We have visited this RV Park several times over the years and each time it just gets better! It's in the perfect spot between crater Lake and Paulina Lake. It is also close to Salt Lake Falls. The owner's name is Bruce and he's outstanding! His son is a super nice guy and very funny as well. We had a pretty funny visit one day in the office! I made them some banana nut bread and they were happy to receive it. The one thing I can say about this RV park is we greatly appreciate all the final touches they put into it. It is immaculately kept. We will be back again and again!

Easy check in, the gentleman that checked us in even walked us to our campsite. Had a small critter area that was lovely. Bathroom and showers were very clean! Small gift shop and lovely people. We will definitely be back!

Easy check-in but be sure and pull all the way in by the office. They like to keep the entry cleared by the highway. Clean park with very nice new bathrooms and showers. Mosquitoes are very thick during the summer so come prepared for that. If you want higher speed internet the fee is $2 a day. Quiet park and highly recommend if you're staying in this area.

We had truck problems and needed to get our vehicle to the mechanic. We were able to drop our RV and stay a couple nights. Bruce, the owner, was very nice, compassionate and understanding of our situation. We were able to have a late checkout at no charge. The RV park is nestled in pine trees. Very clean and beautiful. I highly recommend.

Park staff were kind. Nice and quaint campground. We stopped here on our way from Boise to Jedidiah Smith Campground. We left around 5 after arrival for a quick 3 hour tour of Crater Lake. We would stay here again.

Very nice campground! Clean, with trees and paths. Management very friendly and helpful. Lots of trees and shade. We drove through three "RV parks" looking for somewhere to spend the night. They were all open lots with burnt grass or just gravel. We decided to drive another few miles in hopes of finding something passable when we stumbled on this park. I'm still new to Yelp, so of course I checked it out once we were already here, but the reviews here are accurate. If your on 97, drive a few extra miles or stop a bit sooner for this park. It is well worth it! The next passable RV park is in Sisters Oregon.

Big Pines RV Park is a jewel! We felt we were in remote woods, but had amenities. WIFI is great. The treed sites are spacious. This park is exceptionally clean. The whole experience was enhanced by the hospitality of the owners, Bruce and Donna. Crater Lake is a 50 mile drive to the North entrance. The SaltCreek Falls is another awesome site to see. A memorable time.

August 26-29, 2025 - La Pine, OR…read more We've stayed at La Pine Campground a few times over the years, and each visit reminds us why we keep coming back. The campground is divided into three loops, each with its own character. The North Loop offers water and electric hookups, with sites that are more widely spaced than the others--something I really appreciate. That extra room makes it feel quieter and more private, and it's probably where we'll book our next stay. The Middle Loop has full hookups, while the South Loop is the busiest, featuring full hookups as well as some cabins. . There are many hiking/cycling trails (dog-friendly), and the Deschutes River runs through the campground. There is a short hike to a waterfall, and a large dog park. Unfortunately, we were a bit restricted in our outdoor activities because of the smoke from the two fires in the area. There was actually ash falling on one of the days. Also, there had been several sightings of a mountain lion in the area, so that added a bit of caution to our activities. Nevertheless, we will definitely come back.

We just stayed one night, right before the campgrounds closed for the year. The grounds were nicely…read moremaintained, and we enjoyed a very peaceful and quiet stay. Some sites are fairly tight, while others had some nice room. The trails here were very enjoyable. Serene surroundings around the river and through the trees. We saw lots of deer, birds, and other critters scrambling about. I'm sure it would've had a slightly different feel during peak season, but we very much enjoyed our night and day of off season.

August 30 - Sept 3, 2025 - Diamond Lake, Oregon…read more We've stayed at this RV park several times, and like many others, it really helps to know the layout ahead of time--some sites are definitely better than others. I studied the campground map and chose what looked like a great spot: spacious, tucked in the back, and away from the road. Unfortunately, it turned out to be very unlevel with a noticeable slope. We had to use levelers on one side and add blocks under the jacks. Not exactly the most stable setup, but we managed to make it work. There are plenty of campgrounds in this area, but if you want hookups, the options are limited. That's one of the reasons we return to this park--it's right across the road from Diamond Lake, just a short drive to Crater Lake, close to the Rogue River Gorge, and within easy reach of several waterfalls. The location makes it a convenient base for exploring the region. Be aware there's no cell service at the campground. We found a signal only by walking over to the pizza restaurant across the street, which, as it turns out, also serves pretty good pizza. One of our favorite evening activities was simply sitting at our campsite at dusk and watching the bats swoop around for dinner--a fun and memorable way to end the day. Overall, while the uneven sites can be a challenge, the location and surroundings make this RV park a solid choice, and we'll likely return again.

I was very impressed already.! we drove in , I was like wow this Rv Park is really clean, picked up our stuff at the door as it was after hours, easy to find our site plugged in for the night spacious site as we're towing a trailer behind our camper van, and nice picnic tables, well groomed lawn, I only wish I had booked a few more days here! It's the first part of May, Mother's Day weekend, I was really surprised at how cheap it was to stay here for one night, now I'm curious about the summer prices, this place is beautiful! I was really impressed the next morning as we're leaving, not finding a place to put our trash, and a guy in the golf cart gave us a trash bag and he took our trash from us as they have curbside trash service, now this is super nice! I think this is the nicest park we have ever been to and we have camp for the last 30-40 years! after we hooked up and everything we took our little dog out for a walk to see the area, and then we saw this log cabin and I thought oh wow, that's a nice place to stay, but I didn't see any markings on it so we walked in a little further and it's the restroom in the showers, this place is spotless, I took a shower in my RV, but I kind of almost wished I would've tried out their showers because this place is so spotless! I will definitely be back to be able to stay a little longer and enjoy the pool with the spa and some downtime, thank you for a very nice place!

What we didn't expect was the absolutely first class experience of staying at this true RV resort! We arrived on a hot summer day, covered in dust from our forest adventures, and were glad that we could check in a bit early (we'd called from town and yes, our spot was already clean and available). Upon checking in at their extremely well-appointed (and very friendly) from office, we were guided to our site by a nice gentleman in a golf cart. He showed us around the site, including locating all of the plug-ins and informing us about when the lawn is watered daily so we could avoid being sprayed. He also told us about a few great perks, like just leaving your trash or recycling at the end of the campsite and it would be picked up hourly. Or the fact that their well-appointed on-site grocery store would deliver ice, beer, or pretty much anything you wanted to your site free of charge! Besides the over-the-top service, this resort is absolutely beautiful. There's a reason "garden" is in their name. The roadways were lined with all sorts of well-groomed plants and beautiful, blooming flowers. And there were constantly maintenance people around pruning, trimming, mowing, and just taking darned good care of the place. The resort also features a pool (which we didn't have a chance to enjoy), and (in addition to the well-stocked grocery store) an equally impressive RV parts shop and large gift/souvenir area as well. The only improvement I would personally make to this park is to offer some sort of shuttle to town, especially when there are events. But that's a minor critique as the location is just perfectly situated between Sisters and Bend, and within a few minutes drive of recreational opportunities and plenty of food. Highly, highly recommend staying here!
