This morning I went for takeout and ordered my usual: chorizo, chicharrón, and pan de bono. When I got home and opened the bag, I was honestly shocked. For seven dollars, what I got was basically nothing. The portions were insulting--barely a bite of food--and yet the prices keep climbing higher and higher. I understand costs have gone up, but there's a big difference between fair pricing and blatantly ripping off loyal customers. This was the latter. After all these years of supporting Noches, today felt like a slap in the face. Sadly, you've lost a customer who used to recommend you everywhere. If this is how you treat your regulars now, I can only imagine how first-timers feel.

I went on the weekend, and for a new place there was a lot of people present. I tried the beef empanadas which comes with dipping sauces which bring them to life. I also had a guanabana soursop drink which was nice and cold, if there is an option for more creamy and sweet I would opt for that since it is cold weather. I also had the Salteado mixta with white rice and fried plantain. This dish has beef, shrimp, and chicken and sweet pepper strips. All foods were hot, the Salteado came out on a hot dish which kept the temperature. Overall the place was nice and clean, I sat in at the bar area as seating was easier for one person. I would come back as there are many good options to try. The food was good.
