Timberlake Campground and RV Park - TL Camp Store

Timberlake Campground and RV Park

Staff, owners, very friendly helpful, park is beautiful, well maintained, roads are gravel but…read moresmooth well maintained, sites are average sized width, ample enough to easily walk around with slides on both sides out. , site long enough could have stayed hooked up. (truck trailer just shy of 60 ft) site was spotless, and well graveled level. Sites on forested side are cut into the hillside, but cut at an angle from the main road that are easy to back in, just using mirrors, no spotter needed. No off air TV reception, had no problem connecting to WiFi, cell reception. Lots of foliage, birds, etc it was our 29th anniversary, the owners where willing to direct/assist with making sure the delivery driver found our sight. (flowers n basket for wife). the only negatives, I would say are minor, and probably more of my personal preference item: * i like to choose my own site not be assigned, that being said i asked for a wooded, isolated sight,, got wooded and in an area we would have to our self for 4 of our 5 nights, and really enjoyed the sight chosen for us. (we try to isolate we have a dog who barks too much). *i don't like having to pay for showers, the hassle of having to have quarters, i feel like at a certain price point it should be included. * i would prefer to have a private changing area, for privacy and to keep an eye on my stuff. ( i know nobody wants my dirty socks and boxers) the shower timers are accurate or slightly generous, water was hot, bathroom was not drafty, and everything was clean. We camped at Timberlake Campground & RV in a Travel Trailer

Super clean super quiet. Hardly saw anyone come out of their RV's litterally " quiet as a church…read more lots of good shade and clean bathrooms and showers . Great tent areas but RV CAMPING IS CRAZY! Many of the sites have VERY STEEP approaches no pull thru sites that I could see. Hoped for a lake ( Timberlake) or a stream or hiking. we have a 22ft trailer and big diesel 4wd and in low range it was difficult to get in site 32. $154 for two nights. well organized great office staff but would not go back unless their was absolutely nothing else available. They did inform us before hand fwd would be required to get in the site. Most of the sites were the same . Down by the office there were long timers camped right next to each other.

This appears to be a cute/nice place as you check in. A bit of an incline walking up to check in…read moreand quite steep walking back to the truck. Husband put on the emergency brake when I went in and to get to our site, it WAS REALLY STEEP down the hill. At the bottom of the HILL you needed to make a sharp turn into your row. Sites are close together when you get to your space, no picnic benches, no pool/hot tub, okay laundry room and the bathroom/showers were dirty. No road noise just sirens. Lots of long term RV's staying at the park. Absolutely NO BIKE RIDING...... People not from the park are walking on the riverfront walkway which is separated by a two foot fence.(They can just hop over that short wood fence! I realize that this park is in the "Portland/Metro area BUT this park was the most expensive park so far on this 2025 trip with no amenities. The road up the hill to get out of the park is steep and you can only turn right (we needed to go left) so we needed to go right about 2 miles before we could make make a U-TURN! Staff very friendly but I will never return because of the reasons listed.

We made the drive from Missoula in one day vs. two, so we came into Beaverton, OR a day early. On…read morethe way we were searching a bunch of RV site apps for a good spot that would have an opening that evening. Slim pickings. I turned to my trusty Yelp and found Roamer's Rest RV Park. They had "one spot left" so we took it. It was about 20 min away from my Nephew's house in Beaverton, but we needed a spot and it was late and Yelp reviews were positive. We had no expectations so when we arrived (late), we were pleased by the nice touches at the managers office. Flowers, clear signage, and our packet on the door. Our pull through site was easy to find and easy to access. We were under a big light which provided great light for our domino game. But we did have to cover up our ceiling vents at night to sleep. It wasn't too big a deal. Since we were an end unit we had a bit more lawn to relax on. Rather than moving closer to my nephews house for night 2 we asked to extend here for a second night. They made the accommodation for us by redirecting the next nights guest to a different slip. Very kind. We met some of the neighbors. And we took advantage of the washers and dryers and showers. We were able to show up at my nephews house all clean for his family. I asked the "manager" at the office if the "owner" owned multiple RV parks. Turns out she was the owner's wife. This was their only RV Park. They started it from scratch. Her husband bought an old defunct place on the river and over time turned it into a super clean, very well run RV park. The Stalls look a little close in pictures but there was plenty of room and everyone gets lawn. And, they're on the Tualatin River. I was told that "Tualatin" means "slow moving water" or something close in the Native American language. Overall a great stay. Loved the husband - wife ownership. And the fact they have had the same maintenance and groundskeeper since the beginning. That shows "good people". Definitely Recommended.

Not sure if there has been a huge clean up in the last few weeks but I did not have the experience…read moreexpressed in some recent reviews about trash, etc... park was clean, did have many long term residents but lots were all tidy. It is pretty typical of all TT parks. It did have lovely green areas with a little pond and nice playground for kids. The drawbacks are that it is on a busy street with lots of traffic noise and in the flight path for PDX so also a lot of noise from planes, making sleep difficult. We were adjacent to the road and I suspect the lower lot is a but quieter.

This was, by far, the worst. The facility was filthy. Large garbage bags of trash were in our site when we arrived and still there when we left. A baby's pacifier, broken toys and other garbage on grounds. There was a broken light post with exposed electrical wires and, clearly, had been that way for some time. Men's bathroom was without toilet paper. The picnic table was so old and decayed I would never sit on it. We reserved and received confirmation for a pull-through site but got a back-in. The person checking us in didn't care. She first asked me where I made my reservation. I told her it was on their website. She showed little interest and made no effort to correct the issue. We originally planned on a 4 night stay but left after 2. I called the front desk shortly after we checked in to inform them we would be leaving 2 days early and requested a refund for the 2 unused nights. She said I would have to speak to the manager, who wasn't there. Unfortunately, I was never able to connect with them before we left. I never received a refund. I will never go back, nor should anyone else, unless a complete overhaul is made.

Silver Spur RV Park, Silverton, OR August 22-26, 2025…read more This is our 3rd time here over the course of the last 7 years. It's not my favorite RV park, but it's better than most and works pretty well for our needs. The RV Park is right next to the main highway coming into town that can get pretty busy at times, hence, noise. It seems like the park has gone downhill a little. The sewer hook up for my site was broken. I managed dumping our tanks without making a mess, but it should have been repaired. The WiFi is next to useless. Cell coverage for Verizon was pretty bad too. But Silver Spur is really the only game in town. It is nice to be very close to the main town of Silverton, which has a nice brewery and tap house, along with nice shops. It's about a mile away from The Oregon Gardens, which is a true gem that must be visited. Mount Angel (with Abby, sausage company, and brewery) is about 6 miles away and Vitis Winery is also close by. Silver Falls State Campground and Park is about a half hour away, but it's almost impossible to get a site there during the summer season. I understand they do have hook ups. That park's trails and waterfalls are also a must. Silver Spur park has gravel roadways and sites. It has full hook ups (electricity a must for air conditioning on 102 degree days with 70% humidity), a swimming pool and jacuzzi, nice club house with game room - pool table, foosball, TV, etc.,laundry area, dog area, kid play area, and propane refill. They'll drive a cart to your spot to pick up your 6 gallon tanks to refill them for you. The staff are friendly and helpful. Check in is Smooth.
