Grabbed some food for a friend and I before we sat down to some beers at breakside. Though they had quite a bit to choose from menu wise, I kept it simple and grabbed tacos ($2.25 each) and a burrito ($8) The burrito was good (carnitas) meat texture was awesome with crispy bits to be found though I was a little Bummed that it wasn't a huge burrito and was able to eat the whole thing in one sitting. The taco trio I chose 3 different meats. My friend ate them all and mentioned that one of them really needed salt but I didn't bother to ask which one. The place is small, clean, the tables are wobbly and undersized. The service is friendly and quick. The process are on the high side from my perspective. The food is pretty good, it seems authentic to us. The wife had a couple of tacos, I had a carne asada chimichanga. My chimi was more than I could eat. Tasty as well. The wife had no problem with the tacos. I also ordered a side of chips and salsa and was pleased with them. We both ordered slushy frozen drinks. I thought the line was too tat and the pins collage too sweet. If i go back again, I think mixing those two would be just about perfect. I was sad they didn't of l have drinking water. Stopped by for breakfast at 9:30 am on a Thursday. Ordered the chilaquiles. Was asked if I wanted my chilaquiles mild or spicy. Went for the spicy option. Food was ready in about five minutes. There is a salsa bar. The chilaquiles were delicious. The drive thru and to go orders for breakfast burritos seemed to be the popular option. The food is brought out to you, and you bus your own table. Would return to try the breakfast burritos. read more

Food is uninspiring and not flavorful. Carne asada in tacos was unattractive, though overall presentation was nice. Rice and beans adequate. Salsa was pretty good and the saving grace of the meal. No ambience, but it is nice and clean in the dining room and the bathroom. Parking lot is really tight. I would eat here again if I was starving and nothing else was open, but it's no destination restaurant. read more

This place really nickels and dimes you. They do not give you container for hot sauce, you have to put it on your plate. They do not give you cups and charge you a dollar fifty per empty cup. They plates of food, minimal portion size are $17.00. Overall I would pass on this place. read more

We have been going here for a few years, we even had them cater our wedding. Today we bought 2 carne asada burritos and 2 taco for $26.95!!! 1st of all the burritos were 3/4 beans and a 1/4 meat WE ORDERED CARNE ASADA burritos not BEAN!! And to top it off the salsa, I don't know how or why they think it is ok to be so cheap with the 1 oz size salsa. Come on I know inflation is happening but when you order mexican food you want salsa not a tease. I have no problem paying for extra salsa at all, but don't argue with your patrons. So needless to say, we may not go back and it too bad, but 1 employee can ruin it for 10 people!!! read more

They would not provide salsa with the chips and if you wanted more that one little plastic container of taco sauce with your $13 plate of cheese enchiladas they charge you a dollar. You have to purchase water, not offered in a cup. Chilaquiles look terrible, no eggs unless you ask specifically for them and the beans were runny. Basically a cut up tortilla with red sauce on it. When I returned it uneaten, I had to ask for my money back. Then I was told nobody has ever complained before and had to argue to get my money back. Best breakfast burrito in town! I've been on the hunt for a great breakfast burrito for awhile so when my brother picked me up one from this restaurant I was pleasantly surprised and now I have to have one at least once a week! I can only eat half as they are very filling but the other half reheats nicely giving me 2 breakfasts for about $5! I especially love their hot sauce, nice kick and full of flavor! First the off the interior is nice and clean. Plenty of space to eat.. The menu had just basic Mexico food. Unlike other places that has a variety of combination of items for a speciality item..this places does not Staff was friendly and helpful. The food arrived in a short amount of time. I ordered the taco salad. At first glance it is smaller then the taco salad at Taco Bell. Standard ingredients inside..the only difference is the meat and there is no rice. The meat was shredded beef. Good flavor and juice but was not hot. It was room temperature. The bottom of the shell had the beans. Good flavor just not alot. The shell was better then others. Nice chewy and homemade. Over all just average for the price. Taco Bell is cheaper and you get more so its depends on what your looking for. I got good recommendation for this place and had high hopes for another good Mexican restaurant...not going to be this one. read more

This is a little hidden gem in Clackamas on the now difficult to get to end of 82nd drive. The food is fantastic and the portions are a bit on the large side. You may find finishing a Burrito difficult. read more

Super good street tacos! It's our fave spot to pick them up. Drive thru is a real bonus! Only downside is they don't keep consistent open hours. Sometimes we've driven down to get food during their "open" time, but they were closed. read more

I don't like to use plastic bottles. When I asked for tap water the lady said she's not allowed to let customers drink the tap water here. I'm happy to pay for ice or whatever but to completely restrict tap water is absurd. I don't care what the food & ambiance is like, I will not come back because of this. My companion even bought a bottled drink, and we bought $35 in food for 2 people do it's not about being cheap. As far as the food- it was ok. The tamale would have been quite good had it not been over heated. The edges were so hard I couldn't chew them. The enchiladas were ok- nothing overly good or bad about them. read more

I have been coming here for a while, I always get to-go because I'm very busy. Unfortunately this place does not care about orders, and is not as unique as other Casa Del Sols. I've been letting all the bad service slide as it is very convenient, but after this, I will not be coming back. (Had a picture ready to submit, but basically, I bought the carne asada plate, they just threw it in the bag. So my entire meal was meshed together on one side of the styrofoam box). I grew up eating Mexican food in SoCal, and have had a tough time finding a place that had carne asada that tasted like what I'm used to. That is, until I ate here. On my first visit, I had a taco plate with carne asada tacos. It tasted soooo good. The plate was a decently sized serving. I raved about this place to my husband. The only draw back was that there is barely any parking, so I recommended the drive thru for our next visit. We came through the drive thru tonight and placed 2 orders of carne asada fries, only to be disappointed when we got home. The serving sizes were TINY. We each ate our order and are still hungry. I have never eaten somewhere where I've been able to make it more than 1/2 way through an order of carne asada fries. I am so disappointed. The food is really good. I'm not sure why one order would be a good portion, and the next would be so little. Maybe it's the dish? I am unsure if I'll come back and try anything else, I don't want to be disappointed again. read more
