We spent two days here (came in Friday early afternoon and left Sunday late morning) with our family for a family reunion. We had a blast, and the kids LOVED the swimming pool. The staff were friendly, and they did a great job of keeping the place clean. Our sites were large enough for our group to have some space for running and playing. The train was loud at first, but on day and night two, we were so tired we slept right through it. My chief complaint was that we had one child in our group who was handicapped (has seizures and has difficulty walking), and they would not let her use the handicapped bathrooms. Otherwise, it was a great place to stay.

I love the remodels ! My favorite campground just got better ! Store is great and affordable, cabins feel, smell, and look clean. Friendly staff all over ! So much fun for the family ! #Iwouldratherbeatcascadelockskoa !! Can't wait for next time !!

Stayed here one night on our way from the Oregon coast back to Boise. Sites are very well shaded in the forest. Service is great from staff. Sites are easy to pull into.

This is our second stay and I'm leaving a five-star rating regardless of the noise as seen in other reviews. This has been one of our favorite KOA's. It's a few minutes from town and the bridge of the gods. The drive to hood river was roughly 20 minutes where you can enjoy the fruit loop scenic drive with orchards, wineries, and fun little shops. They do have a hot tub that is in need of replacing but if you just need a quick soak it does the job. The service is always exceptional! The little shop is just cute! The train does honk but for safety because you can walk across the tracks and access the river. In the summer you'll find wild blackberries along the river, so delicious! If you're like us, we like to explore so spending all day at camp wasn't for us so the noise didn't bother us. Note that the spots are spacious but the grounds are heavily treed so be prepared for backup/pulling in. They do escort and assist you with getting into your site. Hope this helps fellow yelp addicts, safe travels!

I had better views and a more quiet night at some Walmart parking lots. Right on super busy road and sounds like a train goes right through it as well. Pool and jacuzzi do not work. There is a reason they turned off comments on the KOA app. Corporate needs to visit this location. Not KOA STANDARD at all

$1.99 pancakes. Nice to see KOA supports the environment by exclusively using styrofoam and plastic.

What a nightmare! At $30/ night, this campground is literally adjacent to railroad tracks. The trains did not run during the day so I wasn't expecting to hear much at night. Boy, was I wrong! There is a freight train at least every 30 mins and they thoroughly enjoy blowing their horns. It is impossible to sleep at this place. No amount of wifi can make up for it. Worst camping experience ever! Whomever built a campsite here is an idiot.

Park is located right on top of railroad tracks with freight trains going through all night long blowing their horns. The park itself is okay. Hookups were all in the front of the RV which is a hassle. Water pipes are old galvanized steel and need to be replaced. Staff is friendly but nightly rates are a little high in my opinion.

We camped here, and the showers were hot and the laundry was speedy.

This appears to be a cute/nice place as you check in. A bit of an incline walking up to check in…read moreand quite steep walking back to the truck. Husband put on the emergency brake when I went in and to get to our site, it WAS REALLY STEEP down the hill. At the bottom of the HILL you needed to make a sharp turn into your row. Sites are close together when you get to your space, no picnic benches, no pool/hot tub, okay laundry room and the bathroom/showers were dirty. No road noise just sirens. Lots of long term RV's staying at the park. Absolutely NO BIKE RIDING...... People not from the park are walking on the riverfront walkway which is separated by a two foot fence.(They can just hop over that short wood fence! I realize that this park is in the "Portland/Metro area BUT this park was the most expensive park so far on this 2025 trip with no amenities. The road up the hill to get out of the park is steep and you can only turn right (we needed to go left) so we needed to go right about 2 miles before we could make make a U-TURN! Staff very friendly but I will never return because of the reasons listed.

We made the drive from Missoula in one day vs. two, so we came into Beaverton, OR a day early. On…read morethe way we were searching a bunch of RV site apps for a good spot that would have an opening that evening. Slim pickings. I turned to my trusty Yelp and found Roamer's Rest RV Park. They had "one spot left" so we took it. It was about 20 min away from my Nephew's house in Beaverton, but we needed a spot and it was late and Yelp reviews were positive. We had no expectations so when we arrived (late), we were pleased by the nice touches at the managers office. Flowers, clear signage, and our packet on the door. Our pull through site was easy to find and easy to access. We were under a big light which provided great light for our domino game. But we did have to cover up our ceiling vents at night to sleep. It wasn't too big a deal. Since we were an end unit we had a bit more lawn to relax on. Rather than moving closer to my nephews house for night 2 we asked to extend here for a second night. They made the accommodation for us by redirecting the next nights guest to a different slip. Very kind. We met some of the neighbors. And we took advantage of the washers and dryers and showers. We were able to show up at my nephews house all clean for his family. I asked the "manager" at the office if the "owner" owned multiple RV parks. Turns out she was the owner's wife. This was their only RV Park. They started it from scratch. Her husband bought an old defunct place on the river and over time turned it into a super clean, very well run RV park. The Stalls look a little close in pictures but there was plenty of room and everyone gets lawn. And, they're on the Tualatin River. I was told that "Tualatin" means "slow moving water" or something close in the Native American language. Overall a great stay. Loved the husband - wife ownership. And the fact they have had the same maintenance and groundskeeper since the beginning. That shows "good people". Definitely Recommended.
