Huge delicious sandwich at a great price on Tortas Thursday. Watch the chipotle it HOT!

Ordered 3 Tortas all 3 were wrong. They threw these sandwiches together with whatever ingredient they had left in the kitchen. We called they said sorry we ran out of stuff. Next time call email and tell ppl so we have an option to cancel. Terrible solution in fact no solution. why do I have ham and carrots when I was suppose to have peppers and onions and bacon. Decided to stop by here for lunch, and while the location was a bit tricky to find (it's tucked behind some commercial buildings), it was well worth it. The space is great, and the menu offers a lot of options. The food was very good pleasantly surprising, honestly and the fresh juices were excellent as well. Service was friendly and attentive, and the staff did a great job recommending items. I also liked that the menus are on tablets, which makes it easy to browse everything they have available. Overall, a really solid experience. I would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. read more

Stopped in on a Saturday for a quick lunch and the place was empty. Server there was really friendly and helpful, price was great, but unfortunately the food fell short. Both the burrito and burrito bowl with steak were sort of cold, lettuce was soggy, rice was flavorless, and the dish overall wasn't great. The birria fries were actually quite good and the meet in those was far superior to the burrito and bowl. I also tried one of their house made juices which was decent and refreshing. There was some fruit flies that were circling us when the food came out which gave me the sense it may not be the cleanest of places. Overall it's a cheap and quick lunch option but could be better. read more

Literally superb!!! Worth 10 stars really. The service was quick, efficient and excellent. The food was delish! I ate it all up. The horchata was authentic and good. Honestly worth every penny. And it wasn't even that pricey. $18 for these tacos and rice. The place is decorated very colorful and I felt like I was back in Mexico. Can't wait to go back. read more

I had never eaten nor heard of a torta, but I'm glad the kind waitstaff, Oriana, recommended one! There will be many more in my future- massive torta was extremely delicious. A spacious restaurant with loud music and Mexican themed decor, is nestled towards the back of a commercial complex. The service was fine with the patient cashier taking my order. However, I was not offered a drink with my chicken burrito order, so I had to pay for it separately. The burrito was tasty, filled with rice, beans, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and well seasoned chicken. I chose tortilla chips, though fries were an also an optional side. Served with a red and green sauce on the side. My biggest complaint is that they drizzled a crema on the outside of the burrito, but offered no utensils. I have been to Tortas Lokas three times as of this review. My office typically does taco Tuesday from various local Mexican restaurants. Tortas Lokas has a pretty good Taco Tuesday Special. For $1.50 you have your choice of meat and basic condiments. You can add on condiments such as guac and tomatoes for an additional charge. The tacos are actually pretty good. About average for this neck of the woods. My only issue is that they never seem to fill the orders correctly. For example, we ordered tacos with guac and they didn't include the guac. We ordered tacos with radishes we didn't get the radishes. We ordered tacos without onions and they put onions on. I can go on and on. They are very inconsistent. Another example. We ordered guac and chips. One week we received two small containers of guac. The next week we only received one. The following week they were out of guac altogether. We place our orders online using the Toast app so there really shouldn't be all these errors. The only other item I have ordered was a grilled chicken salad. Dry chicken and iceberg lettuce. It's a hard pass. The establishment is pretty clean and has several tables for dining in. We will probably give them another chance. But next time I will dissect the contents of the bag before leaving. read more

Nice enough service for fast casual spot, but the food that we tried was all poor. Ordered guac n chips, queso birria tacos and al pastor tacos. All 3 items lacked seasoning and flavor. What a great find! I was in the area shopping and looked for a place to eat. This place good reviews so we checked it out. It was hard to find because it is tucked off the Highway in a corporate building but it was worth looking for. The food and service were really good. The prices were reasonable. The menu has a lot of options and definitely more of an authentic style Mexican restaurant. They have a good truck and do catering and come set up taco bars for parties. read more

Love that I came across this gem ! Was looking for Mexican food for dinner nearby and the pictures looked good. Ordered through the website, was very easy to use. They text you when the order is ready if you give your phone number. Estimate was 20m for a few things and it was even quicker than that. It's in a lot with other businesses but they had a lot of signs on the building so you can see where they are. Walked inside and it's so clean and has a lot of fun decorations. Picture spots! Have a tablet to order if you want and can order at the counter. Ordered a chicken burrito w chips, quest birria tacos w consume, and 4 tacos with different meats. Chicken burrito was stuffed! Chicken was flavorful and tender. Dipped the burrito in the consume as well, consume was so rich !!! I was amazed and just kept dipping everything in it! The tacos were a great price for a good amount, small but 4 still got me full. Will be back for sure and can't wait! read more

Nice quaint Mexican restaurant next to the rock gym that I go to regularly. Waitress was friendly and service was pretty quick. This place is absolutely fantastic and worth your time. As a Mexicano born in raised in LA, all these flavors are on point and put me back home every time I eat it. The Pambazo is my go to but anything you'd select would great. My wife is a vegetarian and usually get the Mulitas (Cheeseetacos for you gringos) with beans and never complains. She actually doesn't like whole beans but theirs are soooo good she take down a plates of three. I haven't had the fruit juices but I'm sure they're on point. Within my short time living in the Caldwell/Fairfield area I would say this place is my favorite Mexican street food joint. My Mexican restaurant of choice is Carlos in Little Falls but if I had to choose between the two, it's Tacos Lokas. The place has nice seating for me and my family, its BYOB and Bianca and Saray give some fantastic service. Don't let the business location fool you, this is some damn good authentic food. Tip- have your the bread of your torta dipped in the Birria for some extra flavor. read more

We had the Fairfield location serve our group of summer program students from their food truck. The food is always phenomenal, the service was great, and the staff were fast and polite and friendly. Very good service. If you have an event get their food truck the food is great, the portions are large and service is wonderful! read more
