We have been going to cascade for 6 years now, and their care is amazing. And consistent. And kind. We had a 27 year old and 16 year old cat that got excellent care in their final years, and now we have 2 kittens (omg) and are again receiving excellent, consistent care and kindness for Snoop Dogg and Martha. Thank you to the crew at Cascade!

So we've been here a handful of times now so I feel confident in leaving a review. We had previously went to a vet in Renton because it was recommended to us but we quickly realized that place was garbage. Anyway, I did some research and found Cascade Heights. We were able to get an appointment within the same week for our new pup who was experiencing diarrhea Dr. Tran was super thorough and listened to our concerns-- she wanted us to test for parvo because he was a new pup but I didn't feel like it was worth the $80+ since it was likely he just had worms. She agreed to test his poop for all the parasites before testing for parvo and luckily we found he had Giardia cysts. She didn't try to up sell us on anything we didn't absolutely need. Every time we've taken our pup in, the staff is super warm and friendly with us. I would 100% recommended Cascade Heights to anyone who lives on the west side!

Support your Local Businesses!!! Would I go back? YES Good customer service? Yes Pros - Over-the-phone friendly customer service - In office has friendly customer service - waiting area was clean, no smell from past animals - coffee! In waiting area - Vets are super friendly and willing to answer questions, concerns, and didn't "push" treatments or procedure. - Vets consult with one another, team work! Cons - patient room had a slight odar of clean chemicals, perhaps dirty mop White Center finally has a great veterinary! When I first got my American Eskimo I was driving from White Center to Bellevue to another (great) veterinary, but the drive was simply becoming too far. Thankful this place opened up close to home. I am for sure a returning customer!

I picked Cascade Heights Veterinary Center because of the great reviews that it had on yelp, and I am happy to say that it was the right choice! My dog is a rescue and can be very skittish in new surroundings with people that she doesn't know, especially in enclosed places like the doctor's office. I did a bit of research to try and find the right place that I thought would be the most convenient for her and affordable for myself! We headed in for an appointment as she needed to get a series of routine checkup shots and a parasite screening. Dr. Paulson was fantastic. I had recently relocated to the Seattle area and had a lot of questions about moving from the mountains to the city affecting my dog's exercise, my dog's diet and activity, and several other things regarding her general health. She took the time to explain everything and was much more thorough than any other doctor I have taken my dog to. All in all we were probably there for about 45 minutes, and my dog loved her! I also appreciated that they were able to contact our previous home veterinary center to obtain health records, as I couldn't seem to find them after the move. I would definitely recommend this vet clinic! They also mentioned that they are having wine and doggy events coming up this summer, so I can't wait to see what all that entails!! :)

No other vet has been able to calm her down like she has (with no medication). She is very knowledgeable with feline health and really takes the time to talk to you about issues and medical history to get the full picture. I also really like her staff and they've always been super helpful getting me in to see Dr. Castor sooner if they can see in my notes that it is rather urgent. I live on the other side of town and it's not the most convenient, but we do what is necessary for one of the best cat vets in Seattle.

We got lucky and found a parking spot up front (kind of a tight spot), but if you're not as lucky, street parking is available. When we first walked in, what we noticed most was that it was quiet and peaceful. Our cat who is a nervous kitty out of the house seemed calm and just took in her surroundings. We sat in the waiting area with the clinic cat who was so open to belly rubs :) The exam room was small, but has a bench for sitting that can only fit 1-2 people comfortably. Our kitty immediately took to hiding, but the staff were very gentle with scooping her out from under for the exam. She received two vaccines and Dr. Aimee was quick and our cat seemed very comfortable hanging out in her lap during the exam. She answered all of our questions and we were happy with the care our cat received :)

Dr. Bridge had the hard task of helping us in with end of life care for two senior dogs (2015, and 2019) and along with the staff made 2 of the hardest days of our life as soft and cared for as possible. Both Dr. Bridge and Dr. Carson have been communicative and caring and we will continue to recommend LUVC for all animal parents! :) our current pack LOVES going into the vet and that says something more than I can!

I started visiting this vet because they offered folks who work at Amazon a discount. Do not fall for that trap. I had a dog who had seizures. I needed to pick up levitiracetum and apoquel for her regularly. (1) this vet has an online clinic they probably have a deal with, for many drugs it's excruciatingly overpriced. Meaning I pay 1/5th of the price of the seizure medication at my local pharmacy. When I told this vet to call in my dogs rx they said by law they could not. This is false. You as a client are allowed to pick up your rx anywhere you want to. I actually reported this and a few weeks later I was called back by LUV indicating they could all of sudden call in my dogs rx. While I lost trust in them, I appreciated that they pivoted and admitted it. But the pain continues. My dog needs her bordatella updated. She had surgery about 6 months ago from the same vet, And her wellness is only a week past one year , we visit the vet regularly. The annual wellness law is to ensure the vet has seen the dog in the last year to ensure they are prescribing medications on an animal they've seen.....LUV examined my dog pre-surgery but they say none of the visits count to establish vet-client relationship and won't do the bordatella without an annual wellness exam. We were there 6 months ago for her pre surgery work. We are there regularly. Last year when I updated my dogs vaccinations I paid more than $700 they added on a bunch of stuff we didn't need. They code things their way and read the law their way to add as many things to your tab as possible.

I'm an established patient, they know me and my partner (and my cat!). Unfortunately, asking for an update on labwork yesterday culminated in an absolutely bizarre phone conversation with one of the receptionists that ended with "Look, we have lots of other patients. We can transfer your records to another vet if you're unhappy." And then hung up. That is, without a doubt, an insane thing to be ok saying to a client. I just wanted to know whether I needed to postpone my upcoming appt to wait for the labs! I no longer feel like there will be a good standard of care so I'm taking them up on the "find a new vet" threat. My 17 year-old cat gets to re-establish care elsewhere. This absolute catastrophe could've been avoided with the sentences: "Sorry about that, you should've heard back today but we are now expecting it early tomorrow. I wouldn't reschedule your appointment." Instead I got "I don't know what's happening with your pet. Do you want to reschedule the appointment or not?" Maybe things will work out for you here, for me they did for a while, but also maybe they'll rudely show you the door when you ask for an update on your pet. I won't risk that level of volatility in my pet's health care. I don't think you should either.
