the salads though, and honestly it looked better than my sandwich. It was loaded with fresh toppings, and she said the ranch was excellent. If I come back, I'd probably skip the sandwich altogether and give one of the salads a try. Overall, I can definitely appreciate what they're going for. The prices are fantastic, honestly unheard of in present day, and that's the main reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 3. It's a true local spot, and I wouldn't mind giving it another chance to try something different from the menu.
