So I was on Yelp to get another quote from Nick and company on some more yard-related things, and…read morerealized I didn't review from the last time they were out! I had need for a grab bag of landscaping needs, from trimming bushes and trees all the way up to removing a 30 foot dead tree, and liked the reviews on Yelp for SLoT (I like abbreviations.) The actual work took several trips over a month, which was not exactly what Nick or I had in mind. But it wasn't a big deal for me, I'm generally flexible, and the work got done as needed and I'm happy with the results. I found Nick to be a straight shooter, candid and honest, and the kind of person I want to work with over the long haul. And in fact, as soon as I hit 'save' here I'm reaching out about a new batch of work and hope they can fit me in. I recommend SLoT, give them a call.

What started out as a positive experience turned south quickly. The turn around time and estimate…read morewere great but when it came time for the yard care things went wrong. This was a bush and tree trim and blowing of the front and back yard ( desert landscape no grass). The bushes are not cut evenly. The cleanup after everything was horrible. My mom is 73 years old and meticulous with her yard. Her front yard tree sheds pods once a year. She has had multiple gardeners over the years and every one of them have done a fantastic job. This is the first time I've seen anything like this where pods are still in the yard, and when he was asked to please blow the front yard to get all the pods, she was told "well we can't get them all". During the time of the estimate he told her to please pay through Zelle. When he was done with the yard today, he actually came to the door and asked for paymen when it had already been paid. She went out and had to do cleanup work after they were done. She is so upset paying $150 for this and still having to do yard work in 100+ degree heat. She fired them by text.
