This is a nice rv park. We were further away from the highway, so it wasn't too noise. The spot for your trailer is gravel, but there is a lot of green grass this time of year. Like the easy access from the freeway. Also you get a code to get in the gate. The staff was very friendly and thoughtful. We would definitely stay here again. RPI member

It was at the tail end of winter, with cold nights and wet days. Rooms have gas fireplaces, with outdoor seating and porches for warmer weather. Checkin was great in the main lodge. They had many friendly employees. There's a bar and restaurant here that I didn't have time to visit! The grounds have paved trails all over, with quick walks or bike rides to restaurants, bars, and outdoor activities. They have a free shuttle that can get you around to places quicker too! My room was gorgeous, with high ceilings, wood, and soft decor. The bathroom was very modern and comfortable. Worth the cost. Another place I really wanted to visit was the indoor heated pool area that looked amazing. Maybe next time! For the event we had catered amazing meals of local produce and meats, so many flavorful items. The event spaces all have a lodge feel to them as well, comfortable. I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you're in the area.

We stayed here one night on our way through town on a 10 day road trip…read more Our room was great! Very nicely kept, updated, and had everything we could have possibly needed. The furniture is very nice, the bed was very comfortable, the electric fire place kept us warm through the night and we loved the rustic feel of the entire place. Even the bathroom is nicely updated and spacious with a great shower. The lodge sits in a nice neighborhood a little off the beaten path. Town is a quick drive away if you need to stock up on anything, find a restaurant, or stores. There is a small fridge available in the rooms. There is a common area with a hot tub and a grill that can be used but we didn't check out that area so I can't give it any rating with my review. The owners of the lodge also have the MotoFantasy business at this location if you'd like to rent a motorcycle to tour around on. We got a chance to look at some of the bikes, and chat with one of the owners, but didn't have time on our trip to rent a bike. Our only complaint was how loud the noise is from others staying in the lodge. It's not that the neighboring people are intentionally being loud. The lodge itself just has a very hollow sound throughout and isn't set up to soften the noise coming from other rooms. We could clearly hear others talking, phones beeping and ringing, TV, doors opening and closing, others showering, toilets flushing and just general walking and moving around. It made for a loud evening & morning. We left pretty early due to this. Overall, we enjoyed our visit to the area. It's a very nice lodge and an awesome place to check out the motorcycles. Just bring some ear plugs for a good nights sleep.

I didn't catch her name but she was very friendly. She asked if we needed anything after doing a quick scan of our room and even went to see if she could find decaf coffee for us. Which speaking of coffee, its a real coffee pot with real coffee! Not just the pods. Some stir sticks would be nice. Our two good sized dogs had plenty of yard to run around (we made sure to clean up after them immediately each time). The room was clean and cute. We did move the furniture around to suite us better. The chair sits in front of the couch due to it being a small room. It still worked perfect for us. We sat on the couch and used the ottoman to play cards and dice while we watched a Halloween movie. The gas fireplace in the corner was a nice touch. It was a super cozy evening! There are two adjoining doors on either side of the room if you had friends or family in other rooms. The refer is a good size for drinks and snacks. The bathroom is big with a big walk in shower. Easily fit 2 of us. It did take me several minutes of messing with all the knobs to figure out the shower. The water pressure was just OK. The temperature knob was very touchy... quickly went from warm to hot. Check in and out was super simple. I sent a text to Gloria and she was quick to respond. I am giving 5 stars, even with the minor issues, because overall it was a great stay and we will be back for sure!

The cabins are spacious, beautifully designed, and filled with thoughtful, high-end touches. We always try to book one along the edge of the property facing the trees, and the views never disappoint. Waking up to a forest instead of a parking lot is hard to beat. The bed is exceptionally comfortable, and the bathroom is better than most luxury hotels, with a separate water closet, a large shower, and a deep soaking tub that fills from the ceiling. Beyond the cabins, the entire property is designed for relaxation. There are walking trails throughout, a welcoming lodge with plenty of space to gather, a well-maintained pool, and extensive grounds that encourage you to slow down and enjoy the surroundings. One of our favorite things about FivePine is its location. It's an easy walk into downtown Sisters, which meant we could start our mornings with a stroll to Sisters Coffee and a visit to the local bookstore before heading back to enjoy the rest of the property. The lodge also has restaurants, a movie theater, and a spa on site, which I've reviewed separately. I could keep describing it, but honestly, the photos tell the story better than I can. If you're looking for a place to disconnect from the noise and reconnect with nature without sacrificing comfort, FivePine is a wonderful choice. Will we be back? Absolutely. It's quickly becoming one of our favorite getaway destinations. If you found this review helpful, give it a like so it can help others too.

