BEWARE READ REVIEWS FIRST! The Belle tire on 28th St. in Grand Rapids is disgusting, dishonest and…read moreapprehensible. initially I bought my tire in because of a slow leak. They could not fix and needed to replace the tire, fine. I agreed to have it replaced with a brand new Pirelli tire, identical to what I had. when I went home I noticed a weird rattling sound underneath my car near the tire that was replaced. when me and my husband got out to look at the tire, not only it was my rim scratched up, the tire looked used and the rattling sound again. The next day we went back to Belle tire and the tech there went under my car and said that two screws were missing from my heat plate and that was causing the rattling noise, (he took pics and showed my husband) he didn't address the tire/rim because it was a Friday and he asked me to bring it back Monday morning. Monday, Antonio, the assistant manager came out to look at the tire and he said to leave the car there (9:30 am) and he would have his advanced tech look at the car/tire. After no updates or calls, we went back to the shop (4:30) only for him to tell me that they didn't find anything wrong with the tire and they weren't aware of any noise, and that his previous tech was wrong. I'm not convinced they even looked at the car again. He totally dismissed everything! At that point I realized the caliber of people at this location, dishonesty and greed. Being full-service means you drive your car up to the car wash, then disembark, and the staff takes it from there. You can follow your car through the wash, looking at it through windows from a comfortable walkway. At the end you'll end up in a small auto shop with the cashier. There you can buy air fresheners and other auto maintenance products. Meanwhile, your car's wash ends with a towel dry by the staff and your car is waiting for you at the exit. Overall, it's an interesting experience and generally gets your car much cleaner than a common coin-operated automated carwash. Pricing is a bit high, but for the service you get, it's reasonable.

Seriously, all that was needed was a vacuum nozzle placed down and swipe. Not done. Underneath the seats, ah..no not done either. The door frames not wiped down. The dashboard area was not wiped down. Waste of money. Now, I know people doing this work get paid very little, but this was unless. Plus, when my vehicle was completed, no one came to get me. Ah..why. When I did walk up to the cashier they were personable,[ I mean everyone was very very nice] , they gave me the keys and thanked me for coming. Well, I hadn't pay yet...[sorry I just didn't take the keys and leave,,,they wouldn't have know the difference]. I did complain, and one of the staff did vacuum and wipe down the dashboard. They were very apologetic too. Although $0.01 is donated to the "Kids Food Basket" program [which was not mentioned & I saw no signage about]. Quick wash & wax OK. But..DO NOT EXPECT MORE BECAUSE THIS WAS A TREMENDOUS WASTE OF $35.00!

Both times I was greeted by professional and friendly service advisors right when I arrived. They are extremely informative about the condition of your tires and seem to only give honest opinions and feedback on what services are needed. The Audi was close to needing new tires, but I told them I was selling it in a few months and they completely understood my initial reasoning for not wanting to buy new tires. I later changed my mind and decided to replace them and the gentlemen at discount tire were very quick on ordering the tires I chose and they even matched (and beat by a few dollars) a better price that I found online. When I brought my wife's BMW in today to get the screw taken out, I was lucky they could patch it since it was in a repairable location. The guys at discount tire did. It try to sell me anything unnecessary and they were extremely quick at patching it, even when I didn't have an appointment. The owner and manager of this location should be very proud of the amazing workers they employ at this location. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tires or having tire issues, and it's definitely my go-to tire shop in the future.

Terrible communication at this place. Estimate was misleading by stating that "Total Customer…read moreResponsibility" was a negative number......I relied on this estimate and was lead to believe that this number was being deducted from what I would owe out-of-pocket upon pick-up. On top of this, we were talked into purchasing 3 additional tires so that a proper alignment could be completed. We were quoted a price by Brandon which he stated included tax and mounting....That price suddenly went up $30 upon pick-up and of course, Brandon wasn't around that day to speak with about the price difference. We ended up paying an additional $80 unexpectedly because of their poor communication, badly written estimates, and shady tactics. Even after discussing the issues we had they refused to honor the prices we were given. I will avoid this place in the future and will definitely not be recommending. We were given an amount by Brandon that was to be our responsibility which we accepted and were totally prepared to pay. We were then given a higher amount when we came to pick up our vehicle and of course Brandon wasn't around. These are the facts. Typical scam.....give the customer an amount over the phone $$ then charge more when its time for them to pick up $$$$ blame customer for not understanding, imply the customer is lying, have the tech disappear that day, use all the above if necessary.
