Consistently good Mexican food in my experience. As a birria taco lover this place has always been spot on with that for me.

Had a lovely dinner at Casa Don Manuel. The restaurant is massive, but well-maintained and very clean. We had chips and salsa for the table when we arrived and ordered some guac to share. All was delicious and fresh and I really enjoyed the salsa, which had a nice fresh heat. I ordered the chicken fajitas which came sizzling with a side of rice, beans, sour cream, and tortillas. It was very flavorful and I really enjoyed the rice and beans, which had a delicious savory flavor. The chicken was cooked well and so were the veggies. The service was wonderful and attentive without being overbearing. I really had no complaints and would come back again. read more

I found this restaurant to fall flat on so many levels. I ordered a fajita. Even at the chains, it comes on a sizzling platter with crisp browned vegetables. What I got was like beef stew on a skillet. It was not browned and fried. The vegetables were ALL soft and mushy like they were boiled. It was blatantly obvious they precook it all, keep it in a pot then toss it on the skillet to warm it up. Such a lazy short cut way to do it. It also tasted terrible. It had an off old tinny taste which may have been from the boiled mushrooms. It was literally inedible. I returned it. They tried again. The second was less wet. But still the same insipid ingredients. The rice on the side was meh. The refried beans were literally like water although they tasted fine. The chips are lower quality mass produced ones. Salsa was good. There are SO many options for Mexican all over. As I said, even the chains are better. Don't waste your money here. read more

This place is good but it could be really good. The food is ok but the building itself is beautiful. It used to be the Paris Inn. Drinks were also ok but they have a pre mix in some that isn't good and ordering is a little confusing with options and different servers/bartenders. They have a lot of different people making drinks which ends up being a bad thing when they all don't make them the same. Will be back for sure. They just need to tighten some stuff up. read more

The food was just so bad I can barely explain. Poppers weren't cooked had to return them . Enchiladas were a big pile of gloop. The best thing I had was a Diet Coke. The server came and I never saw him again. A nice food runner was the only person who cared. I actually had get up and ask for my bill. This was a last minute stop as the original place slotted to go to had a long wait. It is quite a huge restaurant depicted by an orange and white building. When you walk in there is ample seating and authentic decor. My friend and I sat at the bar and ordered. I had the chicken flautas and my friend had a chicken dish that can't recall the name of. The flautas were ok. Tasty enough. My friend liked her dish but it came with way too much cheese for her liking. I've been on the hunt for authentic, delicious Mexican food. I wouldn't say im a huge fan of Mexican but I do like to try different foods. I rate this restaurant a 3 because service could've been a bit better and the food (although okay) could have been a bit tastier. read more

If I was reviewing the food alone I would give this place a higher rating - But that isn't enough to keep us coming back because the service was just nonexistent. They need Gordon Ramsay to save this place or somethin!! Our food took over an hour and after waiting all that time they gave it to another table! Once I let the confused food runner know that looked like our food, they took it from the other family's table and gave it to us... we were so hungry we still ate it but cmonnnn. We only saw our server once, to take our order, then never again. Forget about refills or even checking if the food was okay. Once we finally hunted someone down for the check they overcharged us by $35. They put things on the bill we didn't even order like how does that happen?? I'm glad we noticed! It literally breaks my heart to write this review but it really needs to be addressed. We have been here three times the first time was absolutely amazing everything was perfect and we could not wait to go back. The second time was OK it was decent was not extraordinary but was not awful. This third time was a letdown from start to finish. We sat and within two seconds someone came over to say are you ready to order we looked at each other and said we just sat down we don't even know what we want to drink yet but can we have some water. The waiter said yes walked away someone else came over two seconds after that same question. Then suddenly it was like we didn't exist I would say about 10 to 15 minutes later someone finally came over we still had not gotten any water. We ordered guacamole to start and a half a picture of coconut margaritas plus our two entrées. I knew we were in trouble after the guy asked me to repeat my order three times. In the meantime a big party came in. We sat for about 20 minutes and still have not received our water or guacamole but we did manage to get a picture of regular margaritas but we were like OK it's not the end of the world that we did not get coconut. Another 10 minutes pass I finally get someone attention and ask what the hell is going on I then watch him go to three other waiters and ask where our order is apparently it was never even put in. At this point we didn't want the guacamole we just wanted to get out of there. The server came over and said oh I'll take the walk a moly off the bill well I would assume so since we never got it. It's not like he was doing us a favor. We got her food and I instantly knew I had made a mistake. We went home and with in an hour I began sweating profusely and felt very nauseous and sick to my stomach. By 10 o'clock that evening I had been up until 4 o'clock in the morning sick as a dog from the salmon that I ordered. This restaurant is an absolute waste of time!!!! Tried going there on 2 separate occasions. Both times were extremely disappointing! My daughter and I ordered the carne asada tacos which came out cold. We asked the waiter to take them back because it was cold and when he came back with our "new order", they simply gave us hot shells with the same COLD meat! Then my husband ordered the steak and that too was COLD! Sent that back and still came back with a COLD steak! Don't even bother wasting time going there! So it's Cinco de Mayo and oddly enough we decided to come to a Mexican restaurant. What are the odds, right? We were the second online and the place looked very chaotic. The maître d stand was empty and the place was packed. A woman came to clear off a table and told us 'be right with you'... and she was. She seated us and we both thought... 'oh boy'... we're going to be waiting a while to get served. WRONG! We barely got the thought out when chips and salsa came flying over to our table with menus. "Be right back...' and he was to get our drink selection. I had a beer, while the Mrs. had a margarita. (HINT: Order the 1/2 pitcher of margaritas... a MUCH better deal) Our waiter came back and took our order (we both had fajitas and some extra guacamole) and headed off, much to our surprise. Looking around I noticed that all the staff were literally running 'to and fro' trying to accommodate everyone. We came here with the kids and friends on Cinco de Mayo. It's a good thing. We got here early around 430 because it soon got packed. There was a line out the door by the time 5 o'clock rolled around. Atmosphere is great. Service is a little slow, but not sure if that was because it got very busy during Cinco de Mayo. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas which was good and the food we ordered was also just as good. I had the fish tacos. The kids enjoyed their kids meals as well. Not sure why this place is rated 4 stars. Our experience was terrible and we will not be returning. Restaurant was cold inside, and only two other customers. That should have been a red flag when we went in. Our dinner was awful. Queso dip was greasy. Beef fajitas were cold and the meat was dried out and over cooked. Lacked any kind of flavor. We wanted to send it back for something else, but we sat for 20 minutes waiting for someone to come back and check on us and they never did. We had to get up and find the staff who were playing cards in another room. While they did take the dinner off the check, the whole experience was terrible. Avoid this place!!! read more

With a beautiful interior and great reviews, I had high expectations from this spot, but they failed me. We arrived in a group of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids including a baby) around 4pm and they weren't busy. We were seated right away and at least 2 servers came to our table to take drinks which arrived quickly. While service was mostly friendly, they failed in taking our orders correctly with the wrong protein and completely missing entrees. They also brought our meals over an hour after we ordered them with corrections arriving even later. While the drinks and complementary chips and salsa were good, the rest of the food was just okay to good. The bacon-wrapped shrimp that came in my Casa Combinacion entree was tasty but they were skimpy with the mole sauce and the chicken was really dry. Our entire stay was 2.5 hours without ordering any appetizers and service cut out for too long after taking our order. Unacceptable.
