We are Blessed to have this purveyor of Genuine Jalisco Mexican Cuisine, in our area, where the opportunities to find Great, Fresh, Made-To-Order, ethnic food, is limited. The Staff was so friendly as I waited for my Take-Out order to be prepared. Once I arrived home, the Carne Asada Burrito was as Fabulous, as the Taco I ordered for an appetizer. Delicious salsas accompanied the menu items along with a complimentary bag of homemade tortilla chips. I will definitely recommend CASA REYES to friends, and even enemies, because it's That Good! Great Mexican restaurant! We enjoyed huge pours of their horchata, which was probably the best I've had outside of Mexico. My love got a burrito and I had a delicious barbacoa taco which was served with radishes and lime. Really yummy taco! I wasn't super hungry so just got one taco to try it but wish I had ordered two it was so delicious. We took our food over to Victory View Vineyard to enjoy with some wine and then found that the Casa Reyes food truck was also serving food there! The dine in atmosphere is small but nicely decorated and the staff was nice and it was a reasonable wait for our food, about 15 minutes. read more

Casa Reyes is a small, remote spot with excellent Mexican food that is a real treat, with fresh, made-to-order dishes and a scenic outdoor seating area. Casa Reyes stands by itself all alone on the side of Route 40. This is mainly a takeout establishment, with only two small tables and a short counter to sit at inside. Outside there are three or four picnic tables, which are nice in the warm weather. Nice view. There is a limited menu of tacos, burritos, nachos, and like. All cooked to order, fresh, good sized. The side order of beans are refried beans, not black or red beans. Beverages are in the cooler, packaged desserts are at the counter. If you're in the area, definitely stop in for takeout or a nice lunch or dinner in an out-of-the-way location. read more

First off, so grateful to have a restaurant in this location. Especially this fare. Second time coming and have tried both the asada and al pastor burrito, as well as the horchata and flan. both burritos were lovely and well seasoned. none of the flavors or textures were obnoxious and the whole thing was just nom nom nom. Everything served at ideal temp. the horchata was yummy although I'm not clear on if it's homemade. The flan was a miss for me it was far too watery and gelatinous with none of the custardy caramelized flavor that I crave in it but to each their own. Will try tres leches next time! Super cute location and several picnic tables overlooking big farm pastures. Yay read more

Tiny hole-in-the-wall place with friendly staff and great food. I had a barbacoa burrito; the meat was juicy and well-seasoned, and the sauces are amazing. The green sauce is fresh with a little bit of citrus kick, while the red sauce is smoky and spicy without being overly hot. Is it great Mexican food? Compared with what you can find in more urban areas, I'd say no (I lived in LA for 3 years and ate a LOT of Mexican food), but it's flavorful and fresh, and it tastes like whomever's making it really cares about turning out good food. Would have given 5 stars but the indoor seating is limited. Other than that we order to go Casa Reyes on a weekly/biweekly basis. They even have a food stand for catering parties, graduations. Casa Reyes Mexican food was a big hit at my son's graduation party. I'm happy to support this local business, well worth a visit. read more

We have passed by Casa Reyes many times when it wasn't meal time always saying we need to visit at some point. Last Thursday we were finally in the area at lunch time. We were well rewarded! Both of us ordered a mix of tacos and had them at their picnic table outside. Wonderful delicious flavors accented by the red and green salsa. We were told the red was spicier but we did not think it too hot, but agreed it was the more flavorful. We will return soon to try more of their menu. read more

I finally stopped today and boy, am I glad!! Got the Al Pastor burrito with a side of guacamole and chips. It came with two salsas. One green and one spicy red. Both delicious but I'm partial to the red. Burrito was well flavored and balanced. My only wish is that it had more meat vs. rice. The guacamole had the wonderful taste of lime and the chips were fresh and crispy with just the right amount of salt! I'll definitely be back! read more

Casa Reyes is the absolute BEST food in the upper Hudson and we happily make the trip down from Washington county for it. We visited on Halloween and were greeted by beautiful murals, decor and staff all dressed in coordinated piñata costumes. Food and flavor as wonderful as the folks making it. Disappointed with the burrito. The steak, chorizo, bacon burrito was filled with rice. Barely any meat. I will order tacos next time.

This place is a gem! Delicious food, friendly staff, and excellent service. My wife and I tried four of their different tacos...meat and seasoning in all were superb.
