Awesome food and great service! Love all the options. Jack made an excellent Italian sub.

Great place. Been going here for about 25 years. Best cheese steak around. Try the chicken cheesesteak also.

We foolishly tried to order from their competitor tonight only to end up back at Casapulla's after a terrible experience with the other place. The difference is in the quality of food and quality of staff. The staff at Casapulla's can be consistently relied upon to take an order correctly and make it correctly. No fuss and arguments here, just a good sub. read more

I did not enjoy this place. Trying to call them for an order was hard, their phone kept dropping and making an eery scratching noise. Hardly anyone answers calls at all. Menu is overpriced and not worth the items you get at all. read more

i'm allergic to onions and I had ordered a cheesesteak with ketchup and cheese only however when I got the cheese steak, the taste of onions overpowered the whole cheese steak, even though there were no onions on it and cooked on top stove that had not been scraped or a cheesesteak with cooked exactly next to and all the juices of my steak that was being read more

Awesome fresh food from Casapulla's in Glasgow, love it! But what I would truly like to highlight is HOW NICE IS THE STAFF!! Everyone is so helpful, kind and they seem to work so seamlessly as a team. Casapulla's ownership should be proud of their team!! read more

I was disappointed by the Newark store, bought the Italian but while the flavor was good the lack of meats disappointed me, heard this was a good place not worth the $17 I'll have to try the one in lamer. read more

This place doesn't look like much, but they have the best subs around. We stopped here on a weekday around lunchtime and they were busy but moved quickly. The Italian sub with everything is my favorite! The right amount of meat and veggies with a nice and crispy sub roll. We drove out of our way to stop here and well worth the trip. I highly recommend the subs. I've been eating here since I was a kid and still one of my all time favorites. read more

Casapulla's - Italian sub with everything - Delis Near Me - Newark, Delaware

Poor service leads to poor quality. When you turn your business over to a bunch of teenagres who arent trained you should expect customer disappointment. Food is slapped together vs prepared with pride. Once a great place. I watched 2 separate customers request a refund in less than 30 minutes. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Had an Italian sub a few weeks ago with bad salami that I had to take off. Gave them a second chance and got soggy inedible onion rings and a cheesesteak that was supposed to have ketchup and fried onions and it had neither. Had to put my own ketchup on when I got home and threw half away because it tasted like it had been sitting all day. Joe Casapulla used to run this place like his parents in Elsmere, but it has gone way downhill. No more chances. read more

In love with their subs! I've had the roast beef- which is offered both rare or well done. A nice touch. I've also had the Italian sub. The subs are substantial in size. The cheesesteaks are also meaty and tasty. read more

Yum! Best Italian sub ever. We travel from central pa for it! We eat one and pack a bunch to go

The staff is not too friendly but their signage clearly stated they are short. The bobbies were pretty dry, too light on the cranberry. Super basic unfortunately. read more

If I only read the reviews before ordering my sub. I ordered a cheese sub and asked to have my peppers and relish on the side. Even though it comes with the sandwich. I was charged extra.25 cents. The girl at the counter told me that the next time you come back that I would know I will get charged. Well you don't have to worry about that. Poor customer service, I was never told that when I ordered my sandwich and this was my first and last time I Will ordered my sandwich there. Jersey Mike, I strongly recommend. read more

I can honestly say being from Philly, the turkey hoagie ain't bad in a pinch. I was honestly disappointed though as we are in the midst of a covid19 pandemic trying to support a local business that most of the staff were working without properly wearing face mask. When I pointed it to the young man at the register, he said that he would speak to those employees, as I pointed out that his was not covering his nose. When I returned to my car, he removed his mask. Prior to leaving, I expressed to him that while the staff is young, they can infect others. Im truly disappointed that this behavior happened in a place where food is handled. Im not comfortable with the safety measures in place. Sorry to say, me and my family cannot patronize. Went to casapullas for dinner and we enjoy our cheesesteaks an Italian subs. Good place to eat

