Sitting here, you are right on the beach protect from the sun rays with beautiful white umbrellas as the W looks down over you, with an option to sit in these lounge chairs where your feet are in the sand. It turns out it was a chocolate factory eons ago. Now it's a restaurant run by the same family that used to make chocolates. The decor inside is a mixture of traditional old fashioned and some new. It's a good mix. The service is friendly and attentive. The staff speak English as well as Español and Català. We had a leisurely, late, typical Catalan lunch. We were there almost 2 hours and enjoyed every minute of it. To drink we had a pitcher of sangria (26€), which was a perfect accompaniment to our lunch. The starters were pa amb tomàquet i oli (4.90€) (lightly toasted bread rubbed with tomatoes and oil), and ensalata burrata (16.9€) (burrata soft cheese over thinly sliced tomatoes accompanied with rocket lettuce, sun-dried tomatoes and olives). For the main course we had fidueà negra amb langostino (40.20€) (a black paella but with noodles instead of rice, with seafood). Delicious!
