Even the manager was understandably annoyed that they call $30 off a 'dinner for 2' when most entrees on the menu are around $30. He said they haven't changed the amount in 20 years..... umm inflation!!! Look, this is all about setting expectations. Had we been told you won a $30 rebate off our next check, we would have been happy but that is vastly different than telling someone they won dinner for 2 where the average bill is around $80 and then telling them you're only getting $30 taken off the bill. You may want to update some of those marketing campaigns as they are not having the type of impact you are hoping for.
