After two weeks and calling my landlord to try and get me to change this review, Dave contacted me and asked me to take it down. This review now reflects facts versus feelings more accurately. He snagged five dying alders for us. He climbed each tree, limbed it on the way up, and then cut it from the top down in chunks. In our case he left 20-30 foot snags, since we wanted the habitat for wildlife, but he can use the same technique to take out the whole tree even if there isn't much clearance around it. His prices are excellent, and he's happy to quote different prices -- depending on how much cleanup you're willing to do on your own. He's a pleasure to work with, and we'll definitely be getting his help with any future tree issues.
