Amazing food. Recommend the birria in anything! I had it in a burrito and loved it. Attentive and friendly folks.

I got the steak taco salad, and what really sold me was that everything was chopped into perfect bite-size pieces :) It made eating it so easy and enjoyable. My friend ordered the birria tacos and whew... that cheese pull did not disappoint! I also loved the outdoor seating. It's cozy, quaint, and gives the perfect little setup to eat, chill, and enjoy the nice weather. This spot is officially on my return list!!

I can put down quite a bit of food so if I order the "three traditional tacos" then I'm usually left wanting just one more... so I typically go for the burrito to try and fill up a bit more. The chorizo is delicious and seasoned very well. The salsa verde that is served with each taco/burrito is also delicious. During winter they put up some "bubble" tents outside with heaters. They don't have much seating inside and if the restaurant is busy then you might be caught in a pickle... but I've been lucky enough to find a free table here reliably. I've been visited by out-of-state friends a few times and I typically introduce them to this restaurant (as one of my local favorites) and they usually love it.

We had a reservation at 6pm and felt invisible when we walked in, just to be seated in a table 5 feet away. Maybe they were understaffed, but friendly staff could have gone a long way here. We started with cocktails and they were all good. We didn't really have opportunities to order more, so I only tried one. We started with the Fried Burrata and Caesar salad. The fried buratta was delicious but not enough bread, or a spoon served with it so most of the sauce went to waste. We loved the pesto on the dish. The Caesar salad was extremely underdressed and under seasoned. None of us enjoyed it. We then ordered entrees, I got the flat iron and they ordered the carbonara and the burger. The flat iron was ordered rare, and served blue. The steak and sauce on it was cold. I didn't complain because I didn't want to try and call her over, they did not check on us after the food was delivered. The sauce on it was okay but I think it took away from the flavor of the meat, very strong cumin and chili flavor, a little gritty. The fries were good and the broccolini was mushy and overcooked. The carbonara was also a miss, it was overly peppered and unpleasant to eat. This dish was ultimately sent back and we explained it was overly peppered and inedible, and she ordered something else. My friend who ordered the burger really enjoyed it and it looked great. The server was not accommodating at all and barely checked on us. We sent food back and the server just threw it away without a thought in the world, and it remained on the bill. At this point we just wanted to pay and leave. Bad service can ruin a night, and it put a damper on our girls night out. My photos came out impeccable, unfortunately most of it looked better than it tasted. I could look over bad service if the food was great, but when neither is, it's a hard pass from me.

Fried green tomatoes (gf), Caesar slad with grilled chicken, fried burrata with sourdough bread (absolutely delish pesto on top of the red sauce), and meatballs over polenta. We will be back.

New favorite lunch spot!…read more Jesus's is brand new on river street in Troy and they are killing it! Everything is exploding with flavor and so well done, affordable too! Last week, my office ordered the burrito box for 6, 6 full sized chicken burritos, tons of chips, and two salsas for $54. You can't beat that deal, and the flavor was out of this world on every single component. The pico was incredible and the burrito were a great size. Today I tried the birria ramen and I really enjoyed this as well. They are killing it in the kitchen. The only question I had is, why isn't it served with birria meat? The standard option is chicken, which was good but I think the beef would go better with the beefy broth. Either way, it was a stellar bowl of soup for lunch, and so so filling, I could barely finish half. And the packaging was great too! We're already planning our order for next week. Check it out for sure.

Great place. We've been for Mexican groceries (I don't know anywhere else around you can get a lot…read moreof the peppers etc) and for another time for takeout tacos. We brought the tacos over to The Other One brewery next door (which they allow) and had a fantastic date night. The al pastor was delicious, we both found the barbacoa a little boring and I'd skip the guacamole entirely next time. However the house made tortillas and other bread goods are so soft and flavorful. We'll be back.

We all really enjoyed our meals. Most of us ordered the three taco combo (any three tacos on the menu) and a side of rice and beans! While the tacos are very simple, they are quite tasty. The carnitas pork taco is really tasty, especially with the pickled onions! Yum!! The steak tacos had good flavor, but there was definitely grizzle to be found in them! The chicken was great! All of their tacos are served in a double soft corn taco, which helps them stay together through every bite! Overall, the tacos here are truly authentic, full of Mexican flavors, and perfect to cure any taco craving! Now, the only thing they need is a liquor license to serve some delicious margaritas to wash down the tacos!! . Service was okay. They forgot silverware, so we sat for a bit unable to eat our rice and beans (or add them to the tacos, which is what I do). They also forgot two side of rice and beans, brought one after a reminder, but the final one was never received! We all left full and happy, so that's great! We will definitely go back again! PS. They have a full menu, much more than just tacos!! **We were so hungry that I forgot to take pictures!
