Prices are perfect for someone traveling on a budget and the baguette I had both times, being one with chicken, bacon and some mayonnaise-type goodness was very tasty. The location is great because you can people watch as they pass along the busy street and boardwalk. I really appreciated that the staff could speak some English!

For some reason someone opened the door while we were eating and even though it says no smoking on the patio, there were smokers. Eventually someone closed it but smoke can really ruin a meal.

We watched the swimmers and waders in the surf. Food was typical as well. Nothing fancy, but decent Spanish and Catalan seafood. I opted for Fish & Chips which came with the thinnest shoestring chips ever. The fish was nice and moist. Nine of us enjoyed sharing tapas and snacks. Drinks were ok. Service was good. We had a fun time at Pic Nic, but it is really about sharing the view and meal with friends.

Service was off both times as the young servers didn't come by enough, forgot to bring requested items or even forgot orders. Food took forever to arrive, and not all at the same time. I asked them if they could cook it more, which they did, but they cut off and discarded about 1/4 of the steak where I had cut it to find it was raw. So the steak had gone from 300g down to 225g and over half of that was pure fat that went to the garbage. There was no seasoning of any kind on the steak either. Probably the worst steak experience I have ever had at a restaurant.
