Tried Casa12doce today for the first time on Cinco de Mayo! The fam jam and I gobbled up churros, suadero (beef brisket) tacos, and quesadillas dorados (vegetarian corn tortillas stuffed with smashed potatoes and feta cheese served on a bed of lettuce and tomatoes). EVERYTHING was delish! And their sauces really hit the spot! My fave is to mix the garlic & jalapeño with salsa verde. Mmm... I'm drooling just remembering how good lunch was today! I've been a fan of Casa12doce for years now, before La Patrona was even open. If I drive by and see it open I will usually abandon whatever plans I had before to get a Gringa! The wait time is always usually at least 10-15 minutes but for the quality of the food. It's so worth it. I love the convenience of the food truck and being able to just grab and go. read more

Our staff drove over to the location they had advertised on their facebook page for today's location. It was about noon so they had only been open for a half hour and they had a good line up already. They let us know that they had a large order but it wouldn't be too long of a wait. As soon as they had the large order out they had food coming out within minutes. We ordered tacos (carnitas and beef), chicken gringa(?), and churros. When we arrived back at work we devoured our food. Not a single thing left. Can't wait to visit them again! My food is from Mexico City and we do have quesadillas doradas that are stuffed with potatoes and different ingridieants. Unless you have giant hands our tortillas are bigger than mine. I couldn't agree more with one of the prior reviews. Food is good, but the amount you pay for your serving is extremely high. I enjoyed 2 taco's, but they cost me $10. The lady said the taco's were 6 inch pita's. After seeing them, they definitely were not 6 inches, more like 4. (bring on the joke's - haha). I have been 3 times now. Mexican street food. The first time the beef had a bit of gristle hiding in it resulting in the loss of the 5th star. However the flavours are fabulous. The people are friendly and the chef customizes the food at your request. They added some seating this past week as colourful as their truck. Oh, and they have Mexican pop which seems to be lower in sugar than most of what we are used to, a more adult taste if you will. I am going again this week. read more

Pretty expensive but worth it, at 5 bucks a taco. The best (and only?) taco truck in Edmonton. I keep getting the Gringo ($10), which is just a giant grilled cheesy mess with al Pastor pork. The other options are pretty enticing as well, as are the variety of sauces, especially the peanut one. Parks between City Centre mall and Jasper Ave at lunchtime most weekdays. read more

I tried them at Taste of Edmonton and was really blown away. I had the chorizo taco which was of generous portion and great flavour. Loved the big wedge of lime that came with it. Not only was the food great, the owner was more than happy to listen to my feeble attempts to practice my Spanish and was super friendly. My only complaint - I wish they were more accessible. I've wanted to eat there many times after Taste of Edmonton but can't make it downtown or to Sherwood park. And so my cravings increase week after week, visions of chorizo haunting my hungry brain. read more

Wow yum!! This was a hella good taco truck! Unlike the same old lame old tacos from the big chains these guys have cilantro and lime! It is in my mind the best tacos I have had except for in East L.A and Mexico. The only thing I would say is bring your wallet as you do pay for what you get! 4.5/5 read more

Food was DELICIOUS, although a bit over priced. Staff was extremely helpful and even offered to make something off their menu for my kids. Whether or not they are even in the parking lot is hit or miss, because they also do private functions. A special treat, but would not visit regularly. read more

Amazing! I had the haurache and my husband had the Torta. My husband doesn't even like Mexican food but I managed to convince him to try a food truck. He couldn't stop talking about how tasty his Torta was, going on and on the entire time he ate. My haurache was also VERY tasty and the staff are just so friendly. My husband and I love Casa 12Doce! We actually downloaded the food truck ap just so we could search them out when we had a craving. The food is fantastic and we're never disappointed. Quite often I will run out from work to pick up an order for myself and coworkers. I find Carlos and his wife (?) very charming. I've seen others say in their reviews that they thought the food was pricey but I don't agree. I think you get what you pay for and what you get here is great. After all, we're living in Alberta, not Mexico. Cost is relative. I would never complain about price when you can see that heart & soul is evident in every morsel! read more
