As for the food, I had a tounge-asm! Crisp succulent duck and perfectly made genuine Ceasar salad. My husband's grilled shrimp and lobster mac & cheese were exceptional. The bourbon cake was moist and very delicious. The chocolate cake was decadent, rich and wonderful. All this in a wonderful historic beautiful building. We have found our favorite restaurant!

The restaurant consists of three floors, all decorated amazingly. We were seated in the basement area and had a wonderful server named Jordan. We started off with drinks. I had a non-alcoholic strawberry garden fizz, my husband had a tequila old fashioned, and our son had a Shirley Temple. For an appetizer we shared the Maine Lobster Caprese. Next we ordered the Nando wedge and French onion soup. For our entrees we enjoyed the Maine Diver Scallop Bucatini, Agrodolce Wild Duck Breast, and our son had sides of macaroni and cheese and Parmesan Truffle Pommes Frites. While we were absolutely full after these courses and had parts of our meal boxed to go, our son insisted he had an extra stomach for dessert. We ordered the Lemon Tart and Creme Brulee. We had the bourbon soaked cherries that came with the crème brulee put on the side. The menu selections, the ambiance, the staff, and especially the food were all amazing. We can't wait to come back with other family and friends. *I did forget to snap a few pictures of some of our dishes.

Bonefish Grill is a seafood centered restaurant where you can dine casually or formally. The decor…read moreis elegant and includes wood tones and warm lighting. They have a wide range of seafood dishes and land based selections, as well. Our server was very polite and kept our drinks full throughout our visit. For our appetizer, we tried the crab cakes, and we were not disappointed. My date ordered the bone-in pork chop with roasted potatoes and broccoli. The pork chop was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. The roasted potatoes were cooked to perfection and tasty. I ordered the scallops florentine butterfish special for Mother's Day with a side of kung pao brussels sprouts and broccoli. My date and I both agreed that the broccoli left us disappointed, as it was bland and not seasoned (as we have found at most restaurants). My fish and scallops were tender and fresh. The kung pao Brussels sprouts were flavorful and had a nice caramelization. It's definitely a great date night spot!

I've been to various locations and can always count on a solid meal, so you now have a loyal customer! Service is always stellar, and tonight was no different. My only complaint, if I'm being picky, was that I sat at the bar, and the lighting was so dark I couldn't hardly see my food. I'm all about setting the mood, but it was a little extreme, and I don't recall it being that way at any other location. I had one of the specials, the unicorn fish and that was my first time ever trying that particular species. It came with a diablo sauce that had just enough spice, rice and perfectly cooked asparagus. I was offered bread and dessert and even a drink Togo and enjoyed chatting with the bartender. He also told me about a social bourbon dinner that was coming up and gave me the menu for it. Unfortunately I am just passing through but it looked like something I would totally attend. I'm more if a small business restaurant goer for many reasons but I will also make an exception for Bonefish and iM sad the location in Kansas City closed. Please come back!

I would recommend getting it if you want something more light. For the rest of the meal i got the wedge salad and 8oz fillet. The wedge salad was amazing! It was crunchy and fresh with a nice amount of toppings. The fillet was good but pretty standard in my opinion and not anything that stood out. One thing is that they forgot someone's steak and we had to wait until they brought it out. It took about 15 minutes for it to come out and when it did it was raw. Overall I'm not complaining for a comped meal but if i was paying i would probably not come back with how expensive this place is for what you get. The service was not amazing but I would cut them some slack being that they just opened and we were a big party. It was all good but not anything special compared to other steakhouses I've been to. Maybe for being in Indiana this is a better option for a steak meal.

Two stars are for salad bar and good waitress. That's the only good thing I can say about it. Many…read moremany years ago this was a fabulous restaurant.. the last time I ate at Cork and Cleaver was seven years ago and the prime rib was so tough I couldn't cut it.. I thought it was just a fluke and I returned last nigh, sadly I had a ribeye that was so full of gristle that every bike had to be spit out because it could not be chewed. It was also about half an inch thick. I don't really know how you can mess up a baked potato, but they managed it had a strange taste to it like bacon. Perhaps they sliced it with a soiled knife. And the butter didn't taste like butter perhaps they are using some butter substitute or it's expired. The place needs to be remodeled and returned to its former glory. Otherwise just close the doors, excessively expensive for mediocre food.

Promising Place That Needs Some Polish"…read more I've been wanting to try this place for a while. The entrance is nice, but the outside definitely needs a bit of work. When we walked in, there was a stale smell and it felt like they were understaffed. Our server was friendly but seemed overworked and a bit distracted. Cleanliness: Men's bathroom was clean, but my girlfriend mentioned the women's bathroom needed attention and had some odd pictures of men on the walls. The dining area was okay, but the place could use a vacuum and some fresh air--maybe open a window or two. Atmosphere: The seating was comfortable, and there's a small bar in the back. However, the bar staff didn't seem trained in cocktails. A Manhattan came served in a double shot glass--not ideal. Food: The ribeye special I ordered (medium) was slightly tough but still flavorful. The garlic mushrooms were too salty and there were too many of them. That said, the salad bar was impressive--lots of fresh toppings and custom options. Definitely the highlight of the meal. My girlfriend had the bourbon grilled chicken and wasn't impressed. It was tough and bland. The rice it came with was cooked well but needed more onions and peppers like the menu described. The appetizer bread and butter were solid--about a 7/10. Dessert: Didn't try any desserts. Nothing on the menu really stood out. Final Thoughts: With some interior and exterior improvements, a cleaner environment, and a revamped drink menu, this place could easily be a 4-star spot. For now, it's a decent option if you're craving steak or want to build your own salad. Worth trying--but expect a few rough edges.
