What a lovely, welcoming place to stay in Cascade Locks. This is a small motorcourt off the beaten path, very quiet. We spent a night in Unit #6 which is half of a building with a nice yard out back. It was easily the cleanest room I have ever stayed in, in any motel/hotel. The bathroom was spotless, as was the room. This includes the baseboards, molding, doors, furniture, windows, shower, sink, etc. Furniture was in very good condition, with the bed being the only minor issue - it rather sagged toward the middle. The windows opened for a fresh breeze. The manager is very friendly and happy to comply with requests. We sat outside in the evening under a tree, around a fire pit and enjoyed our wine and cheese. The manager offered to provide real wine glasses, but we had brought our own. I would definitely stay here again. And Cascade Locks is a lovely little town.

If you are looking for an authentic mid-century roadside motel in the Cascade Locks/Hood River area then you can't find anything better than the Cascade Motel! The rooms are spotlessly clean the beds are comfortable, and the room was extremely quiet. The rooms are non-cookie cutter & they are upgrading to its original mid-century feel. The owners were lovely and so engaging, happy to help you with any questions about the area. WE WILL BE BACK!

This is a cute little place hidden away from the main road. My parents stayed here while visiting my family the Gorge. This Motel has had a lot of remodeling done recently. The double cottage where my parents stayed in had newer carpeting, Nice big flat screen tv and new bedding. It looked very clean and my parents said it was very comfortable. The price for a small cottage in March was around $65.00 a night. The caretakers were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

They have a really nice firepit outside that we enjoyed sitting around while drinking a beer and chatting with the owners.

My son said he just wanted to sit on the balcony and let the views seep into his skin. I highly recommend this property for its location, price, and amenities.

Best location for multiple waterfalls within a reasonable, driving distance (Multnomah falls was about 20 minutes from here in the rain, Bridevail and Latourelle Falls aren't too far as well). Highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again, when/if in Cascade Locks again.

I booked 3 nights and only stayed one night. The place was completely unsanitary to put it lightly…read more The bedding was dirty with blood stains, shower curtain was covered in mold, tub jets were also black with mold, other peoples hair all over the sink and walls, the remote control did not work, TV only had a few channels that were static, and many other things I did not mention. I asked for a refund but they were unable to at the time because I booked with Expedia.

The Bridge of the Gods motel needs to be shut down, in my opinion for several reasons. Mostly…read morebecause the Fraud/steeling that goes on. There was no disclosure of a hold on your card of $100. It was Labor Day weekend, and the nights had already been paid for. Let me start in order of events. Let me say this first, if it hadn't been a holiday weekend and we were in the area for a wedding we would have moved on to another hotel, probably without a refund. When we checked in was the first we knew about the $100. There wasn't much we could do but let them put a 'hold' which actually charged and processed it from the bank account. When we went to our room the floor was uneven, I set my rolling suitcase down, it rolled to the other side of the room. They advertised the following: Free Wireless Internet Available - We were not able to get on the internet the entire time we were there. This was very inconvenient. We tried on three different devices. Laundry Facilities - Luckily this was true, though I only saw it as we drove by, so I do not know the condition. Memory Foam Bedding in ALL Rooms - Notice they have capitalized ALL, well if we had memory foam in our room it had forgotten! They were terrible. Jet Tubs in many rooms - We didn't even have a tub let alone a Jet one. A VERY small bathroom with small shower. The bathroom was scary dirty. There was no place to set our toothbrushes and toiletries on. We opened the medicine cabinet, and it was filthy. The toilet was a round one and the seat oblong, so it hung over a few inches. The space between the seat and the tank was all filled with dirt and hair. It makes me sick to think we had to use it. It said they had a hair blower, they did not. The outlet in the bathroom did not even work. I had to plug my curling iron in, in the kitchen. The health department really does need to have a surprise inspection on this property The small kitchen was okay, we didn't really use it. They only had a small garbage can in there and one in the bathroom. We ended up leaving a sack full by the can in the kitchen so as not to leave our wrappers or anything around. The place was left as we found it. When we got home, I called to talk to them about the $100 it took me and my daughter two days to actually get someone to answer the phone. No answering machine, it just rang. When I finally got through the lady was polite but argued with me about the hold. She finally looked somewhere else and found they had charged us. She verified the last 4 digits of the credit card and promised to refund it, and that I would see it yesterday. It has not been refunded. In my opinion this is fraud and/or out and out steeling. I'm contacted the area Chamber of Commerce about what I could do to get the $100 refunded.