Our cabin was beautiful, clean, cozy, comfortable and better than we were even expecting or hoping for. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, helpful, punctual, and accommodating. One of the things we appreciate the most is their attention to detail and the high quality products they provide you. For example, their soap is from the Bend Soap Company. Their coffee is from Sisters coffee. The syrups at the coffee bar are organic and high quality. The scones at the included breakfast are made fresh in house from scratch. Everything is top notch, high quality and you absolutely get what you pay for at this resort in the best way possible. The location is also 10/10. Somehow this place manages to be walking distance from Sisters yet still feels secluded. Overall FivePine was incredible, relaxing, serene and an overall amazing experience that we were sad to leave. He also had detailed maps of the 26 mile rides for us and also described some specific areas of the trail. I have been on many shuttles. This review is for the Mtn bike rental and shuttle for the Mackenzie river trail…read more The good: the trail is worth the drive (from anywhere) and the questionable service. You're riding along the Mackenzie river on a single track trail for up to 25 miles. The scenery is amazing. The water is roaring and clear. The trail is very well maintained. I'm glad this business exists and people have an opportunity to explore this terrific landscape. The bad: we showed up and the guy behind the desk was stressed and had a lot of anxiety. It was only us and one other group of two people. We planned on doing the entire trail (25 miles) but were told the top 9 miles is very technical and we should only do the bottom 16 miles. We submitted and said okay. Unfortunately, where we dropped off only allowed for 10 miles of beginner riding. I called when we finished and they said it was a miss-communication on their part and would take us further up. We went further up and did the next 10 miles. There was one mile of pretty technical riding where we had to stop riding and walk a decent amount. The rest of the time was all beginner/intermediate riding. When finished we couldn't call the shop to get picked up because there was no service. We rode along the road until there was service and called and txted the driver 11 times. No answer. We finally called the shop and were informed that "his phone was on the charger." They said he would be here to pick us up in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later I called back and got a lot of attitude from the front desk staff saying "we have other things to do to." Luckily it was an amazing ride. Really hoping they can get their communication and customer service dialed in!

In any case we were led upstairs to where the "bar" is and selected a table for 4 inside, very chilly day for June. Two of us ordered the BLT, which comes with fries, really good with good amount of tomatoes and lettuce and of course the bacon! DH got the Fish and Chips and he said it was good. The other person in the party got Chicken strips when chicken salad sandwich was not available. The bar was tiny, but they had a decent enough selection of beer and liquor to choose from if that's what you wanted. Prices are about what everything around Bend/Sunriver is- high IMHO. We paid about $100 for 4 after tip. Not a bad little place to stop in for a bite, definitely not a real restaurant, but not as awful as I thought it would be given the lackluster reviews here on yelp. The water: When countless people tell you that the water is not drinkable (Potable water) then believe them. I'm not even sure it's safe to bath in. You smell like you rubbed Sulfur all over your body. You smell the sulfur whenever you run the water in the cabins. I wouldn't cook with it or brush my teeth with it. I used bottled water. The shower: Is only big enough for one average size person. The hot water lasts for about 10 minutes and if you have to choose between washing your hair or your body make the choice before you go in. It goes from hot to below freezing in 1 minute. NO grace. The shower head does not move. The shower curtain was gross!!!! Look at the pictures. Orange from the sulfur and pink from MOLD!!! Really, how hard is it to clean a shower curtain between each new occupants! Rustic Cabins: Rustic on the outside and filthy on the inside. The cupboards and countertops were covered in greasy grime. I had to clean the counters to use them. I didn't put anything in the cupboards. Gross! The beds: Uncomfortable. We rolled into the middle of the beds. They say queen but they were double size beds. My husband is 6'2" and he legs went way off the end of the bed, by at least five or six inches. This of course hurt his back. I talked to Todd about the beds and he said they were only a year or two old. Doesn't matter if they aren't flat so that you guests can get a good nights sleep. He offered to send the maintenance man to see if he could "fix" the problem but with all the other reviews that said the beds were uncomfortable, they knew there is a problem and refused to fix it. There are no pictures of these cabins. Red Flag! The cabins are very dark, they are not well lit. Don't waste your time or money. Stay in a hotel which is half the cost and cleaner and then drive to the lake. You will be a lot happier.

He walked all around the campground, following along a common guest trail. When we called to report it (we were excited) the lady told us flat out it was "impossible" and there has "never" been a bear sighting. In 50 years ? I was taken aback by her gruff attitude.
