Recently we had a problem with some venting pipes that were never sealed and leaked condensation moisture into the insulation and caused ceiling water damage. It was time to make this small repair and patch, but we also decided it was a good time to remove all the blown in insulation and replace with insulation batting. Patrick from Sound Crawls came to do the inspection and gave us a quote for the work we wanted done. In our opinion he did the best inspection of all the businesses that came to give us a quote. He was very flexible, willing to do less, but explained how more could be done to make our attic so much better. We decided to go with his company and our attic now is clean, organized and has storage space that we are rapidly moving things out of our garage into the attic. Jesus and Brandon were respectful of the space -- for example, when they had to take down some heavy closet doors and lean them against a wall, they put a cloth between the doors and the wall so as not to scratch the wall. They suggested fixes that in my mind went above and beyond, such as putting a layer of primer on the sheathing to help it resist moisture, should my roof leak again in the future. Hopefully I'll never need them again in the future, but if I do, they'll be the ones I call first.
