Margarita

The staff is so kind and seated us right away. The waiter was fast with orders and brought drinks like a minute after we ordered them. The food took wayyyy too long to come - like well over 40 minutes. They brought extra chips and salsa which was nice of them. The chips kinda tasted like cheap ones you get from a grocery store. The salsa was good and one of them had a nice kick to it. They brought me green salsa which also tasted fresh and was pretty good. My husband got a lime margarita and said it was amazing and quite strong. For our meals I got steak which tasted wayyy overcooked and had char on it but it almost tasted like burn as opposed to a good char flavor. The beans and rice were also just okay. My husband got the enchiladas and said they were flavorful and liked them quite a bit! Overall okay and honestly might not come back but if you're looking for okay food with good service then this would be a good spot!

We haven't been back to this location for awhile due to poor service abd food quality. As usual, we got our worse server named Carlos who spent most of his time talking and socializing with a table in tge corner. Took him about 15 minutes to come to our table to ask us what we would like to drink. Then, when we placed the order it took 20 minutes to train our dinner which was delicious but, we can tell it sat for awhile in the window in the kitchen because our food was luke warm. But, we were to hungry toast for a remake. The ambiance inside was ok.

Celebrated with lunch today with the jumbo margaritas. Way too much for me and easily could've shared with two other people. Lots of menu options, but I opted for the Cameron tacos. Shrimp was chopped up which wasn't what I expected. But it was still tasty. Chips were fresh and not greasy at all. Salsa was fresh and lots of spicy options. Rice and beans was average. All in all, it was relaxing lunch and the quesadilla was my favorite out of all. Big chunks of beef tasted roasted and flavorful.

This was my second time here and I really enjoyed my experience both times! We came at around 5:30 on a Friday night and arrived just before they got super busy. All of the employees were working really hard to provide the best service they could and it was very obvious. Our server was very friendly and all of our food came out promptly and accurately. The guacamole was a little bland but tasted really fresh, which made up for it. My chicken chimichangas were extremely cheesy, which I loved, and the rice and beans were also very flavorful and tasty. The restaurant itself is pretty bare bones and a little crowded, but it feels very small town, everybody knows everybody, which I think is cute. The blended margaritas were delicious too, give this place a try!

The service was good. They served us with 3 different Salsa along with freshly fried chips. I asked for spicy salsa and the server brought us 2 extra ones which were really great. I am giving 5 stars for the experience till then. The main food we ordered though were not that great. Our steak was over cooked and chewy. The taco shell was too hard for a soft taco. It almost felt like I was eating hard shell. Chimichanga was alright. The burrito didn't feel crispy enough. It wasn't deep fried long enough so the outer shell was soft. The portion size was good. Beans were cooked well but the rice was bland. The place was vibrant and seem like a local favorite. On a Sunday night, they had 2 huge groups and quite a lot of people. We weren't just so impressed with their tacos. If our steak weren't overcooked and our tacos weren't so hard, I would have given 4 stars.

Drinks were good, but could've used a splash more alcohol for the size. The food (fajita chicken quesadilla) was just ok.

We were seated promptly and the place was almost full for Saturday dinner. After a short wait, they brought us table waters and left a large bottle of water for refills. I was a little disappointed that they didn't get us started with chips and salsa as is typical for most Mexican restaurants. They have a nice liquor selection and an expanded page of a variety of Tequilas and specialty margaritas. The menu is limited to only one page but focuses on a nice variety of appetizers, Tacos and meals. For starters, we ordered the Chips and pico de gallo. The pico was very fresh and tasty and came with a generous portion of tortilla chips. For dinner, we ordered 3 tacos each - Manolos Bam Bam chicken tacos, Milwalke taco, Shrimp cilantro tacos, and the Quasi birria taco. When they arrived they seemed pretty small but our eyes were bigger than our stomach. Each soft corn tortilla taco was loaded with the selected meat and accompanied toppings. Each one was very delicious with generous amounts of chicken, shrimp, and steak with just the right amount of spice. After 3 of them I was stuffed! For dessert, we tried the stuffed Churros which were lightly coated with cinnamon and came with 2 dipping sauces of chocolate and creamy donut glaze. So good! Overall, we had a great experience at Contento.Nice atmosphere for lunch or dinner. The Lucha Libre pictures and wall paper in the men's bathroom were very cool!

Found out tables were only available via reservation which I thought was a bit odd for a Mexican restaurant but we were offered a seat at the bar so we jumped on that. Inside the decor was festive with a number of Frida pictures and great wallpaper in the restroom. We ordered guacamole and tacos. The guacamole came out quickly and was tasty, with a slightly sweet twist due to the pomegranate seeds and chips just as I like them. I ordered the milwalke and manolos bam bam tacos. I preferred the bam bam because it was filled a bit more but I didn't love the mayo based sauce on either. I would've preferred that on the side or, even better, an offering of salsa instead. I would've loved to review their salsa but only heard about it as I was finished up and it was offered to the couple sitting next to us at the bar. I was excited to try here but there were a few misses during our visit so we'll head to other local restaurants when we're in the area for a more satisfying meal next time.

The fillings were all delicious, especially the cactus and rice was well seasoned. I was a bit disappointed that the burrito wasn't hand held when I ordered togo and was more enchilada style. It's set up to order at the counter, they give you a number, and then bring out your drinks and food. When we arrived we were greeted by a super friendly staffer. Since it was our first time she explained the process, told us we could open up a tab, which allowed us to get drinks and guac while we decided on the rest of our order. Our drinks, a Margarita and Paloma were both very good. Generous pours, with interesting seasoned salt on the glasses. They had brought us a small complimentary basket of chips, with some Salsa. The Guacamole that we ordered came with another batch of warm chips. The Guac was was good (not great). We like it a bit chunkier, and it didn't taste "just made fresh". After a short wait, our food came out. We got a "Uno Dos Tres", with Empanada, Tamale, and Enchilada. Each of those items was very good. The favorite, Beef Empanada was larger than we are used to, deep fried?, with some guajillo cream that was delicious. The Carnitas was also very good too. It came it hot, very tender, and a good portion (took home leftovers). Throughout the entire meal, the staff/servers checked on us, got us additional napkins, and some waters. Very attentive for having counter ordering. With the exception of the Guac, the meal was excellent. Definitely come back again.
