A pizza place that is a breakfast joint!? What more could we ask for. We were told Casanova's served breakfast and it has sat on our "to check out" list for some time. Saturday we had the chance to give them a try. Nothing surprising on the inside. Very reminiscent of an old Itialian Pizzereia. Hanging Tiffany lamps and dark interior. Several tables were already filled by 9am. Our friendly server was the only one there juggling every table with ease. By the time we were ready to leave another waitress arrived. The food was decent enough nothing worthy of high praise or accolades. It fed us and it was served hot. The pancakes were the star of the show; huge, fluffy and perfectly flavored and cooked. The hash browns however were greasy, gummy and were left barely touched by the end of my meal. In the end it was a disappointment, especially after sitting on our list for so long. The service was great and that is what the stars are for. (She actually earns 5* in my book but for the sake of an honest review I can't grant Casanova's any higher. If it weren't for her personality and levity this would be a one star review. This is a place I grew up with guys I knew from neighborhood parents opened and I would go in mornings for the pork roll sandwich and any other time for pizza, cheesesteak's, hoagies, and anything else on the menu never disappointed. My go to will always be the pizza steak sandwich. It's bad I will sometimes stop here before going to visit home. I was in the Army for twenty two years and when I came home ok leave this is one of the things I would look forward to. Brothers run the place now and this is the local place to go. read more

I understand why people love Casnova's Kitchen for breakfast. It sure doesn't look like much driving up, but once inside things start to come into focus. The dining room is a tight squeeze with only a handful of booths. But, if you go to the left and look around the back wall, you will find the infamous kitchen and a short luncheonette counter with a half dozen stools. If you enjoy watching the chef do his thing on the grill, and the entertaining talk between him, customers and his staff, then this is the joint for you. Grab a spinner, check out the large menu and go for something good. Anything with eggs and coffee is the right idea. I went with a sausage, egg and cheese on kaiser roll, but those omelets being prepared on the hot steel looked real appealing, too. All the while, the second gen Casanova (Tim?) exchanged information with me and had funny dialogues with the guys coming to this backroom man cave grill. They all knew each other well, and the comradery was patent. Even as a stranger I felt I was almost part of their clique. And, the sandwich was very good, too. Sausage logs (not links) a little crisp, with folded fried eggs and a couple slices of cheese, all on a superior fresh roll brought in from a bakery in Jersey. Java refills as needed. This was a three ring, holy roller circus. It didn't look like a winner, but much like the other special places around Bucks, the ones that are hardest to find or hidden in plain site, are usually the best. I found out the reason why, my very favorite pizza place has been having it's ups and downs lately! Mr Senior Casanova, sadly passed on, leaving his two sons to make our pizza's. One is very good & kind & GENEROUS with the ground beef, crisp bacon, ( and I'm not talking bits here folks, these are 1 inch pieces ) onions, cheese and just enough sweet marinated peppers. I love him and his crust is to perfection. On the other hand, we have the Bad One, who is very STINGY with the ground beef, crisp bacon, onions and too many sweet marinated peppers. His pizza slides off the imperfect crust and that did not make me a happy camper. If you have your pizza delivered, it will arrive faster than when you call the police. We usually pick up our pizza's and had the best pizza from Casanova's last night. I now know who the good son is and I must get his name to see if he is working when I order my pizza. Casinova's is open six days per week and they serve an awesome full sized breakfast each morning. Believe it or not, Americans eat 75 acres of pizza a day. Nice owners! This local gem has one of the largest menus around - ranging from breakfast offerings, sandwiches, burgers, and hoagies for lunch, and dinner entrees such as pasta. I've had a variety, but what I can remember best is the pizza and pasta! They offer large slices and tasty pasta portions. I recommend their jumbo spinach ravioli which comes in a tasty blush sauce. Also, their garlic knots are a MUST. They're homemade, so it comes separate from what's included with the pasta portions, but definitely worth it! Quite an experience being in town for a wedding and just rolling into the hotel famished as a horse ridden knight upon the beaches of England. I was pleasantly surprised by the little Casanovas ability to bring a sense of family warmth, charm and a selection of unique and pleasant food. From the appetizers (Mac and cheese bites with marinara) to the crazy pizza (though the sauce lacked some seasoning) to the incredible but sadly not house made dessert (pumpkin cheesecake bundt - incredible) everything really made me feel like I was in a neighbors home having a tasty little meal...at 10pm on a Friday. Check this place out! Four stars only for the crazy cool pizza's lack of seasoning and the non house made dessert but believe me when I say it was a tough call. read more

