I had the unfortunate luck of getting a big chip in my windshield late last week. The chip ended up cracking and splitting across half my windshield. Action was able to schedule me an appointment very quickly. They worked right with my insurance company and I was able to get the issue taken care of in less than a week! They offer remote repairs if you have an enclosed warm space. I had to go to the shop, but they had me in and out in a little under an hour. Staff were very friendly and if you have State Farm for your insurance you get complimentary wiper blades with a windshield replacement! They even installed those for me. Action Glass was SO HELPFUL and stress free. so had a crack in my windshield and called them without any clue how the process worked- the person was so nice and helpful, she called my insurance company with me on the phone and got the claim covered. Then, they came to my house the very next day and replaced my windshield without me having to leave the house at all. Used this online quote request to try and get a price to replace a cracked windshield. They responded with an email stating that someone would get in touch with pricing and scheduling options. Action glass deserves 10 stars. I was on road trip from Chicago to traverse city and heard huge pop with good size rock hit our windshield. We stopped to charge our car and finally got to check if there was damage. I noticed a small impact, and called all local auto window places, everyone said no they can't take me in right away. I was worried about it cracking all the way. Action glass was super nice on the phone, asked the techs if it was ok to take me right away as a walk in, called my insurance with me on phone to get authorization. When I got there, very friendly, took me to bay and tried fixing it. Before starting, they were honest and said it likely wouldn't work because the crack already got bigger and expanded. It cracked and they said they had to void State Farm claim and they wouldn't charge me. Amazing place and customer service. read more

I used them twice, or tried to. The first time they were great. Came out when scheduled, price was fair, nice guy. Second time they missed the appointment. Second time they missed the appointment. No communication from them, we had to text and see what was up. I called a competitor and they were here in 2 hours. They had a story each time, but, if I'm home waiting, I'm not at work making money! I'd say you have a 50/50 chance of being pleased. read more

The first time I used them in 2017 it was a great experience. The second time....not so much. I was looking to purchase a car with a broken windshield so I contacted their office to inquire on the price for a replacement. They told me they would cover my $100 deductible but a week later when I had purchased the vehicle and contacted them to schedule they retracted their offer and would only cover $30 of the $100 deductible. I had told them up-front the make, model and year of the vehicle yet they backed out of their original offer to cover the deductible. Also, be aware, their pricing for a job flexes depending on how busy they are at the time. A job they quote during slow times could be significantly higher when they are busy. I have never heard of such a pricing model but I learned this after a conversation with their Jenison office. read more

The hood on my car flew up and shattered my windshield while I was driving. Action Glass was able to get me in and fixed on the same day! They even replaced my windshield wiper for free. This is the second time we used Action Glass -Jenison and I must say they came through for us both times. The first was for our 2003 Highlander. No muss-no fuss, they just came out to the house and replaced the windshield. Very nicely done. Second time....Oops the wrong windshield was delivered for our Audi. The tech Brian made his apologies and then Cheryl called later to arrange another visit. Thanks Cheryl. Then Oops again. WTF? Bob showed up with the wrong windshield again. (Oh, by the way Bob, get a clue, you laid blame with others in your organization basically telling the customer (me) that you just were following what was on the work order and that it's real common to screw up more than once....Geez.) Anyway Jody scheduled another visit and they came back for a third time later and got it right this time. Thanks, Jody. The job was done right and the new windshield looks great. They came out to where I work and replaced my windshield in under an hour on my new Subaru Outback. They even paid my insurance deductible so I paid nothing in the end. I've had the new windshield for a month and it seems as good as the original. I highly recommend them! read more

Had my windshield replaced and the following week had water coming in. They blamed it on the sunroof drain and wouldn't take responsibility. ( never had an issue with water before until they replaced my windshield) When they came out to look at the windshield they worked on the car before I was out there and when I went out there you could smell a fresh coat of sealant. Even after the 2nd attempt I still had water coming in. Due to them wanting to charge me another $100 to look into the issue further, I decided to have another company look at the issue. They were able to locate where the water was coming in and resolved the issue. This company does not go by there warranty program. Any future customers I would recommend spending a little extra money and have another company work on your car to avoid such poor quality and service.
