We took our dog in for a…read morebladder infection. they insisted on running a test that was $250, then only treated her with a 10 day dose of antibiotics knowing that she had crystals in her urine and would mostly likely need an additional round of antibiotic. They wanted us to come back in two weeks later to do another test for $250, plus the basic fee for being seen. Some unexpected expenses came up and we were not able to take her back in. Then she started having accidents in the house again. They refuse to give her the longer dose of antibiotics without being retested, so now our pot dog just has to suffer and get worse because we are going through a hard time and can't afford all of the testing and fees. It's just not right. don't waste your time here, they don't care about your pests, they just want your money!

This is my second time using Northwest Animal Care. First time was a week ago when my dog Buster…read morewasn't eating for a couple days. When he did eat, he vomited it out. I called them right when they opened and they were able to get us in that day. Buster has be doing much better since then with the treatment that prescribed. A couple days ago, he jumped off the bed and he hurts in front paw. This morning, he didn't want to put any weight on it. So I called them first thing in the morning and they were able to get us in right away. Again, the doctor and staff were very friendly and showed my boy a lot of care and helpfulness. I definitely believe we've found Buster's primary care vet at Northwest Animal Care. Thank you to Dr. Lin and Dr. Compton for your compassion for animals. Their prices are reasonable and they also work with you to determine which service should be priority. I appreciate that.

We found Just Peachy Pet Care at a challenging time in our lives, and we are so thankful we did…read more Both of our dogs were elderly and each of them needed special care. Our Labrador had just begun chemotherapy pills for colon cancer, and our Terrier had kidney disease. They both needed extra walks, cleanup, and affection. They also needed each other--they were inseparable. We were also dealing with ill and elderly family members out of state, necessitating many trips on short notice, some lasting several weeks. It was a very stressful and hectic time. With our dogs' special needs, commercial boarding facilities could not accept them. Other local boarders would not administer the chemotherapy medication or keep our dogs separated from other dogs to ensure safety with the chemotherapy passing through the system. Veterinarians could not provide the level of attention and affection needed. And this was far too much to ask of any friends. We needed specialty care for 2 dogs of drastically different sizes, and we needed availability on short notice (sometimes only a few hours' notice), plus the flexibility to not know when we would return from traveling. Just Peachy Pet Care to the rescue! Rebecca and Valerie provided a level of care for our pups that we couldn't even have imagined. Our pups were sooooo happy. Soooo comfortable. Sooooo loved. Soooo safe. And we were so relieved. We still don't know what else we would have done if we hadn't found JPPC. They even surprised us with pictures from a holiday photo shoot. Our pups were each able to stay with Rebecca and Valerie frequently until their final weeks. These stays even included trips to our vet for checkups, tests, and emergency visits, calling us into the appointments to speak with them and the vet together. We knew when it was time to get home and be with our dogs thanks to this incredible care. We said goodbye to each of our pups with very peaceful and affectionate final days, and then we returned to be with family after. We know this would not have been the possible without Rebecca, Valerie, and team. Thank you so much for everything you did for us and our beloved pups.

From the moment we arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and clearly passionate about animals. The check-in process was quick but thorough--they asked detailed questions about my dog's diet, medication schedule, and personality and they asked me about things I wanted him to work on while being boarded, which immediately gave me peace of mind. During his stay, I received updates about his progress with training. The facility itself was clean, spacious, and smelled fresh--always a good sign in a boarding environment. What impressed me most was how happy and relaxed my dog was when I picked him up. He wasn't stressed, anxious, or overly tired--instead, he seemed like he'd been on a vacation of his own. His bedding was clean, his food portions had been managed exactly as instructed. Im glad I found a great place for dog training and boarding as well as sitting in Mukilteo. What is especially great is that during the board and train there are several opportunities where me and my dog can meet up in areas that he's familiar in, which was great at identifying some of his stressors in a familiar environment.