The food is ok but the service and hours are not. For a sub shop, they close very early and typically won't answer the phone 30 minutes before closing (at 7pm on Fridays), or they will continuously pick up and hang up like they did tonight. Just can't recommend this kind of service where staff are seemingly more concerned about their convenience than customer service and getting business. There are too many options to choose from - it's not worth subjecting yourself to this type of service for just "ok" food. read more

The subs and steaks are very good if you can order them. I tried to call in an order three times and let it ring 18 - 20 times each time I called. Each time someone picked up, hit the fax button and then hung up. If their staff won't answer the phone, people will stop ordering from them. The owner needs to tell them that if they don't answer the phone, they will be fired before they drive away all of their patrons. Needless to say, it will be a good while before I order again. read more

My boyfriend is lactose intolerant so the one thing he will never order is CHEESE. His cheesesteak came covered in melted cheese, which he ended up just feeding to our German Shepherd. Having patronized Casapulla's for all of my childhood and adult life, (I am 52) this will be the last $44.00 I ever spend in any of their establishments. Mr. Casapulla is probaly spinning in his grave by the quality his decendants have let his brand slip to. Bought 4 sandwiches two of which I am uploading pics of. Steak sandwich with extra onions, sweet peppers and ketchup. As you can see by the picture 1 sliver of steak, 1 sweet pepper, you have to strain your eyes to find and onion and a very small trace of ketschup. Knew I was doomed when I walked in and the staff was arguing over answering the phone. As I explanied to the manager who came in after I got home and called I am not looking for anything free just want the owner of this store to know his lack of caring is shining through! read more

I was excited to try Casapulla's again after I got a chance to sample one of their subs at a work group order of food. However, I ran into a problem which I was not prepared for. The different Casapulla's have different menus, or at least this particular one does. While the menu has several staple items the Glasgow shop did not have all the items that are on the website for the main site. There was no spicy sausage sandwich or roast pork, the two I had a hankering for. Since there was no sausage or roast pork I decided to go with a mushroom cheesesteak with some onions. I prefer the raw onions in the sandwich to fried so there is a little bite to them. The bread was fairly standard, nothing special. Not hard or dry, but the crust was fairly plain. The steak and cheese was the usual, nothing outstanding or memorable, same for the mushrooms and onions. Over all the sandwich was okay, but nothing special The staff was quick and courteous. While I will eat at Casapulla's again, I think I will try to get to another site for the full menu. read more

Casapulla's - a truck parked in front of a restaurant - Delis Near Me - Newark, Delaware

Worst subs ever. Asked for large fresh turkey. They gave me a large ham. It had 4 pieces of cheap square ham- it was awful. Also ordered small cheese steak with American cheese. They put this nasty provolone that was like a thick block. The girl who made the sandwich whispered something to the girl who checked me out, I heard her say something about losing a sandwich. I asked her are you sure my sandwiches are correct and she said oh yeah this is what you ordered. Called for 1/2hr they would not answer, so went to shop to order. The phone just rang and rang and they had the nerve to ask people if they had a call in! What? How can you call in if they don't answer the phone. Bad thing is the owners doesn't care. It's sucks. Wish I was closer to the Elsmere location. read more

My husband and I went here and employees are NOT wearing masks. During this pandemic and while an order is in place for EVERYONE to be masked. I will never eat there again so what's the credit going to do for me absolutely nothing . Praying for no food poisoning .. read more

Food is really good, never had a problem. Best to call ahead to order cuts wait time when you get there.

Brianna was super friendly and made our delicious subs so freaking fast. She was friendly and joked with us while we waited. My sub was banging- she's an excellent all around employee for Casapullas. The young lady at the register (sorry, I forgot her name) was amazing and patient as well. At the last minute- I changed our payment method and she took it in stride. Excellent customer service skills. read more

Had been here once before and the service was good. Went on another occasion and 3 teenagers were working. One was making my sun while the other girls gossiped. While she was making my sub the phone rang, she stopped and answered, then proceeded to pull cheesesteak meat out of the freezer for the order. After she took all the meat out of the wax paper to put on the grill, she then went right back to making my Italian sub....NEVER changed her gloves! I worked in food service for over 15 years and I'm thoroughly disgusted. I walked out and went to the new Casapulla's on rt. 7 read more
