The.Best.Menudo. I've been trying to remember on a Saturday to stop by and pick up some menudo. It didn't disappoint. By far THE best menudo I've had in the metroplex and South Texas. The soup is just as delicious the sauce on the red enchiladas. One small suggestion: I've ordered the carne asada-esque and barbacoa street tacos. The food was ehh. I ordered the beef fajitas and they had a soapy taste to them and the portion size was a small order. The rice was bland and had no real flavor. The beans were decent. what they really had going for a them is the homemade flour tortillas. Its rare to find a place that makes homemade flour tortillas. I wouldn't try it again for lunch or dinner but I am going try it for breakfast. If you want good tex mex food go to cha chas one exit down. read more

I tried steak fajitas and it was great. Meat was not overcooked, perfect. Rice and beans on point. The tortillas were made of yellow corn (my favorite) I think they were hand made. Chips and salsa, green and red salsa are very common BUT they also give a greenish salsa that seems to be made of grilled tomatillo and jalapeño THAT WAS the best salsa I have ever had! Goes great with food too! Service was kind. I also like the plates they serve food on. Everything was lovely and very tasty. I'm going back for sure whenever I'm on Mansfield again. read more

The barbacoa meat on my tacos had no flavor, neither did the rice or beans, and not even sure what the smell on my tortillas were but it wasn't pleasant. We had the street tacos (barbacoa/beef fajita) and the enchiladas de mole. Both were very good. Street tacos reminded me of ones I've had in Monterrey Mexico. Very good. We did them with the spicy green salsa. Mole enchiladas tasted good well balanced little bit of spice. Dishes come with rice and beans. Both we authentic. Happy to have some real Mexican food close to the house. Tired of all these Tex Mex places, too much cheddar cheese on everything. Also had a cappuccino. It was good too. Not the best but still good. Last night my neighbor and ordered from you for the first time. Now more than ever we want to support local businesses. For months I've been reading and hearing great things. Below is my input. I'll start with the positives. Your website was very user friendly. I appreciated the confirmation email and text. I ordered to go versus curbside only so I could come inside. Your restaurant was clean with nice decor and well marked for social distancing. I was greeted immediately which was great and he offered to bring the food out when ready. The food was delivered promptly to my car. Items for improvement include getting the order correct. I ordered two combo fajitas with two sides of chips and guacamole. When I got home there were two bags of chips but only one order of guacamole and salsa. I will say your salsa is terrific! The fajita meat was fine but no better than a fast food restaurant. I was surprised fajitas didn't come with any pico, cheese, etc. Yes, you had the option to order those at a cost but you need to make sure people know that nothing comes with the order. I thought this option was for extras. Your chips were over cooked, but again the salsa is excellent. I was disappointed because of all the great things I've heard. I also realize that any establishment can have an off night. I will probably give you a second chance to earn my business. I really want to rave about you! read more

Cute, authentic Mexican restaurant. Food was good too. I had the menudo and green chicken enchiladas. The green sauce on the enchiladas was perfectly spicy. Their cafe de hoya was delicious. And the atmosphere gives a good homey feeling. However, they need more employees. The restaurant seems to be getting a good crowd and I don't think they are staffed for their demand. However, the host was very welcoming and the staff was friendly! Will be coming back but hopefully when they have more staff! :) read more

If you like actual hot salsas, ask for their hot salsas and they'll bring a green and orange sauce in addition to their normal green and red, that'll give you a nice heat with your food! A welcome addition to Mansfield's Mexican food options (none of which my wife and I like that much). We visited a couple of days after Casa Jacaranda opened but things were running smoothly - we ordered and received our drinks and chips and salsa quickly and did not have to wait for the food. Everyone was very friendly and attentive to our needs. The chips and salsa were good (the red was a bit runny) and we were looking forward to our entrees as everyone's meals around us looked fantastic. I ordered beef enchiladas and my wife had tamales, both of which arrived hot and fresh and looked mouthwatering on the plate. Happy to report that the food was as good as it looked, although my wife liked her pork tamale more than the chicken. The restaurant is on the smaller side and felt a bit cramped as people came in and ordered, but it was clean and very nicely designed. Planning on a return visit this week. read more

Not the best Mexican food restaurant, but decent for tacos. The fajitas aren't cooked fresh, seems like pre-made taco meat that was warmed up on the griddle. In the area on business, and I decided to try Casa Jacaranda after seeing the reviews. Small business that has a very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. I got the lunch beef fajita Tacos al Carbon and the chips and salsa. The chips came out quick, and they were delicious. Hand made tortilla chips that have such a fantastic crunch that pairs with the flavorful salsa. The tacos came along and they were fairly good. The individual parts were all fantastic, from the tortilla to the guacamole. The only part I wished had a small bit more flavor was the meat but overall the tacos were really good. All in all a great restaurant that I would go back to again if I am back in the area. read more
