I came near closing, but service was still awesome. The lady behind the counter was super patient with me as I scanned the menu and tried to figure out what I wanted to order. I was dinner so I opted for a Birria burrito, then added on a Birria taco and a carne asada taco. There were two people ahead of me so my food was a little slow to come but I tell ya: it was worth the wait. My picture doesn't really do this justice. The burrito is fucking huge. One of the biggest I've ever had. I wish I knew how big it was ahead of time, cause I would not have ordered the tacos. Or maybe I would have cause the tacos were chonky and so damned good too. Going back to the birria burrito.. wow. It was packed full of birria with some rice and beans. The ratio is AMAZING for us meat lovers. I could only stomach half the burrito, plus the two tacos. Was able to save the other half for lunch tomorrow. Still super duper tasty. The birria was very very juicy and tender flavorful. Lord, mouth is watering just thinking about it. The other amazing part? The PRICE. That giant birria burrito was $11.99. I defy you to find a place with a better price to portion ratio than this. Especially in this economy. I'm definitely coming back, cause apparently the other burritos are even BIGGER according to the staff. Price, taste, quantity. Can't be beat. You'd be doing yourself a disservice if you skip this spot. Or maybe skip it, so they don't get overhyped and jack up their prices. (yeah, I'm a little selfish XD)

Our server was amazingly attentive, helpful, and quick. Staff was quite energetic in general, providing good overall vibes. For our food, we got our complementary chips and salsa with a great set of salsas. We ordered the queso fundido with chorizo. Our friend ordered the tacos de carne asada plate, the hubby ordered the flautas, and I ordered the carnitas tacos plate. The sizzling queso fundido was quite good, not spicy, but with a nice texture and added deliciousness with the chorizo. The tortillas were clearly masterfully hand made in house! By the time our dishes arrived we had already finished one order of chips and salsa with the fundido. But we still wanted more! The flautas had good flavor and crispness, the tacos de asada were ok with seasoned asada but they were missing something. The stray chile relleno was well made and the Christmas salsas made it bright and delicious. The carnitas tacos looked ok, but, to my surprise, they were not dry and they were tender. In most places they would be dry and overcooked. Not here! Kudos for not using packaged precooked rice, too! This adventure left us full and satisfied. Some elements wowed us, while others were just ok. Overall, this was a nice experience at a very reasonable price and good portions.

I am a huge fan of their al pastor tacos, especially on their $2 taco tuesdays. The pork is grilled on a blacktop with fresh, juicy pineapple. They are generous with their portions. Their sauces are pretty bomb, too. Honestly, sauce isn't even needed because their tacos are so good. But since I myself am a sauce lover, I love their chipotle sauces and your typical red and green salsas! Service is pretty quick and nice. I would recommend calling in if you're in a rush and can only pick up and pay. I like how they take phone orders! The interior is pretty spacious, and is good for medium sized groups.
