My alternator burnt on my Jeep and I had to have the vehicle towed so I called Auto Diagnostics and asked if they could help. I gave them my information over the phone and did not have to travel to the shop with my Jeep when it was towed. They diagnosed it immediately after it arrived and contacted me with a quote. Rick also let me know that if I didn't need the Jeep that day, he could get a alternator for about $40 dollars less than the one available that day. I received a call the next day telling me the Jeep was repaired and ready to be picked up and the final bill was actually $124 less than the original quote. No problem, told them the check engine light was on and the codes were coming back with something to do with the turbo. Roger said bring it in and we'll take a look at it. Well the day finally came (yesterday) and I dropped my truck off at 9 AM. Got a call around 2 PM with what the issue is (turbo actuator). Roger said they could get the part in tonight or tomorrow and get it fixed by tomorrow. Which worked perfectly with my schedule so that was great. I was told a price which was really reasonable for the work that was being done and the factory part. Roger called around 1 PM today and told me that was the fix, and my truck is ready for pick up. I will tell you what is awesome about this place: No BS! Absolutely to the point, Roger is a great guy and knows his stuff. Timeline for repair is quick! At least mine was. Great communicators - called to follow up with is excellent. Seems like a family business. Roger had his kids there and it was nice to see a family run business in Norco. He was very kind but direct and showed me what the possible problem could be based on the age of the car, sound and fumes. But he made it clear he would need to use the lift to confirm. He was apologetic he couldn't take care of it right away due to their current workload so I took it in the next week, and in the same day it was ready for pick up. He was right, it was the part he thought but instead of a crack it was fully broken in half! Luckily, he is a welder and I didn't need to buy a new piece.