So, in my humble opinion, and having tried all the pizza joints on Brownsville road, this is by far the best one in the area. The crust is typical Neapolitan, nice and fluffy, and the cheese is usually plentiful. I love their sauce, which is sweet (I feel that pizza sauce must be a by sweet to counter act the cheese's saltiness instead of just adding a ton of acidity). Their prices are a bit better than their competitors in the area too. Overall, if I'm in the mood for pizza, this is my go to place. Haven't been disappointed yet. Wait, I take that back. We were in the neighborhood and decided to Yelp local pizza shops. We came upon Casanova's kitchen and noticed a picture of the fry pie. The staff were pretty nice and the price was reasonable. We took out, got it home and dug in. First impression was that the pizza was pretty doughy- and the dough was a bit bland. The cheese and fry combination was great though. It had other interesting things on the menu that I would be willing to try if in the neighborhood again. read more

Our little gem in Feasterville! My wife and I love Cassanova's for dining in or take out. We have easily been there 10 times in 2 months. Great pies, the fries are always crispy, and we have enjoyed everything we have ordered from them. This is our "go to" for mid week takeout. I have lived local in Feasterville for years and have ate at almost every place in town. This place has great food during the day. The night managers are the rudest people you will every meet. We have ordered he several times and they would not make good for mistakes they make. We have been hung up on. Last time it was over 88cents. Another time the cheese steak had Alomost NO meat on it. The owner when we called to have him fix it was rude and told us to bring it back and hung up on us. We are local business just like them and spend a lot of money daily on food. So NOW are business is at Angelas 2 down the road. We spend well over a thousand a month. They just lost a LOT of business due to there lack of knowing how to treat the customer. Your LOSS. For a pizza shop, this is a great place for breakfast. I'm a fan of the Sugar Ray Omelet (hot sausage, mozz and sauce) and the western omelet with sweet peppers vs. green bell peppers. Good homefries w/ or without onions. For lunch, I've had everything from burgers to steaks to monte crisco's and all has been great! Really friendly staff and it's fun to sit at the counter in the back to watch the kitchen staff hard at work. It's funny, the only thing I haven't tried yet is the pizza! read more

Come here for Breakfast and/or Lunch often -- there's something for everyone on their menu. Sandwiches, entrees, you name it. And the lovely salads are huge! There are usually fish and pasta specials posted daily on their blackboard as well. Soups, too! Verrry generous portions, even when it comes to bacon w/breakfasts! Omelettes are fluffy -- and hearty, as is everything they do. They don't skimp on anything! You will leave here satisfied and filled, pretty much no matter what you order. Very reasonably priced. This is one of those places, IMO, which wouldn't ever need to advertise. Reputation, reputation, reputation... loyal following, from what I see whenever I'm in there. I'm verrry fussy when it comes to bread, and you can feel confident when you order a cheese steak or hoagie here that it's the Real Deal. I like their Gyros as well. The food is inedible. Dog food would taste better. The pizza was raw and the fries were mush. I called to complain and the manager argued with me as opposed to apologizing for the horrid food and even worse customer service. When I first ordered the food, the teen girl that answered was either deaf or an idiot. The manager laughed at me and was extremely rude. When receiving a complaint, you are supposed to listen and then try to make the customer happy. Jack, the manager needs both a lesson in cooking and in customer service. Very offended and upset after 5+ years as a happy customer. For years my family has been ordering and eating at the counter, watching the cooks and talking with the friendly staff. Food is usually pretty good and the owner Jack a nice guy. Like visiting old friends. We loved Casanova's. Working tonight was Tony the other owner. OMG what a difference a one person makes. Few smiles on the staff's faces, Tony barking orders.I was basically yelled at and accused of trying to stealing food from the restaurant because I dared to tell the cook my order. When I tried to explain... long unfriendly conversation later, I was rudely told to never come back when Tony was working. Funny I never had trouble before. We order lunch from Casanova' on a regular basis for our local insurance office. I have to say that the food is always fresh and the friendly, family staff is always helpful. Theyll make your meal to you specual request without batting an eye and the owners Kim and Jack will go out out of their way to make sure it was to your liking. To top it off, the food avoids that soggy, greasy feel that so many pizza places are used to providing.
